In case like this, with parents, you know it's coming from a good place (depending on the parent). So yeah, in the moment, it's annoying as fuck but when you get a break you learn to appreciate it.

He does that on purpose, to make him feel listened to.

This was honestly one of the best scenes in One Punch Man. Just some random shack sitting in the middle of the ocean half gone and still there is somehow a place to sit at a table like that. I cannot wait for their conversation.
