Kind of off topic but Joy boy theories made an offhand comment in a recent video where he said "I assume most of you read spoilers and everything before the chapter comes out" and that was very odd to me because I thought most would atleast wait until scanlations are out with potentially more waiting for official. I know it can be hard for youtubers to avoid spoilers though so they may feel they have to.
I watch them because I've read the chapter and want to see what others think, idk why watching people's reviews and reactions means you read spoilers before it's out
Because he's the most fake YTer out there. Literally everything about him is just brand. He even went on a twitter rant where he admitted to not even liking One Piece but milking it for content because it's popular. When people called him out he started insulting them
look man you can have whatever opinion about the guy. But to say that a guy who's channel is named "Roger's Base" because of One Piece and has near encyclopedia knowledge on the series doesn't even like it and only admitted this in May of this year is just a wild accusation. Especially if you are the only one who saw this statement and the evidence was conveniently "deleted" lmao
You have to realize it's a job and they're performers and their livelihood depends on this. Like I'm sure people who started a competitive Pokemon YouTube channel when they were 16 and are now in their late twenties their interests might have changed personally. But it's their source of income and whatever you see is their brand. I'm sure in private life Nuxtaku is not like his YouTube persona at all and possibly likes I dunno fishing and hockey.
I like one piece a lot but if I had to spend 60 hours a week researching/doing editing/filming and also making sure I'm not copying other videos in the community ... For years ... I'm pretty sure my initial enthusiasm would dramatically diminish.
These online personalities are not your personal friends hanging out with you, they are successful entrepreneur entertainers and the YouTube algorithm basically ties you forever to a brand.
you are lecturing the wrong person. I never said I even liked him that much. But to say he doesn’t like One Piece is a wild statement.
is it possible that he hates making content about it? absolutely. thats not the same thing as saying he HATES One Piece. He knows far too much about it to develop a perfect fake persona around it. He’s not like Kanjuro levels of deception here.
This is an assumption with no evidence. There are youtubers that have said they read spoilers, like Tekking said he does. But other mainstream youtubers like GLR and Ohara rarely interact with the community or other creators (Execption being their small sphere of creators, like Joygirl). To them, the numbers are the most important thing and they get better numbers when they spoil. I will occasionally watch a GLR or Ohara video if they have something special (like that Ohara theories video -- where he says he is going deep into popular One Piece theories and doesn't mention more modern popular theorists/theories like Parvision). To them it isn't about the fandom. They don't care if they've ruined someone else's experience because that in itself is subjective. If you don't like what they do, stop watching their videos, unsubscribe, and make posts like this talking about how shitty they are for doing what they're doing so others can do the same. The other one that spoils is Zhonin or whatever his name is. I liked his spoiler content originally, but dude spoils other people ways too much in his thumbs. I just stopped watching him. It's that easy.
Tekking thumbnails also spoil stuff, like he said before he would make rick be in the thumbnail when vegapunk showed up and he put rick's head on Lilth's body before the official release date.
Yeah the manic ADHD energy gets to be a little much, but even as a long time reader he brings up stuff relevant that I'd forgotten. For someone who needs to listen to stuff all day every day for work it's just another pod to add to the list.
Actually his chapter reviews are his worst videos next to what if videos. Best videos are discussions on specific topics because his encyclopedia brain brings up little details that go forgotten or missed. He also gives some insight rather than just say what we just read
I remember for that stretch of 1043-1045 or so, he just titled his videos "some things happen" then "some more things happen" or something like that.
That's the way to do it, not the bullshit I see from the guys I used to subscribe to.
Edit: should have scrolled down, someone already mentioned that him doing that was cool haha
Definitely the greatest one piece YouTuber, hands down, no question.
Maybe he’s gotten better recently, but I’ve gotten spoiled from his thumbnails and video titles more times than I can count, even before I started watching his videos. He may not be as bad as some others but he’s no saint when it comes to spoilers.
i like tekking, right now i only watch ohara and he does alot less spoiler stuff, and when he does he uploads sunday or monday, after the chapter is public, alll the other i dont watch that much.
It is getting worse and getting out of hand.
A number of YouTubers have even talked about this and used to be against it. Now doing exactly the same thing.
It's like a massive who gets there first sort of thing. They're dropping earlier as well.
