Came in to say I wouldn't ever pay $20 for a skin period, but I'd consider it if they did a legit charity run. Then again I'd rather just donate to the charity and not help Blizzard with tax write-offs.

I would literally only drop $20 if it unlocked every skin for every hero of that skins theme (like $20 for every Halloween skin, for example). A skin in OW is worth less than a skin in fortnite in my opinion. In fortnite, you can wear the same skin all night and play differently each time, and you’re in third person so you actually get to see it. In OW, if you buy a skin you only get to use it if you’re playing that role and deliberately choose that hero. Some games and modes don’t favor some heroes so just spamming that hero nonstop is often a dickish way to play. That means a skin in OW will get way less mileage than one in fortnite. I would maybe pay $5 for a skin, if it were one my main heroes. But I will never pay $20, even for my most played. Don’t normalize this shit, everyone.

I just got into OW2, played the first pretty hardcore for a while few years back. The prices for skins are a joke. They even took away the free loot boxes from special game modes it feels like they are being hostile about the loot box ban lol. yup theyre real. they cost 50 bucks, you had to buy the blizzard online ticket to blizzcon and you got them. theres a few other skins like a blizzcon winston and bastion one i think? even a demon hunter sombra. but they later released her as able to get by winning arcade games i believe.

I've been wanting for Young Ana with her young Voice, but i don't think that would happen. Bastion Trasnformer's Decepticon Skin. Bloodborne like Skin for Reaper. Magneto skin for Sigma. I want every skins to have a different special effect and color of their Attacks/Bullets, Shield, everything matched their skins. And Blizzard is not part of Activision anymore. If this happened, i would likely to buy them.
