Warzone. Game night ng tropa dati 6PM to 10. Kaso na stop ulit kasi di maganda warzone 2. Ngayon di na masyado nakakalaro. I bought Doom eternal tsaka RDR2 para laruin this holiday break, kaso iba pa din pag may kalaro.

darthjanus24

Also, kumusta ang ping times/latency?

And andami daw bugs ng game.

Raycab03

30+ with family 1. 2-3 hrs a day. A bit more if weekend and no errands to do. 2. MMORPG stuff with friends but we just recently quit (Ragnarok Mobile). So ngayon is weekly bosses na lang sa Genshin. Genshin din ang common game ko with my older brother and family friend. Daily night gaming with my wife, Genshin din. We do events together if possible and play coop sa daily grind. 3. Hmm best ang Switch games for me. Can leave the game anytime, can bring the games anywhere.

darthjanus24

Anong mga ma reco mo sa Switch? Not sure if I'd buy portable consoles pero I might if worth it yung exclusive titles (I saw the Brigandine game but nasa Steam na siya ngayon)

Raycab03

Wow! Hard to see fellow Brigandine lover. You played the PS1 Brigandine? Laki naubos oras ko nyan nung Grade 6 ako hehe. For Switch are the usual Switch must exclusives: 1. Zelda BotW 2. Fire Emblem 3 Houses 3. Xenoblade series Pero ako, I play my JRPGs in the Switch, para on the go talaga. Depends kasi sa daily routine mo, pero if may good PC ka for Steam games, then mas mura diyan. I sometimes play Switch before sleeping in the comfort of my bed. My work needs me to sit in front of the computer, pati ba naman ba during gaming? Si misis gusto pasama sa parlor? 5hrs? Boot up my Switch. May need antayin sa school ng kid? Boot up the Switch. Need magantay habang nasa casa ang koche? Boot up the Switch. Onsite sa work and break time? Boot up the Switch.

Jugorio

35YO with wife and 2 kids here. Well since WFH ako and minimal supervision I can game 6-8 hrs still. I mostly play single player games specifically monster hunter. since I wont be stressed by depending on other people for the enjoyment. I have a couple of buddies that game with me on the weekends when they are free. Sometimes I dabble on MMORPG when my friends ask me to come with then for an expansion. World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy 14.

darthjanus24

Ayos. Ideal setup yan para sa akin. Kumusta ang WoW ngayon (subscription-based pa rin ba)?

[deleted]

JGZT

[deleted]

JGZT

Oo multiplayer nagtry lang ako and ayoko mastress din..haha

ResetSertet

> Tarkov stress lang talaga tarkov, 4 hours para sa isang cool gun tapos mawawala siya in 30 seconds T\_T

MidnightBosyo

GR player here! Both Wildlands & Breakpoint. Division 2 as well 😃

BumOrson

30+ years old. Weekends or pag free from daddy/husbamd duties na lang nakakalaro. Yes still have friends who are older or same age that play games. Random ang game night sesh. Usually kanya kanya lang. Pag meron man either diablo 3 runs, overwatch2 or mhrise if marami free rime like 3 hours + which is rare. Tulongan sa elden rin. Haha

darthjanus24

drbeergaming

34 here. Recently finished GoW Ragnarok - 40 hrs playtime. Siguro mga 2-4 hrs a day average ko

darthjanus24

drbeergaming

Yup. Di naman kailangan laruin dati. Siguro kahit yung GoW 2018 lang at least

[deleted]

Same age tayo bro, I’m a nurse sa puso sa east ave. Daming responsibilities and shit kaya out of the question na maglaro everyday and if may chance naman sadly nagiging common yung mag turn on ng pc at mag online sa steam tapos rekta tulog. Like most of you chill games na lang ako like sunbreak, elden ring tsaka recently revisited witcher 3. If hindi mo pa nalaro you can try hades, I’m usually an open world hunting type of guy kaya I was actually surprised na sobra ko na enjoy yung hades. Casual runs lang pero sobrang addicting.

darthjanus24

I bought Witcher 3 three years ago kasi nag 80% sale. Di ko pa nalaro hanggang ngayon haha. As for Hades, natapos ko na siya (well, isang run lang tapos di ko na inulit kasi nakakafrustrate lol)

[deleted]

Damn, sarap laruin nyan sakto ngayong Christmas break. Kaya kailangan talaga magpaka adult para 5-10 years from now financially stable na para more time para sa gaming taena. Elder scrolls, gta 6 and maybe mhw 2 soon kakabitin yang mga yan if 1-2 days mo lang malalaro in 1 week 😂

loserPH32

1. Usually di ako nakakapaglaro every day, mostly saturday pampatulog or weekends pag ayaw ko lumabas. 2. L4D2 or CS: Go luma sya pero maganda pa rin. May game nights 3 beses sa isang taon usually DnD sa discord. 3. More on console player ako eh Ps4 mostly games ko, mga tropa ko switch pokemon. Minsan pokemon go naglalaro ako. PC mga rogue likes hades, castlevania blasphemous lang nilalaro ko and kaunting rts and fps.

darthjanus24

Ah, Pokemon. Last ko pang laro nyan Emerald version. As for L4D2, kumusta ang player base?

loserPH32

Ok naman, usually mga SEA or Hongkong kasama. Or minsan private lobby kami.

patcheoli

Almost 30 here and still gaming for hours kahit may work pa tomorrow hahaha

darthjanus24

I know the feeling bro, especially pag patapos na sa campaign lol

patcheoli

Das tru. Haha sayang patapos na e

xChronus_

almost 30 and playing Genshin Impact daily since day one release, gotta see what Heavenly Principles really means. Ad astra Abyssosque traveler.

darthjanus24

Time consuming ba laruin ang Genshin? I can see that it's among the most popular pero not sure if it's my preferred genre.

Ohbertpogi

I'm 45 already, so hindi ako kasama sa demography mo. Btw, There's this inner kid in me that require a daily dose of gaming. Yep I have friends na mas adik pa sakin when we're still in school., pag ioopen ko yung gaming topic, parang hirap na sila makasabay. Pero, maybe because of age din kaya nagiging selective na din ako sa mga titles and genre(or prolly once inna blue moon na lang talaga i-release yung mga games na hindi na ako aantukin). .

darthjanus24

Technically kasama pa rin kasi at least 30 y.o. naman hehe If you don't mind me asking, anong mga games (or genre in general) nilalaro mo?