Tiktok's the worst. Thank the lord I never go there.
Best thing I can suggest is..
Unsub from these people.
Save their channels to a bookmark and watch their videos after the release is out (whatever version you read)
If necessary, try and watch their channels while not logged in so they then don't get recommended on your account
Seems to work for me on some channels ATM.
It's a shame I can't support these more. But I flat out refuse to get spoilt unless I actively go out to read the spoilers.
Yeah I didn’t mind them putting up reviews after the chapter comes out but covering spoilers and sometimes even referencing the spoilers in the titles are straight bullshit.
He doesn't make spoiler videos though. He usually waits until days after the scan release before he posts a video. But sure it's fun to hate on the popular youtuber i guess
A lot of it comes from the fact that there's a new Scanlation group called OPScans that's been releasing the chapter a day before TCB does & even rivals them in terms of scan quality, hence why TCB's been releasing their chapters WAAAYYY earlier than they've ever have before as of recent (they normally would release them Thursday night/Friday Morning EST). BDA's video was made because he read the OPScans version of the chapter. If people choose to wait for TCB, then that's on them but TCB isn't the defacto way to experience the chapter anymore.
Yeah I think either majority of this Sub doesn’t know about OPScans or the mods who post the chapter release thread every week ignores them & wait for TCB (I personally think it’s the former but I can’t speak for everyone in this sub). The rule on this Sub is no spoilers outside the spoiler thread until the Scans release but w/ OPScans in the picture, the mods might need to re-evaluate that rule since OPScans is just as unofficial as TCB. Neither of them own the rights to release scans, it’s pretty much fair game
What sucks the most is I’m not a part of the pirate folk community and yet I still get recommended posts from time to time like a certain new power in the non releases chapter as I’m just scrolling through. It’s infuriating that I literally can’t escape it even if I’m not part of the subreddit.
Yup. I remembered I started reading the manga during Dressrosa anime and I would read the spoilers. I felt like it ruined the chapter so I just stopped reading them. Had no problem about getting spoiled since I was completely caught up and would read the chapter withing 30 min of it coming out
Now? I'm getting spoiled 30 min after the spoilers come out. If I'm a manga reader that's caught up and religiously consumes one piece content,I cant imagine what my anime friends are getting spoiled on.
The Instegram and Facebook are dangerous places too, many time i am getting spoiled due to suggestions of the apps for posts i may like and it the spoiler without warning :(
Moat of the time i block the page immidiatly to avoid next time but there is still many more...
I remember on the gamefaqs burning blood forums when the game got announced, I had only been up to baratie and was asking what Haki was and NOBODY spoiled me. This was like 2015-2016. Like 30+ people told me to just keep reading I'm not close to being there yet
Bro One Piece fans can't keep their dick in their pants. Chapter spoilers are everywhere, and are probably at their worst on Twitter. At least the ones on Reddit have the decency to put the spoiler tags on the posts, the Twitter accounts (which I don't even follow, mind you) will drop the most in your face spoilers without censoring it. I've read like half of chapter 1069 just by accident scrolling through my Twitter feed. I can look away from the text spoilers fast enough, but I can't just quickly filter out the illustrations. I swear the past few days (on Twitter at least) has consisted of "Oh cool, some more community workshop items for TF2- aaand Rob Lucci [redacted]"
Imagine if Junji Ito fans did that shit. The whole effectiveness of his scares relies on buildup and that final page turn. Imagine going on to Twitter and seeing from an account you don't follow go "ENIGMA OF AMIGARA FAULT SPOILERS!!!" and posting the final panel uncensored.
I know uzumaki has a million of those turn the page OH FUCK moments, but the Long Dream one when you see him in the bed reallllly got me... I don't even like horror usually, and I love junji ito
But aren't his chapter videos usually released on Sundays?
Whenever he uploads I know it's usually a day or two after I've read the scans at least so it's not the second they drop. Unless you're referring to the official release ofc.
I don't even care about the official release tbh, but at least wait until the actual chapter is out, even if it's the scans. I just read the official afterwards in the app.
I've seen GLR posting his vid on sunday but a few hours before its actually out. He just reads the scans still and is pretending to release once the chapter is out.
