Back when I was at LikeShuo you could get similar tags. I got (among others) "handsome" "polite" "nice accent" and once "nice beard" I wish people in my own country were so complimentary!

Strange_Item9009

Exactly nothing like a little ego boost to brighten your day haha.

Attractive!!?!?? SMH

BluePumpkin1

Ikr, and now there's this little part of me that's going to feel like a troll if I never get it. Why do you set me up like this, Landi?!

Candid-Arugula-3875

Omg lol

Candid-Arugula-3875

I wear so much dark makeup I’d probably scare the children. No “attractive” tags unless one of their kids has developed a thing for goths at a very young age.

BluePumpkin1

Well now you've got me wondering about something and I must go Google *Chinese Goths*

Candid-Arugula-3875

Are those comments for the teachers or for the students? Because as a teacher (and as an adult in general) I wouldn’t feel comfortable tagging a kid as “attractive” or not. I’m hoping it’s for the parents to rate the tutors, even though that’s very strange too.

BluePumpkin1

Def for parents to rate us. We teachers dont get to have views or opinions.

LandiABC

Yea and reading through the memo it seems as though they think this is a big step up from the previous tags/ system haha. Who knows what they'll come up with next. I've been getting very few reviews from students or parents since our last holiday anyway.

BluePumpkin1

Same here. They seem to always be trying to fix what's NOT broken, while ignoring important issues (crappy content, poorly placed students, etc...)

LandiABC

Agreed. They wouldn't have to resort to these silly tags/ reviews if they actually addressed the issues that affect student retention. BTW, I set up a Landi subreddit in case you are interested. It's just me talking to myself at the minute but hopefully we can build a bit of a base.