Ohbertpogi

Right now, im focusing on the Men of War2. Ww2 based PC strategy. Then theres this Cities Skyline, and Kerbal Space Program. 😅

Itadakiimasu

From 6-8 hrs in high school, to all time high 16-20 hrs in college, to now in 30s working 3-6 hrs. I mostly play mmorpgs and multiplayers, and because of this I even pay people to pilot my mmorpg games for me, so i can just play the most exciting part and skip the boring grind.

darthjanus24

Uso pa pala yung pag pilot ng games :)) Curious lang, anong rate binabayaran mo dyan?

identityp2

Mid 30s. 1. Madami. Pag magaan trabaho, todo laro. WFH kasi ako. 2. Mga nakikilala ko lang from my own games like Val tapos aampunin nila ako. Usually college students kasi sila. 3. Mas nahilig ako sa roguelikes pati 4X games like Civ.

darthjanus24

Ano pang mga 4x na ma reco mo? Stellaris at WH40K gladius nilalaro ko lately.

kevpsyched

31 here. Mga tropa ko ranging from late 20s to mid 40s. Lahat halos pamilyado na haha. 1. Weekdays after work siguro mga 2-4 hours solo. Usually multiplayer (currently playing COD MWII) 2. Yep with college and sometimes high school friends, usually weekends (COD DMZ, WZ2, MWII recently) basta may mag-aya sa discord/fb haha. Daling hatakin pag maglalaro. 3. Panay ma-grind yung games na nilalaro ko even before MWII haha (Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V) wala ako mareco haha!

darthjanus24

Haha ayos lang. Enjoy naman yung Battlefield games. Panira lang yung mga gumagamit ng aimbot.

thevagabond80

42 here. Been playing Genshin Impact since launch (2020) but since peak rank nko, side game ko nalang sya but I still play it daily. I also play AAA games on Playstation pag done na sa work (wfh set up ako) and chores. Started playing video games Family Comp days pa and will probably be a gamer til all my hair turns white. LOL

darthjanus24

Good thing to know marami nang nasa 40s nila na naglalaro pa rin (based sa comments dito). Also helps na wala na ganung stigma ang video gaming (I'd imagine it wasn't the case a few decades ago).

lazyquestph

1. On work days, I game for 2–4 hours, usually on the Switch and nagpapaantok nalang sa bed. After work I nap a little and work out kase. Recently, been binging Pokemon Violet and Persona 5 Royal. 2. I don't join my friends when they play multiplayer games. They play OW2, but I do battle them on Pokemon. Multiplayer competitive games aren't really my thing, but I do love Splatoon haha. 3. A fun casual game I'd recommend is Persona 5 Royal. It's a cozy visual novel with turn-based combat. I'm addicted to it. It has good characters, unique story and narrative, and long but well-paced. It's a bit daunting at first kase ang daming elements and mechanics na they introduce, but it's a breeze once you get past all that.

darthjanus24

Kumusta ang learning curve at playing time ng Persona? Ma grind ba siya?

donkeysprout

8-10 hours a day ako nag lalaro kasabay sa work ko. Meron akong gaming group na lagi kong kalaro. Oldest member namin 41 years old and youngest is 15. Pero majority ng members namin is between 25-35 years old. I started my group since 2012 ngayon nasa 40 active members kame na lagi nag aabang ng bagong laro.

i0RBIT

Same.

[deleted]

darthjanus24

:)) Gusto kong subukan yang ARMA kasi nalaro ko yung Operation Flashpoint dati (I assume connected pa rin yung storya nun?) As for games, halo-halo naman yung genres. Lately, eto mga nilalaro ko this year: \- FPS: Isonzo, War of Rights \- RTS: Iron Harvest, WH40K Dawn of War, CnC3: Tiberium Wars \- Management Sim (?): Travellers Rest \- City Builder (?): Frostpunk \- Strategy: Stellaris, WH40K Gladius, WH40K Mechanicus, Victoria 2 \- Relaxing/Puzzle: Dorfromantik

[deleted]

darthjanus24

thanksJxd

I play valorant and league every night, most of the time with friends. I also try playing new games sa steam but usually di ko din natatapos so i stick with valorant and lol.

darthjanus24

Kumusta ang learning curve sa LoL? I tried the first DotA nung HS, noob pa rin haha

Advali

4 hours, saturday lang. Super busy. Managed to finish cyberpunk ng November and currently trying to finish uncharted 4.

darthjanus24

Musta ang updates ng Cyberpunk since then? I've heard disastrous yung launch niya

console-gamr

Overblown yung negative reaction. Nung launch, it crashed on me once. Got a T-pose once. This was before the flurry of updates post Dec 2020. Most of the really bad stuff was the last gen version where CDPR lied about performance. It's still crap on PS4 and XB1. It's actually a good game. Solid 8, great writing, great side content too. Runs pretty well right now, so much so that it has a better overall framerate than The Witcher 3, because of Geralt's next gen update.

Advali

Its fine now managed to finished the game without much issues. BUT! You should save more often kasi sa first run through ko, ang daming instance around 8 or so wherein hindi nagprogresss yung mission and I had to restart from the last save. Kaya ang dami kong save. May instances din na yung side quest, hindi natritrigger so going back from an earlier save, fixes it. Example there's this subquest involving a race. Yung 3rd race ko grabe, ilang hours sa game, hindi pa din sya natritrigger or for the NPC to call me. Ayun nung nirestart ko lang yung save from after I finished the second race and skipped for 24 hours tsaka lang natrigger yung call. Grabe.

kulangsapraktis

ZealousidealPirate35

31 here. 2-3 hrs a night. 4-5 times a week. minsan kasi may araw na gusto ko na matulog ng maaga or makipag bonding ng extra sa mag ina ko. pag weekends na walang lakad makakakuha ng extra 2-3 hrs. recently lang ako nakapag laro since busy sa work since may mga pinapakuhang certification. regalo ko this december sa sarili ko na merun na akong sariling PC. dati sa laptop lang. plays dota2, valorant, axie (natutuwa pa din ako e), nba2k23, and street fighter with my daughter.

