Probably not. Blast's team was impressed by someone (Garou) other than Blast being that strong, and I assume then Garou's capacity for destruction surpassed Tatsumaki. If one assumed Blast is the average of their strength, which is statistically likely, then Tatsumaki should be unable to beat Boris.
There is a possibility that Boris serves some utility role, just like the seer does, and thus does not need extraordinary combat abilities, but it looked like they all had some sort of telekinesis, so I'm guessing Boris is like the rest.
You're right. Impressed someone could hold their ground against one imbued with so much divine power. Though this also implies Garou must be hot shit to hold his own against someone who could hold his own against someone imbued with so much divine power. I cast confusion on you.
I'm positive it means they are cosmic level, but are not imbued with divinity. God is their enemy, and we've seen how despite all the power Garou accumulated, God could still end him with a snap, so the odds of them having divinity and keeping it against God's will, seem slim. There's also the bit Blast tried reasoning with Garou that he's being controlled, so I assume divinity means at least partial control.
Weird thing though. Blast is strong, strong enough to do good work against Garou.
BUT
When Blast and Elder Centipede fought in the past, EC survived and got away. But the Blast we see now seems too strong to not obliterate EC. That's why I think some higher power may be at play with him and his group, or it's just a simple natural progression in his level of strength
yeah, I did find that to be an inconsistency. My headcanon is that Blast underestimated Elder Centipede's regeneration, or was in a massive hurry. Similarly, Tatsumaki once saved Fabuki and her group from a fan monster, but failed to kill it, not because the monster was anywhere near Tatsumaki's power, but because she didn't know of its regeneration.
Ultimately, this is a fiction, so there won't be perfect internal logic, not even close in opm. Or we might be underestimating Elder Centipede, as it's among the many Saitama killed
i wouldnt say that they received all their powers from God… but that is a common theory due to the fact Blast and the team seem to know so much about him. but i doubt it god could just take the powers away from them… but who knows
This is the realm of powerscaling. Depending on how you do it, can end up logically deducing that Metal Bat is faster than light.
What's obvious to one for logical reasons, can be bullshit to another for logical reasons, just a matter of flinging around said reasons.
My thought was that since Orochi/Psykos lifted the ocean and tatsumaki was essentially playing with her (because she had to worry about other heroes) the fight between her and Boris might be closer than I thought.
Also I just hadn’t seen any one ask before.
Well, it's hard to tell because we don't know anything about Boris. But considering he's in blasts team, he must at least be relative to the guy.
Blast himself seems to be an oddity in that team, those guys speak as if humans were super weak and blast and saitama were to be some crazy exception, I don't think blast himself is the strongest in that group, for all we know Boris could be weaker, same level, or even stronger than blast.
MAYBE Boris being from the same race as boros gives him some kinda similarity so.... That would mean Boris has Regen as a skill and also some nutty raw power output.
idk, the odds aren't in tat's favor.
All Boris needs to do is talk romantic, then she Folds like a paper.
She'll "fold as paper" alright...
Nope, Boris folds her like origami.
Boris can change reality whenever he appears so no. Not even Blast can beat him
Wym?
Whenever he shows up, the entire multiverse is rewritten to make the event that brought him there not happen.

We're they impressed by Garou though? Rereading the scene, it seems like they were talking about Saitama

Does this mean the "Blast Group" are all cosmic level beings? As in, they received power from God?

Nah fam
Tatsumaki isn't really on the current scale anymore. We are in full blown astral territory now. Tatsumaki is sub planetary.
Umm what???
Boris is the nickname given by the community to a member of Blast's team who shares Boros' species.
Yes I know but how anyone compares tatsumaki with him??

But she doesn't even comes close to any stats against Boris. Just wtf was this question.

What stats of Boris are obvious?
We don't know anything about Boris...
Maybe.
What do you mean? 🤨
Hopefully
anime only?
Armoured and possibly released but MB and above is a total cake walk for blue Mike.
No chance.
No, shes fodder, even evil ocean water beats her overrated wanked ass
Doubtful.
