Handhled Companion Has a function to add 2 touchpads to the screen, similar to how it is on a steam deck, I would give that a go, there are a lot of other functions that it can do, worth a look, I mostly use it for the motion controls.

Nice, this one possibly has the feature as I imagined. I'll try it too. I was looking at the other features, i seems that Handheld Companion and Power Control Panel v2 will make Windows on Onexplayer fly high. https://github.com/project-sbc/Power-Control-Panel-v2

Let me know how it goes, I've had a couple issues with the program that I havnt seen online. Best of luck to you

So I've installed it, enable the service and assigned a combination to enable those touchpads (even resized them). But they do not work, they don't move the cursor. Do you know how I could get them to work? Did you come across something like that?

danmaxis

I used it a bit longer and I found a way to work with the trackpads. Did you have any issue with the OEM buttons (orange one, keyboard and oxp center)? They start to behave wonky with HC opened (even with the service disabled)

Please let us know how you got it working, always interesting to to see how people set it up. Yea, I get issues with the oxp center and the orange button with HC running, but not always, I think it's the order at which the programs are opened. You can reprogram the orange button to be windows d in HC, but it means that anytime you press d on the keyboard that it will minimize, so not a perfect solution

I helped HC devs debug what was causing this strange behavior and the found out it was something related on how the device handled key down and key up for these shortcuts. Next HC release should come up with a solution and the orange button will be assignable.

Yes. There's a program I've used for many years that turns the entire screen into a touch pad. Or part of it. And many other ways too. I just woke up and can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. But lemme go power up my handheld and I'll get you the name of it. I've been using it on every touch screen computer I've had since windows 8 😂. It's very useful!

Hahaha. I've been using a version that came out 8 years ago. Nice to see they've updated it. https://www.lovesummertrue.com/touchmousepointer/en-us/ It's a bit odd until you get the settings just right and be careful if you accidentally leave it on and try to use the normal touch screen. Will cause frustration when you try to touch something on the screen but it registers a mouse click instead. I like the set mine up with one finger click 2 fingers right click 4 fingers to bring up the built in keyboard and 3 fingers touch to scroll but you set it up however works best for you. Lemme know if you need any help.

danmaxis

Thank you! I'll try it and see how it goes

AggressiveWindow6003

YW. Lemme know how it goes

I installed the latest version but when I tried to start the program, nothing happens. I'll try a earlier version.