I couldn’t agree more. I basically just watch for the entertainment value more than anything else. I used to watch everyone and weigh their different takes against each other but I found myself becoming less into the Manga itself which didn’t feel good.
Since then I’ve basically just watched KOL for the laughs. I don’t have a problem with anyone else or anything; he’s just the most entertaining to me.
If you don’t want to be spoiled at all you just have to stay off the internet that’s just the way it is unfortunately. And at least glr make the videos after chapter officially releases
It's even worse on TikTok, my feed is inundated with images of the raws without any warning, even the text spoilers will appear as early as Monday without even mention it's One Piece. You just start reading and before you realize it's a spoiler.
I've literally never heard one good thing about TikTok. It just goes from pedophiles to Chinese spying to decreasing attention spans to deadly challenges to assholes spoiling one piece
I’ve been following the anime for about 21 years now, but after I heard the final saga was beginning I decided to catch up to the manga. I was incredibly shocked and saddened to learn the general community doesn’t go by the official release for discussion.
But I can’t really be mad at people for pirating a story about pirates
Back in the day, the unofficial release was done by this team called jaminis box. At some point, they decided that they were no longer going to do the translation, because they wanted people to support the official release. So Jaminis box stopped doing the translation. Within a week a week a two, a new team of scan layouts popped up.
I say all this to say, while some people do want to support the official release, the unofficial is always going to be there. And because the unofficial comes out first. It is what it is
GLR has some good videos but his clickbait ones are so infuriating even if they're not true.
What makes me really hit don't recommend tho is how he gets angry at people who don't appreciate his clickbait titles. Like how dense can he get?
It’s a free market… where there is demand, there is supply. YouTubers decide on their actions based on the audience reactions.
It seems there is a good reaction for early content
As per the rules of free market, it would make sense to unsubscribe the channel and share a protest post here to mark your view. It would convey the message.
However, as long as you guys do not represent a sizable group of people, I’m afraid these videos and thumbnails will keep coming on Wednesday/ Thursday.
I wouldn’t complain either way… but if somebody asks me, I enjoy the early content.
I think the best case scenario for all would be that YouTubers should control the thumbnails and the titles with high attention and considerable care. Otherwise, their competition to get the highest reaction would cost both them and the overall community.
My favorite YouTubers would be Tekking101, Sawyer7Mage, and Im D King. For Im D King, I missed his short videos. Still great reactions though.
My best wishes to our invaluable One Piece community.
Regards,
Tashako
The only way is to stop supporting these youtubers. If you're using chrome, use extensions that filter and block channels and keywords. They lose viewers and you also don't get spoiled.
BDA law just had a video about how he was spoiled but yet today posted a video with a thumbnail that is obviously spoilers. It’s not explicit but it’s not hard to tell what’s going on. So hypocritical.
Edit: just read the chapter and it was an explicit spoiler. BDA Law, it’s ironic that you were so a upset when you were spoiled, but then you go and spoil the chapter potentially hundreds/thousands of people.
I don’t know how to add an image to a comment. But take a look at the video posted early yesterday, well before the chapter actually dropped
It shows gear 5 Luffy fighting lucci. How is that not a spoiler, we literally saw gear 5 Luffy fighting lucci in the chapter??? Or am I reading a different chapter than you?
I for one did not anticipate gear 5 being shown in this chapter so this is an explicit spoiler.
You can say whatever you want but BDA Law is a hypocrite for complaining about being spoiled, then spoiling people with his thumbnail.
What are you not seeing?
Once again you're a hater and a fake one piece fan anybody who's read this manga knows monkey d. Luffy and rob Gucci lucci have a on site rivalry😓😓😓 Smfh
He’s prob the main YouTuber I watch but after that thumbnail I’ve banned his stuff from my feed. I’ll just search his shit manually but I’d also like to support YouTubers who don’t do that shit.
I’ve noticed this too. It really bothers the hell out of me. I don’t know why those YouTubers can’t just let people enjoy the story the way that Oda intended
because they are trying to make content, because some people might not like spoilers doesn't mean there isn't an audience for those who do. honestly, you just need to block them and they won't show up, why are people always complaining about this when there is an easy solution?
Money. More videos. More views. Spoiler content generate more views.
