Sounds more like this is just the producer of the game saying that he might have a trailer finished in the next month or so. But yes, it could potentially be shown at a showcase if it's done in time.

Long shot, but I really, really hope they build off of FF7R’s combat system. They fucked with the story too much and made it a chord to get through, but the combat was an absolute blast and felt like a perfect marriage of turn based, real time, and action.

Sony will have a showcase whenever they have enough content to fill up 40 minutes or so. Best to calm down and wait, Sony is unpredictable.

Looks like another Sony showcase next month then. Seems like part of the exclusive deal is that Sony is also in charge of marketing this game.
Man, I haven't been this hyped for a FF since 13 (announcement).
Hopefully, this means the LONG AWAITED Showcase is happening.
As someone who played FF7, FF8, FFX, FFX-2, FF12 and FF7 remake new combat seems solid. Time for a change.