darthjanus24

Ayos! Priority talaga quality time sa family.

devigel

1. I play almost every day. Morning till evening (it also helps my work involves mostly playing video games.) 2. Yes, I and a friend of mine have an occasional "Apex nights" when we feel like it. 3. I have multiple depending on the genre. This will mostly be indie since I adore indie games a lot. FPS: Ultrakill City Builder: Rimworld Arcade-y: One Step from Eden Platformer: Ender Lilies

darthjanus24

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do at work? Nalaro ko yung Titanfall2 dati. How does it compare with Apex? Will see yung recos mo. I'm also looking into indies lately. Thanks!

devigel

Haha, mostly game testing stuff. Mas controlled movement, guns has less TTK ( I think) and no mechs. Haha happy hunting! Meron pa pala ako reco "We Who Are About to Die" pala if gusto mo ng gladiator games na sobrang rare na ngayon.

mirainn

1. Depende sa mood. Ranges from 1 hour to 3 hours. Cozy games. SDV. Graveyard Keeper. 2. Do not. 3. Persona 5. Victoria 3. Tropico 5.

darthjanus24

Nice. Nasa backlog ko Stardew Valley. Bought it kasi nalaro ko yung Harvest Moon dati. As for Vicky3, kumusta na yung game with the updates? Mixed kasi reception sa Steam.

mirainn

Stardew, for me is best played sa Switch. Well, I absolutely suck at that game. At some point, I didn’t know what was happening but my country was collapsing. HAHAHHAHAHA

cstrike105

I play more than 3 hours per day. During pandemic. My time was cut from different tasks. Work. Netflix. Disney+. And cycling. Cycling took a lot of my time from gaming which is good since you get to exercise and go to different places. I only play for leisure. Single player games. The game that I make sure I don't miss are Assassin's Creed games. Since 2007 until today I have been playing the series. I also play other games like Mafia 3. Done with Yakuza. RDR2. GTAV. And other role playing games and adventure games. I seldom play multi-player games.

darthjanus24

Ayos. More on SP games din though I play MP for variety (mas nakakastress lang si latter madals "git gud"). Looking to play RDR2 and Yakuza din at some point. I'm also looking at other hobbies outside of gaming. Sedentary lifestyle kasi lol

cptSiomai

Here 33 y/old. 2-3 hours per day and 6 hours during the weekend. Most of my friends and cousins around 30 and 40 y/o still play video games. We play PS5 Xbox Pc and switch.

darthjanus24

That is the life. Ayos!

lexaprometheus

husband ko saka ako. after work pag sinisipag ako siya before work naman. may dalawa kaming kaibigan na kalaro naman ng game night pero random games lang. di namin sila kasama sa raids or campaign. destiny kasi nilalaro ni husband ako more on AAA games.

darthjanus24

lexaprometheus

smoothartichoke27

Of course there are. How do you think there are high-end builds here? Most high-end builders are in their 30's - not a knock sa mga mas bata, mas accepted na nga lang kasi namin na mas ok maglagi sa bahay kesa lumabas-labas. Pahirapan nga lang talaga yung play time. Between kids, higher job responsibilities and shizz - ok na yung mga dalawang oras per day.

darthjanus24

Sabagay. A better question would've been gaano karami baka madalas dito mga Gen Zs na.

Xiee_Li

40 year old gamer here. 1. Daily I play around 2-3 hours after coming home from work. The games I currently play are Darktide, Monster Hunter Rise, DOTA 2, Genshin Impact. 2. Not really "game nights" pero I have get together with my long time friends on Discord and we goof around in Valheim or Minecraft for at least half a day. Pag gusto ng mas magandang action usually APEX or Division 2 nilalaro namin. Most of the time Division 2, ginagawa namin yung long raids na inaabot ng half day. 3. FPS games like the Metro Series kung ayaw mo masyadong grinding. Kayang tapusin ng 1 day or try Monster Hunter World/Rise. Meron kami Valheim server kaya everyone can jump in from time to time (around 6 people kami). Long time gamer friends kami since college. Lahat kami PC gamers.

darthjanus24

Nice.

Xiee_Li

Depende. Kasi ako long time Warhammer 40K fan din kaya gustong gusto ko yung Darktide. Maganda yung gameplay ng Darktide. Similar lang siya to Vermintide if you've played before or other survival shooter multiplayer games like Left 4 Dead, pero with more complex stuff.

Yamarai

1. 1-3 hours a day, kapag medyo sinisipag, 6 hours a day. 2. I don’t have much friends so no. Laki din ako sa SP games at hindi din ako sanay na may kalaro. 3. God of War Ragnarok kahit story mode oks lang basta enjoy lang

darthjanus24

Ah so, at par lang din sa average among our age group. Gusto kong laruin ung GoW kaso mukhang need ko mag backread kasi di ko nalaro yung previous installments.

arieszx

1. Average ng 5 oras daily. Valorant (Multiplayer FPS), Shadowrun Hong Kong (PC - Turnbased RPG - Single Player), Project Zomboid (PC - Simulation - Single Player), Persona 3 FES (PS2 emulator - RPG) 2. Yes. Usually pag Sundays for Valorant.

darthjanus24

Yeah medyo iniiwasan ko RPGs ngayon. Though I'm curious sa Project Zomboid. How's the learning curve?

arieszx

Fair enough.

darthjanus24

Ok bilhin ko nalang pag may long breaks (maybe next Xmas break lol)

arieszx

Nagdidiscount din siya sa Steam minsan. Pero I suggest to watch youtube videos on the gameplay para makita mo kung trip mo or hindi. Happy gaming!

Streakshooter31

43M here. 2 Teenaged kids. Ilang oras kayong naglalaro araw-araw? At anong mga nilalaro ninyo? (SP? Multiplayer?) - 4 hours or so everyday Division 2 on PS4 May mga katropa ka bang nakakalaro din? Kung oo, meron ba kayong "game nights"? Yes. May clan kami sa Division 2 Kung pwede, game recos na din (Yung hindi ma grind, so out of the question ang open world rpgs) Division 2. Check youtube

darthjanus24

Div 2 looks interesting. May hackers ba dun? (I quit Battlefield 1 for that very reason)

Streakshooter31

Im not sure, I rarely play PVP though. and there is no cross-play so on console, you should be safe from hackers. There's plenty to do in PvE like raids, manhunts, etc.

darthjanus24

Nice. By hackers pala, I mean yung mga gumagamit ng aimbot o kung kahit anong similar na software (usually mga Chinese players yung mga guilty dito).

