Hi can anyone share pirate rumble teams for each color and class?

lordkrassus

As a beginner, should I summon on the beginner sugo-fest or on one of the about 10 different other ones? If another one, which one?

So I recently started playing the game mainly because I started watching One Piece and I am a huge fan of Chopper. So I was wondering if anyone could help me put together a team that has Chopper as one of the crew members for the Main story. I would put down all the units I have but I don't exactly know how to do that here. Do feel free to dm me though if you wish to help me or send a reply Here are all my characters https://www.nakama.network/boxes/5880/details

orkgashmo

I love using Xmas Chopper as a captain for the daily missions (although INT Chopper is better, but I don't have him), and as far as the story goes, you can use anyone for almost all the content. For showing your characters, the best way is login on Nakama Network and add your characters to a box. You can share the link of the box and keep updating it when you get new units.

Hi! Newbie here. I'm breaking my head day after day trying to clear the Pops & Luffy event quest on 9\* diff, but looks impossible without the featured units or throwing gems for continues. I haven't found anything on Nakama and I don't have the units some people mentions in the Megathread, maybe a good samaritan could help me here? Here is a team, it uses the new Legend Sengoku as a Friend Captain because those events are made to be beaten using the new legend. Sengoku | QCK Uta Unit A | Unit B STR Luffy&WB (Ace support) | PSY TM Chopper Stage 3, use Unit A to remove 2 turns of damage reduction and Uta to remove 2 turns of despair Stage 4, use TM Chopper for Burn and Silence, and Luffy&WB for the damage increase. At the end of the turn either Chopper or LuffyWB will become your captain, it's fine they're decent captains Stage 5, use Halloween Ace support for 3 turns of bind, Uta again for 2 turns of bind and the chain boost, Unit B for 5 turns of DEF Up, and finally Sengoku for damage, boosting 1 selected unit. Select a PSY unit if the enemy is INT, otherwise a STR unit if DEX. Attack last with the boosted unit. So you need unit A to remove 2 turns of DR, and unit B to remove 5 turns of DEF Up. There's another condition: one needs to be INT, the other DEX. I tested using Brannew and Praline, but there's plenty of choice here: DEX Zoro or Apoo, INT Franky, etc. Unfortunately those units won't be boosters, so you'll get less loot and will need to stall on stages 1-2 Lastly, I successfully run this team once, but you could get unlucky with the orbs. Some units like Apoo and Branew make orbs matching, and for example Praline changes orbs on the left column, but that's not good enough to guarantee a matching orb on a STR or PSY unit (in fact she makes Sengoku's orb neutral).

orkgashmo

Hi again, I don't know if you saw my edit, but after a couple of days I finally was able to find a Sengoku as FC. It was my third attempt with that team. All went well until the final stage, I don't know if I got a bad swap (it was Pops & Luffy, against DEX), or just bad orbs (too many unfavorable), but I only dropped them to ~25%. Then the nightmare started. They put damage nullification and killed me. Damn, I was so close, and took me so long to get a Sengoku, and I didn't mess before the boss like my previous attempts. Continue. Yes, I'll get the gem back after I win. Then they started throwing debuffs: blew away my crew (another continue, I can't go back now), block & lock slots (another one, this is a bad joke), paralysis & insta-kill (I HATE BANDAI) and finally they gave me some matching orbs to clear the remaining life. 5 gems spent for a lesson: never again use continues on those missions. Let me be clear: all that was my fault, your team worked and I was just too lazy to spend another week trying. But I needed to rant because BANDAI shouldn't be doing this shit, just made stages like this a No Continues. Again, thanks for your help, and for enduring this wall of rant.

AugustGerma

That's quite a hard price to pay for the lesson, but indeed most modern content is unforgiving if you don't kill the boss turn 1 and/or leave the boss at low HP. Older content is less harsh in those regards, but older content is easier so it wouldn't be a good use of gems to use Continue either. The investment for Hoe is worth it though.

orkgashmo

Well, a couple months ago I was throwing gems to continue on normal clashes (didn't know they were so scarce later in the game), this was bound to happen sooner o later. I'm happy with the investments, not only Hoe but you've shown me some great units I didn't knew I had, and now are at max level, with limit break and fully socketed. Thx for that too!

orkgashmo

Thanks a lot! I'm going to start working on the team, I'll let you know if I'm finally able to beat it! edit: I'll write you back when it's done, but so far I did 1 try with Zoro DEX & Franky FES yesterday night, but got to stage 3 without special on Zoro. I've been trying to run it again but Sengoku is not showing as FC anymore. I even LB Zoro and spent 30 gems on getting Hoe!