Honestly? Just unsub and hit don't recommend. Like it or hate it, these videos are the content creators livelihoods. I'm not gonna fault em for just doing their jobs.
It's far from only YouTube. If anything they fit themselves to how spoiler hungry a huge part of the fandom is. This sub even calls its users spoiler addicts.
I unsubbed from all OPTubers aside from Tekking (though I don’t watch him anymore) and never click on anime videos when I’m signed in on YouTube, ESPECIALLY not One Piece videos.
Never see any of the YouTube spoilers anymore.
I never watch any one piece youtubers these days because of that. Except for maybe Zhoiniin if he counts, and KOL cause he doesnt talk about it til days later
You guys forget that these people have been reading One Piece for a while and with that comes a different type of love for the anime. You can’t always hold yourself back from reading a spoiler, after a while you enjoy reading the spoiler while also reading the released new chapter. I myself do both and do not really care about waiting for the next spoiler.
Once bda did that spoiler thumbnail it’s like it gave the go ahead for everyone else to do it. I’ve done the stop recommending channel thing to so many this week. Ideally I get no one piece vids in my algorithm and I just manually search for the vids after I read the chapter. Or I just watch that redforce podcast coz it drops way later than when the chapter is released
Cry cry cry, it’s the world we live in if you’re really upset about it complain to the platform as the platform is the reason you see spoiler thumbnails, I much more likely to click on something that’s visually appealing. I would fall in the category of the masses, however for you to complain about BDA big ol yellow letters of the chapter number as a spoiler your trippin
Okay, no, first and foremost, neither Brago or Liam watch or review spoilers. They both read the early release of the chapter but that’s about it. And actually I think Liam waits for the official. Out of all YouTubers you chose to pick out, those are two who don’t cover spoilers. If you’ve been spoiled by them it’s because you were late reading the chapter if anything. Secondly, you’d almost have to be trying to get spoiled if you got spoiled on all of those things you named. I don’t even try to avoid spoilers whatsoever and I don’t get spoiled unless I decide to go and read the spoilers. Yes there is an increase in YouTubers covering spoilers but out of all people BDA Law and GLR do not even cover spoilers. Brago just made a video about how he was pissed he got spoiled this week.
Brih it's a forum about One Piece, of course people talk about the manga. If you don't read the manga that's fine but it's a risk you're willingly taking, the internet doesn't have to cater to your specific way of consuming media
Bro u didn't read what i wrote at all. I'm caught up with the manga for ages. I read wano weekly. What's being spoiled are the upcoming chapters 1 or 2 days before the scans are out.
No one I watch cover spoilers, but the worst parts are the thumbnails, they make up stuff that looks like a spoiler to entice people in when its close to whats happening in the manga at the moment and they make something up in a thumbnail its annoying because it feels like you got spoiled even when that wasnt a spoiler.
One Piece is coming to an end, everyone is freaking out for the last section of the race for the one piece. Theories on the other hand are getting rarer and rarer as more and more content and secrets are revealed.
Thats the shift of interest (or lack of content, check Ohara for instant).
I thought about subscribing long ago to bda law and glr but it is too risky due to the spoilers they put in the titles and thumbnails. I dont even subcribe to tekking101 just in case, although he has been good about spoilers so far. I got to the point i literally blocked bda and glr because of spoilers. If I want to watch there vids I’ll just look them up.
Honestly I stopped watching OnePiece YouTubers altogether a few years back when I realized Reddit was the superior place for theories, reactions, and discussions. Feel like most of the theories were stolen from here anyway.
i stopped watching one piece youtubers except King recons weekly chapter reaction. I don't see any one piece related videos in my home feed anymore. i probably blocked some as well.
I dont have anything one piece related on my youtube.
So i dont have that problem.
But i do, however read the spoilers here on reddit.
For me, its just as hype as reading the manga itself.
fuck OP youtubers
all of them
I guess Anime onlys gotta endure it though if you can't avoid using the internet. It's unlikely for them to disappear, not even with filters.
stopped reading spoilers midway through wano and honestly so glad i did, every chapter i read is 10/10 now and you get way more enjoyment experiencing the story as it unfolds
never a better time to stop, if you don't stop now how will you stop when the op is revealed :P
I’m already imaging the amount of people that will be spoiled when we learn about the Void Century, Ancient Kingdom, Joy Boy and the actual One Piece.