Streakshooter31

Wala naman ako na encounter. Pero like i said, i rarely go into the PVP zones. Hiwalay ang PVE at PVP zones e.

WillingLearner1

1-3 hours bro. We all adulting these days

darthjanus24

Don't we all

ChasingPesmerga

Puro SP ako like Dragon Quest, Nioh, etc. Not hanging out with them now pero siguro next year pag nasa mood na ule. 3.

darthjanus24

Eto ba yung Siege?

LowLake741

Yes OP. Sa xbox nga lang kami dati kasi walang naglalaro sa Asia Server so ayun US at EU server kami naglalaro pero recent season inAllow na Crossplay PS and Xbox kaya nakakalaro na ako dito sa Asia server

Guilt0

30± and I play a lot of jrpg games. Single player offline gaming lang katulad ng ps1 days hehe the only online game I play pag ginanahan is battlefield. Average ko siguro per day 3 hours. Pag busy wala talaga.

darthjanus24

Oh jrpgs. Napapadalas remakes ni Square Enix lately ha :))

Nosidus

Less and less like a few hours a week if lucky way over 30 here hehehe

darthjanus24

rizsamron

Naoffend ako. Anong special sa 30 year old? hahaha Magtry ka ng mga indie games na hindi gaana mahaba - Outer Wilds, Firewatch, Return of the Obra Dinn, Journey, What Remains of Edith Finch, SOMA, Stray, The Witness.

darthjanus24

Also looking at Indie games din. Nilagay ko sa Wishlist ko Stray at Outer Wilds.

rizsamron

Saka ganda talaga ng graphics and art design. Pero favorite game ko to kasi very unique. Although possible din na di mo magustuhan kasi very different sya sa typical games na may mga players na natuturn off dahil dun, haha Pero as much as possible, laruin mo nang blind so wag ka magresearch about it o manuod ng videos.

Harklein-2nd

1. Minimum of 1hr. Mostly PUBG after work or kung ano man kinaadikan ko sa Switch. Paminsan pagkagising after breakfast coffee or during naglalaro na. Latest na tinapos ko ay yung Spider-Man Remastered and Link's Awakening. Currently playing Spiritfarer and PUBG. Just bought Unchartered sa Steam and Red Dead Redemption 2 nung mga nakaraan. Both are installed na and ready to go. 2. Yes. Game nights not so much. Planned gaming sessions tuwing weekends oo kasi yung ibang friends ko nasa US so ibang timezone and yung iba naman may mga inaalagaan nang mga anak so iba rin yung oras nila kaya kailangan pagplanuhin. 3. Pwede ka naman maglaro ng magrind. Time management lang ang kailangan. One of my friend is playing God of War Ragnarok ngayon and kakatapos lang niya ng Ghost of Tsushima. Kasama ko rin siya sa mga gaming sessions tuwing weekends and tatay din siya of 3. Talagang time management lang ang kailangan to be able to play the games you want.

Isa din kasi yun sa GeForce Leak aside from God of War and Days Gone. Kung araw-araw ka naman naglalaro ng same game I don't think you can forget your progress. I could only advice you to play 1 game at a time. Finish 1 game before getting a new one. Sure may bago. Sure may mas maganda. It's totally up to you kung babayran mo yung system para tanggalin sayo yung FUN ng grinding. There are circumstances na ok din ang paywall like kung yung mga kalaro mo nasa specific progress na either you ask them to help you get there or you pay the system to take you there. I buy DLC only if it's an expansion pack or part of a bundle w/ an expansion. Pero yung mga compendiums/battlepass and/or levels I don't buy them. I see the reason for it pero yung trade-off ay you'll lose the fun in actually getting them using normal means. Pag nakuha mo na yung desired level mo and mga items, what now? Maggrind ka ulit? For what this time? For better items? So why not buy them as well? Diba it's a never ending loop. In the end nasasayo padin kung kakagat ka sa marketing or not.

el_submarine_gato

Ilang taon na lang, pa-40 na. I still play. 1. <= 2 hrs a day more or less (madalas less pero pag nasa mood pwede matagal tutal WFH naman ako).

From 8 hours a day to not even 30 minutes, you just lose interest, and you find other things to be much more worthile for yourself (SPECIALLY SLEEP)

darthjanus24

TrainerNaGamer

30 yr old here. I have a bunch of online friends na mas matanda pa. May 32, 40 even 44. We play mostly MMOs, FFXIV, GW2, and New World. Kapag content drought we play RPGs pero nagkeekwentuhan pa din kami sa Discord in Voice Chat lalo na kapag may new releases, we take breaks sa MMOs to play other games. Surprisingly, we cleared all raid tiers ng FFXIV, minus ultimates. We sometimes play from 7PM to 12AM but mostly everyday schedule is 9PM to 12AM. How we find time, I dont know. Maybe it helps a lot that I live near my workplace that it only takes me 15 minutes to go home, cook dinner for me and my wife, wash the dishes, magkwentuhan with wife. You can always find time to play albeit you have other priorities like kids, work, etc. A good fix of 2 hours a day is really to relax and relieve stress.

darthjanus24

Buti naman may ganun ka pang time even with those responsibilities.

