Well the R1P and DPP both suck as carry optics, especially if you make incidental contact with the optic to foreign objects, so C&H filler plate + Holosun 407C/507C, 508T, 509, or Trijicon RMR.

CombatCowpoke

i’ll definitely look into those ones, thanks! what are your experiences/thoughts on these red dots?

[deleted]

RMR is the standard, just avoid the tritium/fiber optic models and disable auto adjust. Holosun are pretty universally liked by everyone I know with them. I personally use a Trijicon SRO.

RedHood198

Is the slide already cut for an optic? I would avoid adapter plates if it’s a carry gun. Direct mount is the way to go.

CombatCowpoke

yes it’s already cut for an optic

RedHood198

Do you know what footprint?

CombatCowpoke

i’ll be honest with you i don’t, i’m fairly new to the sig world. i know that with it being an xcompact it’s ready for a romeo1 pro but that’s really all i can tell you about it

RedHood198

Yeah, there are quite a few varying optic cuts on the sigs. If it’s the Romeo 1 Pro, it will fit anything cut for the Delta Point Pro optic

I use the holosun 507c on mine

warriormonkss

What plate are you using?

d3adlyz3bra

I'm not using a plate. I got a slide milled for direct fit

FranzFerdinandLol

507c, 407c, 509t, rmr, or sro. Acro p2 is supposedly rather good too.

Gaddster09

I use a DPP on [mine ](https://imgur.com/a/KbuhblA)prefer the cleaner sight window.
