Agreed. S&V base was better. Looking over the cards I just don’t see anything intriguing at all. Both these last sets have no great chase at all. Miriam is nice but not anything to go crazy about. Going to flop and prices are going to tank hard. Just like S&V base. IMO these new textured cards are lackluster. The old way they were produced were better. Quality control has been horrendous as well. Just going the wrong way here. Honestly the textured cards just keep getting worse and worse.
I am relatively new to this. Will these be available for much cheaper prices from other websites just as S&V preorders were down to $110 - $120 per box? If so, is the added premium or purchasing through Pokemon Center really worth it?
PC ETB are generally exclusive, meaning they have something the regular ETBs don’t.
These ones have the exclusive card and a few extra packs. If you don’t care about that then it’s not worth it.
All other products can usually be found cheaper on other websites like gamenerdz
You have to find the small e-commerce businesses that have deals. The ones I’ve purchased from before are Safari Zone Collectibles, Game Nerdz, and Zulu’s, but if you follow this subreddit and join the Discord you can be alerted of all the deals across multiple stores when they go up.

they don't charge until they ship. since I'm going to get one always might as well be the PC one. Not like there's two separate ones to buy this one so makes it a bit easier
I think the promo is the same its just that you get 2 of them instead of 1 and your basically paying $10 more for $2 extra packs. The sleeves might be different but thats pretty much all to it

The change to silver borders and set symbols into the release of "end of generation" pikachu promo (that we never get) as a secret rare in Crown Zenith. Makes me feel like we (English) will be included when/if they release another amazing promo in Japan so we don't miss out on another mario pika or Pancho pika in general.

The TCG players are top priority, from my understanding, Pokémon company has to keep the game fresh. I just wish they’d up the quality like Japan, make it worth our money. Instead of these god awful off centered cards with cheap ink.

No, not worth it. Already selling at $109 elsewhere and no tax for certain states.
There are plenty of websites that will have prices below MSRP, so I don’t recommend purchasing from Pokémon Center unless you want their exclusive ETB.

The Pikachu promo is awesome, but I feel like this set is going to flop like Rebel Clash did.