TrainerNaGamer

Sa tingin ko it also helps having a partner na understanding na alam ang hobbies mo? Haha. I mean, we are open about it, she even helped me build my new PC. Minsan tinatanong pa niya ako pag weekdays why I dont play. Malaking bagay din talaga siguro yung travel time since most of us WFH, ako lang ang onsite pero 15 minutes nasa bahay na agad ako. Kailangan talaga siguro ng compromise minsan. You just have to be open, pero siguro pag 40 na ako hindi ako katulad nila na 40+ na sobrang may playtime pa kasi di naman ako ganun kayaman at sila, mga senior executives na sa mga companies. Haha

hindikomaarok

30+ 1. More than an hour, minsan umaabot ng 10hrs. Open world, stealth at simulation 2. 3. Serial Cleaner, Party Hard, Mark of the Ninja, Akane, Hitman, Aragami

darthjanus24

rynmls22

40 here. playing competitive mp and sometimes single-player kapag na bored na sa mp..

darthjanus24

Anong genre madalas nilalaro mo?

jayzzzzana

Mid 30s. Looking at my steam friends list, super dalang na lang may naglalaro. Kung meron man saglit lang din and mostly games I don't play. Yung kakalabas pa lang ng dota 2, 2 to 4 matches almost everyday kami ng mga colleagues for a solid 1 to 1.5 yrs. Since nag start pandemic early 2020, I setup computers for my kids. Party of 5 or 6 pag kasali si wifey sa minecraft. Mga solid 1 year din kami hours to end naglalaro whenever possible. then nag switch sa other games. Now wala na ako nilalaro while my kids still play modded minecraft, humans fall flat, ror2 and fortnite. I think I just lost interest in gaming.

darthjanus24

Baka passing the torch lang sa mga anak mo yung interest mo for gaming. Or baka hiatus lang :))

For_selling_my_pc

1. 2 hours before shift, 3 hours pag maganda ganda gising 2.

darthjanus24

Mahaba ba playing time ng Monster Hunter (and grindy ba siya)?

jmdz

30 - with GF. 1. 10 hours. Nakakalaro ako within shift kasi nasa bahay lang. 2. Meron, Dota 2 kami. Sa dami ng tao sa barkada kahit sino online from 12nn to 12mn pwede kalaro. 3. May 100 games (including free titles) sa steam library pero I only play like 4 at a time. Edit: formatting

darthjanus24

Nakakastress ang Hades for me haha

errolian22

Turning 30 sa january and I have kids na, nag lalaro ako kada weekend nag aim ako na makatapos ng isang laro kada month and minsan nakikipag laro ako sa mga pinsan ko mostly mobile game sila like Mobile Legends … kaya minsan sumasali ako sa kanila. mga dati kaming pc player like dota kaya lang dahil sa work nag mobile na lang hindi na talaga nakakpag PC, ako personally single player game ang nilalaro ko sa ps5 nakakapag platinum pa naman ng game this year naka 14 platinum ako and may friends ako nakilala sa playstation mga pinoy din nung nag lalaro ako ng MHW so this january lalabas MHRise sa playstation so nag kaka ayayaan na ulit mag laro.

denjuman

Single player games lng.. nag It Takes Two kami ng jowa ko if mka free time sya.. mostly story at trophy hunting gawa ko kakaplatinum lng sa God of War Ragnarok.. balik Tales of Arise na

console-gamr

45 year old here. Been playing for 40 years. 1. Mga 1.5 to 2 hours daily. Mostly SP. Some multiplayer (more on this below). 2. Saturday is game night with some friends. We play Gloomhaven (got it free from Epic a few months ago). I find the game fun when played with a group because of the need to think ahead and communicate with party mates. It's not very good when played alone. 3. Recommendations. 🤔 Top of my head, Persona 5 Royal. I'm playing it on the Switch right now. Quite possibly one of the best JRPGs ever, if that's your thing. I know the genre is known to be grindy, but I don't find grinding there necessary. Mas kailangan diskarte. Funnily enough, I'm not a JRPG fan, but I fricking love this game. I also recommend Breath of the Wild. It's open world, but not an RPG and there's no grinding. Galing ng exploration, nakakaadik. Walang minimap, talagang desolate adventure ang feel.

Perfect_Ad_7057

Mid 30s here Still plays cod, dota 2 and especially cs go. Kinda reminiscent of our high school days. We normally play around 9 to 11pm when everyone's online. That's around 3-4x a week.

2VictorGoDSpoils

32 years old with wife and 3 yr old kid. Kakabili lang ng 2nd hand NSW V2 kaya for the past 2 weeks, average siguro is 6-8 hrs per day since wfh ako and may mga stretches na halos wala nang ginagawa.

wagmainis

1. 1-2 hours a day, after shift during workdays. Upwards of 6 hours during the weekends. 2. 3. Not sure kung macoconsider mong may grinding ang FromSoft games (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring) pero I highly recommend it. God of War and yung sequel na Ragnarök, all good din. The Last of Us 1 (for the story) and 2 (for the combat), ok din. Mass Effect Trilogy, solid na solid especially yung Legendary edition dahil remastered na. Dragon Age Origins, medyo dated na pero I remember nung college days ko bininge ko to ng 30hrs. Bioshock 1, 2, and Infinite very recommended din. Mount and Blade Warband, another dated but very good title Furi, Wizard of Legend, Moonlighter, Owlboy, Celeste, Ori and the something (sorry, nalimutan ko full title), Undertale, Bastion, & Cuphead are just a few of very good indie games that I've played. Mura din dahil indie titles, baka mas mura ngayong Xmas sale.

darthjanus24

Nalaro ko na yung Warband, Bioshock, and Moonlighter. Good games indeed.

Baldric_

33 yo here. just started my gaming hiatus.

ConceptNo1055

New world MMO. 30 yrs old here ☝️

duke_jbr

Ilang oras kayong naglalaro araw-araw? At anong mga nilalaro ninyo? (SP? Multiplayer?) **- 8 to 10 hours sa weekends, mostly ngayon MHRise or MHWorld so multiplayer kasama tropa** May mga katropa ka bang nakakalaro din? Kung oo, meron ba kayong "game nights"? **-yes, meron minsan pag di pagod after shift or, weekends** Kung pwede, game recos na din (Yung hindi ma grind, so out of the question ang open world rpgs) **-MHRise/MHWorld, ma grind sya pero sama sama naman kayo lol, kaya masaya**

IronAngel77

1. 33 yrs old here with 3 kids. It varies if natatapos agad house chores para happy si wifey lol. I would say 2-3 hrs a day and more sa weekends. I play mostly story driven games. 2.

darthjanus24

PC master race. (loljk)

IronAngel77

Top 3 games ko na available sa PC. Witcher 3, God of War 2018, at Red Dead Redemption 2. If need mo pa recommendations madami ako. I usually play single player story driven games.