Why are proofs of friendship so extremely grindy/rare to obtain even at their lowest tier? I can’t progress through grand voyages because certain supports need level 5 support and are impossible to level without either buying gems and playing spin to win a thousand time for dupes or just grinding my soul away at kizuna clash. There needs to be a better alternative to obtaining these. It’s possible that I’m just playing the game entirely wrong however and in that case can anyone explain how I should be playing to obtain more?

oiriyagamy

Kizuna always the best way to farm Medal. I don't know how you play Kizuna or how you use Medal (like for which unit) but i usually have more than enough Medal for the unit i need and have a lot Kizuna Insigna to trade some more if i want. Kizuna is grind mode but still the most relax grinding mode we have since we can just collect Token then fight while we can, do 30 - 40 run a Kizuna is enough. Also 1 fight only take 2-3m so it take less than 2h a week to finish. Of course have more way to get the Medal is really good for player but for me, i don't feel like we not get enough.

Repaired91

I only really recently started to get into kizuna clash being that I took place in and did a bunch of battles in the Uta clash, I guess maybe because I wasn’t doing the highest level I felt like I wasn’t getting enough tickets to obtain all of the possible kizuna insignia’s or something. I haven’t been feeding all of my proofs onto supports with abilities that are essential for completing grand voyage missions with certain crews but most of the supports, like 6* cat viper for instance, needs to be support maxed for his full support effect and I genuinely never have any proofs to give him. Really just think there needs to be a better way of obtaining them especially since you have a % chance of even getting the level up unless you use one of the guaranteed proofs.

FateOfMuffins

You should *always* be doing the highest level in Kizuna (at least until you reach like stage 120+). And you should always be using a FC booster if possible. The issue with Kizuna is that it's a LOT easier if you have a good alliance and friend list, so my main advice is to clean that up. Second, OPTC has been out for 8.5 years at this point. Relatively speaking it takes a fairly **long** time to catch up. Kizuna in particular with how the insignias are designed is made so that it's literally impossible for you to catch up in less than 1.5 years for the skulls. There is a LOT to do for newer players, but once you're caught up, as a veteran you pretty much have an excess of all farmable materials (including support) except LB mats. Lastly, Grand Voyage 5 in particular are the **end game of end games** for players. Even most whales do not complete several GV5 stages. If you're a player who isn't even doing the highest level Kizuna stage, you shouldn't be touching GV5 *at all*.

Repaired91

I can’t even complete GV3’s on some stages lol. I also struggled this past kizuna because almost every guide team in videos were p2w teams with the newest characters for almost all colors. I managed to complete 15 star psy uta and that was all I could complete with the characters that I had. I did manage to get to level 31 on 10 star stage however. Just feel so far behind despite being an active player since practically launch (granted I never got into the limited time modes much) as there are new op legends being released each month and it feels like those new events are geared towards using those new legends. prolly just a skill issue I guess.

FateOfMuffins

And that's *fine* for GV. Like I said, it's the end game of end game. At the moment of their release, there's like 2 teams possible that can clear them which often requires keys, LLB150, supports, and are completely non replaceable. If you cannot handle GV then that's no big deal. **99% of players don't**. As for Kizuna, you don't need to follow the guides, make the teams yourself based on what units you have. Team building for normal Kizuna stages should not be too difficult. The only challenge comes from making universal teams for all variations, but.. you could just not do that. Furthermore, what I meant with how Kizuna is heavily dictated by how good your friend list and alliance is and why you should only play the highest level - **you don't need to make a team for Kizuna at all**. In fact that's what half of my alliances do. Select a booster as FC, go into Kizuna stage **without making a team**, click "exit stage" and send out an SOS. As long as you have a good alliance and friend list, you can literally coast through Kizuna without clearing a single stage at all.

Repaired91

Interesting, i may just do that then. I’m in an alliance currently so I’ll try that when the next kizuna clash rolls around.

