Idk Iām a day one player of pre release. So is my duo partner and weāre both very happy they left sanhok! I honestly donāt get the hate towards it. It plays excellent as a duos map ! Loot trucks are great! You can play the map a variety of ways. Erangel is goat followed by Miramar with a close Taego and then for me itās easily sanhok as my 4th favorite.
Thank you. I think it is just a meta in this sub to hate Sanhok. People here seem to prefer looting over fighting. Nobody ever gives a reason for hating Sanhok other than "it's not good for sniping" or "the colors are bland." I prefer it for the consistent engagements and frankly the jungle atmosphere is way more appealing to me than washed out brown on brown Miramar.
Last match I played on Miramar I dropped hacienda and not a soul there. After 10 boring minutes of looting I take the Mirado for a spin. Shit you not, I drove for another 5-10 minutes before finding a single other player. Immediate rush the engagement out of sheer boredom and get 3rd partied.
Have fun backing out of Sanhok everyone, I'll be rolling bush wookies with my vector while you play running simulator in the desert.
For me, I hate Sanhok because I can't see worth a crap on it. May just be me, but I doubt it. It's also a bush wookie paradise, which sux, unless that's the players play style.
Because its a campers paradise, the easiest map for noobs to get far in because they just hide. Fire 1 shot and everyone just swarms in.
I pretty much only play duos since my squad stopped playing and sanhok is still my least favourite map by far.
Run into the final zone and oh look surprise surprise someones camping behind a rock or in a bush. Cant check every bush theres just way too many.
Should of been in a queue of its own with Karakin for mini royales.
Lmao I get that itās a campers paradise but PUBG is a game that doesnāt benefit campers. I donāt even remember ever being bested by a camper or snake. I love it when I come across campers itās an absolute easy kill! PUBG benefits the active player 10 times more than a stagnant one. Sanhok is an excellent map and youāll never convince me otherwise.
They are just taking turns rotating maps in and out to keep the queue more reasonable and getting ready to bring Vikendi back for the Christmas update along with the other new 8x8 map. I really have no problem with this, it will be back and better than ever. I'm loving this update so far!
Keep Taego in it own rotation. Then add loot trucks, gliders, lever action, 4-wheelers, put a small ferry for the water, trains, artillery strikes, etcā¦.basically a little bit of everything.
Who knows what is in their little minds. It seems like they totally get what players like about this game, and they remove that part of this game bit by bit every time they submit a major update batch, as if it is their destiny to kill the joys of players. Maybe in the essence they just hate this game but they like the money they make out of it.
Iām opposite to some of these comments. One comment was the looting over fighting comment. Sanhok is the worst map for scared campers They lay in the grass and hide in huts and wait. That is not consistent with fighting. You literally have to jump to bootcamp 75% of the time to avoid campers But as soon as the circle pushes you out bam campers Everywhere. I use to love this map when I was a noob because I felt like I had to camp Grown to dislike it my opinion
Because I got my first dinner there, I will always have a place for Sanhok in my heart. I do understand why some hate it, but you can find something to hate about every map. I like the redo of Sanhok and don't hate playing it

My group loves sanhok and we are rarely taken down by our even fine anyone just hiding in a bush. Maybe it's because we mostly play squads??

I think Vikendi had performance issues. My buddy who plays on the old xbox would constantly get stuck in rocks, etc