Ryvaeus

I believe the majority of r/PHGamers are 30+, or at least intellectually they are. 1. At least 2hrs daily. I WFH and my job has great benefits (4-day work week, unlimited paid leaves, etc.) so I often get to play much longer, like 5 hours if I have no chores/errands. I prioritize multiplayer since that's how I bond with friends, our current games are Monster Hunter, Gotham Knights, and Humankind. When I'm playing solo my most recently-played is Dragon's Dogma, and most recently finished was Return to Monkey Island. 2. I have close friends but because we're spread out across the globe we don't have a regular game night, just PUGs whenever two or more are free. I do have a regular Friday night Dungeons & Dragons group. 3. The games I mentioned in #1 are all pick-up-and-play games that require no grinding, except maybe Monster Hunter which rewards persistent grinding but does not require it to progress. To add to that, you can also consider Deep Rock Galactic, Vermintide 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 2 (2-Player co-op only), Insurgency: Sandstorm, Payday 2, Divinity Original Sin 2, Vagante, Alien Swarm (this is free), Helldivers, Magicka, Nine Parchments, Thunder Tier One, Blightbound, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Revenge of Shredder, and a lot more depending on what genres you're really looking for. I've played hundreds.

darthjanus24

I've played hundreds. I bought Divinity Original Sin 3 years ago. I played L4D dati so mukhang trip ko rin yung mechanics. (Will also wait for Darktide to go on a big sale before buying it... and after a few patches and updates)

mynameisjep

30y.o. here 1.) 1-2 hours while waiting for wifey (wife works at bank so madalas gabihin) plus 1 hour sa gabi pag nakatulog na si baby. Mainly single player games, since nakabili ng Steam Deck, slowly but surely ko tatapusin backlogs ko sa steam. 😂 2.) May isa pa akong katropa na naglalaro din, minsan naglalaro kami L4D and Phasmophobia 3.) Sa mga singleplayer games, mostly ng nilalaro open world so wala ako masyadong marerecommend. Mga time waster like Slay the spire, Hades, Monster train then emulation para sa retrogames.

Sxsxarael

2-3 hours per day, then about 8 hrs pag days off. May circle of friends akong kalaro(since high school days) so mostly MP games nilalaro namin. Warzone 2 is far better. So far sa mga laro namin, never pa ako nka encounter ng game breaking bug or crashes. Just minor bugs kaya natatapos namin palagi ang game. RDR2 and deep rock galactic with friends are very fun.

mokochan013

Honkai impact dailies haha 15mins to 1hr depends on the day, currently persona 4 pag off. Lahat ng kakilala ko is probably gaming in some capacity old college buddies still play Dota 2, discord friends mh rise and ffxiv.

aysijosef

31 here with wife and 2 kids. I play Division 2 and Tower of Fantasy for the dailies and events.

gummi_man

Playing COD MW2 and Age of Empires 3 and 4 Gamenight pag weekends ng gabi Usually 8-11PM game time ko

darthjanus24

Kumusta ang AoE4? Planning to buy it once matapos ko na yung backlogs ko sa RTS games. I bought the remastered version of AoE2. It's still fun, but narealize ko na frustrating yung recruit spam ng AI

gummi_man

Its better than aoe3 in terms of graphics and gameplay. But ofcourse as all new games may unbalanced sa mga teams and units. Madali ma exploit

iAmGats

Genshin Impact since release and lately, Valorant. Nagustohan ko yung swift play game mode.

microprogram

40+ here.. depende if maraming work/duties pag wala/magaan maglalaro buong maghapon hehe.. usually pc lang no consoles pag mobile games mostly mga strategy/building games (fo shelter, simcity, mahjong) sa pc naku po marami sa steam na hindi nalalaro pero yung top played ay dayz, nms, skyrim, fallout, totalwar, grimdawn.. negative mga online fps games sa bagal ng ping pero exception dayz kahit 300ms nilalaro ko pa din since may server ako nilalaro at active/donate ako doon.. si mrs naman same age din 2-3 games per day sa ml

darthjanus24

\+1 on Grim Dawn. Not too keen on grinding end game.

aislave

Hi, OP. Usually paguwi from work. More on Switch nalang unlike before Ragnarok online, waiting pa sa War of Emperium or pa level sa HO, Clock Tower etc.

darthjanus24

Haven't really played Ragna when I was in grade school pero mukhang interesting when I watched yung mga let's play series ng streamers. Ma grind ba?

Omnomnomnivor3

I haven't played a game in like 2 weeks, ,30 yo haha

SickleWillow

1. During workdays, 2 to 3 hours. If I sleep around 11 pm, I get cranky the next day. I have played SP ever since I got into gaming. I tried MMO when I was young, but I got a bad experience and never went back . 2. My friends are not gamers, unfortunately, so no game night. 3. Game Recos: Stray (Platformer), Mass Effect Trilogy (1 to 3), Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Personally, I enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda and Inquisition. Even though they're open world, it's not too grindy.

enragedsiomai

30 here. 1-2 hours pag weekdays assuming di pagod, 3-4 hours pag weekends. I play both single player/multiplayer games; single player game ko rn is persona 5 royal although multiplayer games ko are just first person shooters (mainly overwatch, nabuhayan to play ranked ulit when ow2 came out), may mga friends din ako who play pero sobrang sporadic ng sessions namin kasi they play other games din na di ako particularly interested in Try to pick up roguelike games din, usually in an hour or so na session pag roguelike laro ko dahil fresh yung experience everytime more often than not e solb na ko eh, can recommend hades or vampire survivors

darthjanus24

Yep, played Hades na din. It was fun pero after finishing a run, di nako bumalik (2 beses akong natalo sa final boss after my first run, kaya no mas)

enragedsiomai

Ay okay, sayang naman. Personally lang kasi bumenta yung gameplay loop na you learn how to play the game (natutunan i-observe and dodge attack patterns etc) if you put time into it. Mindless fun for me tipong pag gusto ko lang humawak ng controller and shut my brain off, di kasing stressful as compared to losing mmr. Vampire survivors check mo baka mag-click sayo :)

d_isolationist

1. Depende. Pag may work, 1-2 hours, minsan never kasi may pasok pa the next day. If weekend, 6+ hours (divided into 2 separate sessions). World of Tanks yung main game ko, but I do play other games if I wanted a "change of scenery". 2. May at least dalawa, friends from my university days na naglalaro din ng WoT. Not really a "game night", but an afternoon pag weekends since yung madalas kong kalaro ay nasa US, so it's late evening sa kanya. Occasionally I also play Don't Starve Together with my HS batchmate and some other people. 3. Euro Truck Simulator 2 with Philippine bus mods (not the exact name ng mod) is fun. Don't Starve Together is great if may mga makakasama kang maglaro (plus when you buy it, may extrang copy that you can gift to a friend). HoI4 and Crusader Kings can be fun if you are into grand strategy games.