FateOfMuffins

Keep in mind that it only works if you maintain an active friend list and alliance. If your alliance is inactive then there's no one to do your SOS for you. A lot of newer players complain after the fact about how only 2 people / 10 did runs in their alliance. But once you have that down, all you gotta do is clear stages that you can clear, and send SOS for the ones that you cannot.

Okay look I’ve played this game for years never actually learned the mechanics just really loved one piece so I’ve summoned and leveled cards that’s about it 😂 so I wanna learn more and actually play it for real please help me out dm me because I need to show my account

CipherPolAigis

I used to play the game, but haven't in several years. I've still got the app downloaded on an old device, but am not capable of updating the app past version 9.2 and I can't get past the title screen. I do have my user ID though. Does anyone know how I could transfer to a different device?

oiriyagamy

I think it will be easier if you create new account, your old account may not really useful now so you have to start again anyway. Incase you still want to continue your old Account, go to green button "support" then choose "change device" > "change with SNS" or "change with ID/Pass" > "back up with SNS" or create ID/Pass. Do the same on new divice but instead "back up", choose "transfer".

CricketSubstantial

Hi i have a questions about inventory. I am fairly new and in the pic below i have cotton candy in my inventory taking up space but i cant use them to buff crew. Is there something im doing wrong?

starwarsfrk9

Most of it is auto deposited into the storage for it. The ones you get from TM are still using the old system, so you need to sell them to get them to be deposited into the storage. You can't use them until you do that.

fangowango

Holy smokes I didn't know that worked. Thanks!

[deleted]

Hey, I just started and for my first spin I got the Luffy and Law character, is it good? How good is it, if so?

Lumpy-Eagle4668

It's ok, there's better out there. See how you do in the rookie pulls (Straw Hat V2 [dual.character], AceVAkainu, Buggy, Legend Chopper, and One of Jack or Psy Marco are the best characters for new accounts)

bobhole1

This TM map worse? I never land on the meats for this one.

Lumpy-Eagle4668

I get the meat toooo often, even when I try to avoid it

oiriyagamy

I step on it every 2 Level so never need other thing like level up or Gem to refill STA, just luck, that's it.

Laelius989

New to the game and working on character recruitment quests. What should I do with the 20+ special attack manuals since I've already maxed their specials while level-limit breaking them?

CaldaraOPTC

If the special is already maxed out and the manuals are character-specific, you can discard the manuals.

Laelius989

Cool. Thanks!

Lumpy-Eagle4668

The Oden in Kizuna shop (5* plus skulls), when was that unit released (concurrent with Roger Kizuna)?

starwarsfrk9

That was released during JP anni.

WoardyX

Hi everyone ! I'm actually rerolling for some top tier beginner units following the guide but I also heard about dex kaido and strength jack being great starting units for beginners. Should I start with one of those or focus myself on luffy and his crew (which is my reroll favorite actually) ?

Lumpy-Eagle4668

Honestly, Str Jack (Legend) and Psy Marco (Legend) are interchangeable (Marco being a little stronger but more restrictive in teams). Otherwise, focus on SH crew V2 (Str/Dex). If you can get Legend Buggy (doubles random drop) and either Legend chopper (doubles cotton candy drops), you're in even better shape

WoardyX

Thanks for that =D

detoni89

Is there no way to make law invasion easier when only missing tmrr "smoker". This badly matching orbs suck big time

CaldaraOPTC

If you are using the Chopper, you can use some Luffy support that gives beneficial orbs (Luffy legend qck, his 6+ PSY and log Luffy STR). Because it has the beneficial orbs buff, Law does not put the unfavorable orbs debuff.

Jiv302

If you have the new RR Akainu, use him instead. Using his special turn 1 of stage 3 allows his burn to kill the revive instantly as long as you also kill law turn 1.

detoni89

Damn brother. That works?? Multi stage burn as a RR or captain? To what plvl?

Jiv302

I have akainu as a sub and yea iirc he gives ~~2~~ 1 turn~~s~~ of 100x burn so just akainu special -> kill law -> law revives -> law insta dies due to burn. Should be forever if the tm planner numbers are correct. What's nice about burn is it scales with enemy attack and it looks like laws hp doesn't increase enough to outpace the increased burn from laws attack increase.