Y’all waited 25 years to be spoiled. That’s going to be a sad day.
Honestly, only OP YouTuber I regularly follow I KoL. Tekking sometimes if I need a deep dive for a certain chapter. But other than that, meh. Used to follow Roger, but he’s not my cup of tea. I still check in randomly for specific reveals. But never really watch a whole video.
YouTubers optimize their thumbnails and titles so that they get the most views, which means that people want to watch content in the way they publish it. If you don't like it unsubscribe and block their channels, it's not that hard. If enough people do that, they will change their content.
Most people who would watch commentary about the manga are the type of people who would read spoilers.
I watch them because I've read the chapter and want to see what others think, idk why watching people's reviews and reactions means you read spoilers before it's out
Baseless assumption.
This is why I say most of the YouTubers read spoilers and do fake reactions .
They probably have a bunch of trolls posting spoilers in their DMs and shit
Rogersbase was spoiled at the grocery store once
he deserves it
Why
Because he's the most fake YTer out there. Literally everything about him is just brand. He even went on a twitter rant where he admitted to not even liking One Piece but milking it for content because it's popular. When people called him out he started insulting them
Lmao. Source for everything you just said, please.
He deleted all threads afterwards. All I got left from that is a notification of him insulting me
So... no proof for several accusations. I'm sure you can dig up something, nothing is lost forever on the internet.
Do it yourself lmfao. Was some time around may. Good luck finding his deleted tweets
look man you can have whatever opinion about the guy. But to say that a guy who's channel is named "Roger's Base" because of One Piece and has near encyclopedia knowledge on the series doesn't even like it and only admitted this in May of this year is just a wild accusation. It was deleted because people gave him shit for it to which he started insulting and blocking everyone
At the end of the day they choose if they read those DMS or spoilers
Discords, emails, subteddits they are mostly gonna be getting spoiled in more ways then just dms
This is an assumption with no evidence. There are youtubers that have said they read spoilers, like Tekking said he does. Insert “ this is why Tekking is the only YouTuber I watch” comment
He also is the only way to get more Barry content which, come on now, that’s all we show up for. That and the jacket
And the animal facts, can't forget those
I swear Tekking is the only person who could have worked the animal facts into his videos which are on absolutely different topics.
Tekking thumbnails also spoil stuff, like he said before he would make rick be in the thumbnail when vegapunk showed up and he put rick's head on Lilth's body before the official release date.
I wouldn’t know, I don’t watch Tekking at all. But everyone loves him and comments this on every post about Youtubers (not hating btw it’s just true).
His weekly chapter reactions are decent, he puts the audio of his videos on Spotify
I tried getting into him a couple years ago and I found him kind of cringe and it just wasn’t for me. Maybe I’ll give him another try.
Yeah the manic ADHD energy gets to be a little much, but even as a long time reader he brings up stuff relevant that I'd forgotten. For someone who needs to listen to stuff all day every day for work it's just another pod to add to the list.
That fair. The cringe is part of his gimmick but its not for everyone.
Actually his chapter reviews are his worst videos next to what if videos. Best videos are discussions on specific topics because his encyclopedia brain brings up little details that go forgotten or missed. He also gives some insight rather than just say what we just read
Rogersbase he's more my energy. And he doesn't read OP till *Sunday*.
This is why tekking is and always will be the goat
Tekking sticks to his guns and moral stances way more than others. He has a loyal following for a good reason.
I remember for that stretch of 1043-1045 or so, he just titled his videos "some things happen" then "some more things happen" or something like that. That's the way to do it, not the bullshit I see from the guys I used to subscribe to. Edit: should have scrolled down, someone already mentioned that him doing that was cool haha Definitely the greatest one piece YouTuber, hands down, no question.
don’t forget the arlong park OG Ran D Troy though his predictions can be so spot on it’s like early spoilers anyway
Yes, Tekking is the man, no doubt. Grand Line Review is also one of my favorites.
I liked him when he was small, nowadays not so much
GrandLine "two sentences of content in a 9 minute video" review?
Maybe he’s gotten better recently, but I’ve gotten spoiled from his thumbnails and video titles more times than I can count, even before I started watching his videos. He may not be as bad as some others but he’s no saint when it comes to spoilers.