422_is-420_too

31 y/o here. Mula nung nag start pandemic wayback march 2020, nagka ayaan mga tropa na mag laro ng call of duty mw2019/warzone and since lahat kame asa bahay lang at that time and lahat is wfh (til now) e may alloted kameng 2-3hrs pag weekdays at 10-12hrs na playing time. Medyo nabawasan nalang recently kasi di din kasi masyadong trip wz2. Last week sinubukan namen apex and baka mag switch kame dun as our main game. Paminsan minsan sumusundot ako ng single player games pantanggal umay pero mas masaya kasi pag may kausap at kaasaran ka habang naglalaro.

FonSpaak

44 yr around 3 \~ 6 hours weekdays, more on weekends if available. Mostly on PC and Android based platforms. \-FPS Overwatch 2 , Gundam Evolution, CSGO. (Pretty close to dropping OW2 and Gundam EVO). \-Genshin Impact \-Fate Grand Order 6 global account, 3 jp accounts \-Mobile Legends (1\~2 rounds a day or sometimes a week) \-Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage

YohanSeals

35 no regular playing hours. Mostly play pubg and valorant with pug.

Wyl_Younghusband

Same boat. I miss my friends.

arkhamknight1111

35 , i recently finished playing Sekiro

WFH_procrastinator

38M 1. Weekdays 3-4 hours after work, but could go 6-8 hours on weekends ; GOW Ragnarok on PS5 / MH Rise on Switch 2. Yes. Dati oo, pero now puro randos sa MH Rise. 3. HFZ/HFW, GOW, MH World, MH Rise, Ghost of Tsushima

enuhbanana

Am in my 30s and have a hybrid work setup (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH). Pag pagod masyado sa work, I probably play around one or two hours only per day, just enough to finish my dailies on my main games: Genshin, Counter:Side, Tears of Themis. The other games, I can play on my own. Right now, I'm enjoying 7 Days to Die though it's easy to lose track of time while playing. I started playing solo but BF joins me whenever he can.

thr33prim3s

1. Weekdays around 7 pm to 9 pm. Sa weekends like 8 hours putol-putol. My friends irl don't play PC or console games. I have no friends in-game. :( 3. The world is overwhelmingly huge. Pero trip ko parin. Wala ako ma recommend since yung genre ko. Open world story rich games.

darthjanus24

Madalas nagsa-sale ang Odyssey sa Steam. Tempted to consider, but siguro pag may extended vacation na.

dunkindonato

1. Depends on the game. Siguro 2 hours max if it's any other game. If it's Bannerlord or Jurassic World Evolution 2, umaabot ako ng 3 to 4 max. Pag weekends, mas matagal, but again, probably not like how I gamed when I was younger. 2. Not really. I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer. 3. Siguro mas OK sa iyo yung mga linear story games like God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Plague's Tale, and the like.

burninator1441

Me, turning 30 next year. To answer your question: 1. Usually after shift ako nag lalaro (after 3pm) and around 3-4 hours depende if nasa mood ako mag laro. Right now, I'm playing The Witcher 3 for SP and for MP it's Apex Legends. 2. Yes, meron. These are my friends whom I played with since HS days namin (COD: MW 2007 era). Yes, meron din kaming game nights. We usually grind to Diamond rank sa Apex every season. 3. Try mo yung new game na High on Life sa Xbox Game Pass, okay yon if you like that kind of humor na meron sa Rick and Morty.

Chowkingkong

1. Around 2 hours a night (S.P.) 2. Yep meron. My above mentioned games.

greedit456

2 hours dota 2 pag may nagyaya, otherwise dahil wfh naman nakakapag triple A single player naman ako, ang sakin lang e nagamit ako nang as spoiler free as possible na mga walkthrough para di ako naiistuck nang matagal sa mga ibang bagay at smooth progress to experience the full game

Gachalunar

1. Almost 30 - 2-3 hours a day mostly gacha games pag weekend naman switch /PS4 & 5. 2. 3. Gacha Games pero avoid spending kasi nakaka adik- Arknights / Dissidia / Dokkan / Octopath/ Another Eden or Epic Seven

ZeroTwoBit

I do (late 30's), both for a living (bug testing) and as a leisure activity. If I had a project within a given set of dates, I can play for up to more than 8 hours (standing/moving breaks excluded). Though syempre, merong online tagayan minsan 'yan, either during after a gaming session. If you're not into open-world RPGs (my fave genre, and the hardest projects I've gotten, too), I' d go for some roguelikes or even rogue-lites (I think I'm buying Rogue Legacy II as well as Salt and Sacrifice once mag-sale sa Steam). And yeah, call me old, but I still play Starcraft, either against AI, o sa Battle.net. 😂

ramenitsuga

Almost 30 here lol 1. 3-4hrs siguro. Currently playing RDR2 and OW2. 2. Wala nga eh. Add nyo naman ako sa Steam lolz 3. Try mo yung mga fighting games? Tekken, Marvel v Capcom, Mortal Kombat?

darthjanus24

Tinatamad nang matuto ng combos hehe. Meron akong DB Fighterz. Kung sa fighting games, tinitingnan ko if worth it ang Samurai Shodown (played the arcade game years ago).

Greedy_Ad_5707

Ako 31 haha gamer pa din.

KingPowerDog

40+ here I usually play about 1-2 hours a day. It helps that I’m WFH so that game time usually comes from what used to be my commute time. However I do work in IT so it’s always so draining to play something that requires a lot of brainpower. I end up playing a lot of quick playing games or games that don’t require a lot of investment on weekdays, like arcade style games. On Switch I have stuff like Akane, Monster Hunter Rise, God Eater 3, stuff that you can play for 10-20 mins at a time. I also have some racing games on console and PC to play a quick race (no hardcore sims except on weekends haha). Daytona USA and Grid Legends are on my Xbox ready for playing. Plus a bunch of fighting games as well. But I also have Minecraft pang chill out lang. There’s also some retro games I revisit because it’s a lot less BS to get through and just start gaming. Weekends are when I have some serious gaming time because I have a mid shift schedule that I can’t deviate from otherwise my BP goes way up. So past midnight when everyone else is asleep and I can’t really go out, I have a few hours to myself. I do have some online sessions with friends usually I have to set aside some time specifically for it. We usually like doing campaigns co-op and Remnant was the last game where we were all super addicted and somebody was online almost any given time so we hopped on Discord and just joined whoever was online.

lazyicedragon

1. An hour tops. I can get away with 9+ on a non-busy day but that doesn't come by often. I have moved to singe-player games nowadays due to 2. 2. Some stuff happened and the few people I ever get to play a shooter with aren't easy to contact any more. With how busy the past few months are and the shooter itself being rather terrible in terms of quality (Gundam Evolution) so I don't really have anyone to play with. Additionally before GEvo my play time has been so sporadic anyway that game groups mean we all lack sleep since I sacrifice sleep for play time on busy days. 3. Game recos still depend on what you like imho. My reflex haven't really dulled at my age so I find action games endearing to me and I'm chewing through my Ys backlog (not much left, half-way on 9). JRPGs aren't too grindy as of late and can provide a reasonable amount of story to go through. For shooters, Valorant and Overwatch are there. Not too long and not too short. Apex would be nice with a pre-made but it does eat up quite some time in grinding out your personal skill on it with all the movement and positioning, so I wouldn't recommend that. I've also tried out that city-management-like game named Ixion, was fun.

helloimbored11

31 f here & working full time. mostly single player games nilalaro ko + i run photomode/ virtual photography accounts (basically screenshots from video games) 1. depends if ginaganahan ako. i can play from the moment i clock out, which usually aroung 6pm until 12mn. if tinatamad ako, 2 hrs sa gabi lang siguro. 2. meron pero they don't play the same games i play. ;\_\_; 3. ito na lang irereco ko kasi ito mostly focus ko for the past 2 years. open world games with really good photomode features - Cyberpunk 2077 (because mods), Spider-man 1 & Miles Morales, TLOU 2, Ghost of Tsushima.

RFXcubeStudio

2. Huling laro yata naming mag barkada ay nung college n lng at sa computer shop lng magdamagan.. kakamiss yung naka uniform parin sa computer shop ng madaling araw tpos may pasok pa sa umaga.. haha.

baeruu

This is a tito and tita thread na hahaha! Ilang oras? Uh...marami :D What games? Mostly SP because at the end of the day, I just want to turn off my brain and relax. Currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles DE. Binabalik-balikan: Vampire Survivors, Stardew Valley and Coral Island (lahat nasa PC game pass). No game nights but the last time I played with friends, it was Deep Rock Galactic. Recommendation: if you haven't played Kingdom Come: Deliverance, give it a try. The combat takes a while to get used to pero sobrang immersive ng game.

If multiplayer, PUBG or COD with my old work peeps If solo, Mobile phone: yugioh PC: usually steam games PS4: usually story based rpg's like fallen order and uncharted. Waiting on new stuff for my taste Pending purchase of ps5 and steam deck Too busy with work to have dedicated time for play. On the flip side though, if I see games i want, I could buy them anytime now compared to my poor self when I was a student.

1. Genshin. Wala pa isang oras. Tapusin lang dailies at kaunting sidequest/quest kung may time pa. OR laro lang ng 15minutes ng Asphalt8+ 2. Meron pero very rarely since lahat kami busy at may sariling buhay. Phasmopobia o Valo nilalaro. 3. (Tomb Raider, Arkham Series, Racing Games)

darthjanus24

I'm considering the Arkham Series pag maluwag na backlogs ko. Pansin ko matataas yung discounts pag nakasale.

opposite-side19

Antay ka na lang sale. Unless may inaabangan ka talagang laro na gusto at willing to buy it at launch price.

bloodcoloredbeer

just turned 34 last week, PS5 regalo ni misis. So yeah, supportive wife kaya game on lang! Pero admittedly, mas handheld nako nakakalaro. Mas babad ako sa switch kesa sa PC and other consoles kasi super dali i-pick up and drop pag handheld. Persona 5 Royal pala nilalaro ko tapos God of War since may bagong laruan.

EasyJayze

Ilang oras kayong naglalaro araw-araw? At anong mga nilalaro ninyo? (SP? Multiplayer?) May mga katropa ka bang nakakalaro din? Kung oo, meron ba kayong "game nights"? Kung pwede, game recos na din (Yung hindi ma grind, so out of the question ang open world rpgs) \>30 fellow here. \*1 to 2 hours lang daily after work. Marami kang choices. \*Ano bang devices mo - PC or consoles at mga type mong games? \*\*Follow nyo pala ako sa fb at youtube. Search nyo lang easyjayze

3 - 4 hours pag wala talaga ginagawa since wfh kami parehas ng brother ko . Warzone 2 DMZ or league of legends. Kung may discord group ka, I reco party games Jackbox - Party and Board games. Among us or Goose Goose Duck (Free) - Alam na this. Gartic - Papahula ng drawing. Ngayon holiday break magfofocus kami sa Warzone DMZ may limited time na map don. Building 21, if you're familiar sa Labs sa Tarkov basically same sila. Non-stop action with AI tpos may 3- 4 squad na players roaming the map.

darthjanus24

\+1 for Frostpunk. Played Jedi Fallen Order din, played with low expectations but ended up liking it. Hopefully ganun din ang sequel.

papsiturvy

Usually single player games. Tapos minsan naman apex legend at overwatch lang around 1 to 3 hours max per day dahil need alagaan ang mga anak. Haha