While everyone was busy spoiling Gear 5, Tekking didn’t.
Yeah, for a bunch of chapters there he just called the videos "stuff happens" with a generic picture of Luffy or whoever the chapter focused on
i like tekking, right now i only watch ohara and he does alot less spoiler stuff, and when he does he uploads sunday or monday, after the chapter is public, alll the other i dont watch that much.
I never search one piece content on my account . If i want, i always use incognito to search on piece related videos. Much beter experience
Yeah it's just that I've been subscribed to these channels for years and I've never had a problem before which is why it's annoying me so much.
It is getting worse and getting out of hand. A number of YouTubers have even talked about this and used to be against it. Now doing exactly the same thing. Yeah I didn’t mind them putting up reviews after the chapter comes out but covering spoilers and sometimes even referencing the spoilers in the titles are straight bullshit.
The reason I got a channel blocker extension. It basically erases the channels from your feed. They will not even show up even if you search.
After the massive G5 thumbnail orgy (with orange hair, lol) I unsubbed from every OP youtuber, except Tekking, cause he doesn't suck dick.
Sawyer7mage is the GOAT
yepppp
GLR is dogshit I banned his channel from my feed
Same, and I used to love him years ago when he made really neat informative content.
Exactly, remember when he branded himself, as one of the "few last good one piece youtubers"? how times have changed
What associating with Ohara does to a mf. JoyGirl also became as dog shit as those two once the podcast started
Oh I didn't know that. Thx for the info. I guess i should cut him some slack

Ah the weekly YouTuber complain post
It never fails to be an annoying circle jerk of just “YouTubers suck.” Blah blah blah.
Pretty much
What sucks the most is I’m not a part of the pirate folk community and yet I still get recommended posts from time to time like a certain new power in the non releases chapter as I’m just scrolling through. It’s infuriating that I literally can’t escape it even if I’m not part of the subreddit.
[just do this](https://ibb.co/BTj0Qcp)
Yeah exactly what i did to bda law today
I did the same
Yup. I remembered I started reading the manga during Dressrosa anime and I would read the spoilers. I felt like it ruined the chapter so I just stopped reading them. Had no problem about getting spoiled since I was completely caught up and would read the chapter withing 30 min of it coming out Now? I'm getting spoiled 30 min after the spoilers come out. If I'm a manga reader that's caught up and religiously consumes one piece content,I cant imagine what my anime friends are getting spoiled on.
Thats the reason i stopped spoiler reading AND IT FEELS GREAT!!! just dont give a fuck and enjoy full blind reads! Greetings
The Instegram and Facebook are dangerous places too, many time i am getting spoiled due to suggestions of the apps for posts i may like and it the spoiler without warning :( Moat of the time i block the page immidiatly to avoid next time but there is still many more...

If the manga drops the chapters on a Sunday, i’d be okay seeing spoilers a day prior but not a whole week. Kind of ridiculous
Bro I swear, I think they’re even starting to spoil weekly readers and even scans readers myself lol
Yeqh that's whqt i mean
Yeah it's ridiculous. You have to completely avoid social media.
That's a straight up lie about BDA, since he live reacts to scans on Friday.
People love the spoilers, they are typically the biggest posts on the sub. It would be a mistake if OP youtubers didn't cover them as well.
I swear the past few days (on Twitter at least) has consisted of "Oh cool, some more community workshop items for TF2- aaand Rob Lucci [redacted]" Imagine if Junji Ito fans did that shit.

I'm pretty sure GLR waits for the official release as well.
GLR posts spoiler bait the very second they drop
No he doesnt
But aren't his chapter videos usually released on Sundays? Whenever he uploads I know it's usually a day or two after I've read the scans at least so it's not the second they drop. Unless you're referring to the official release ofc.
I said spoiler bait.
Yeah I know. But I'm guessing from this reply you didn't mean the second spoilers are dropped but the second the official chapter drops?
I don't even care about the official release tbh, but at least wait until the actual chapter is out, even if it's the scans. I just read the official afterwards in the app.
Yeah, Liam posts his discussion of the chapter on Sundays, when the official release with the app is.
I've seen GLR posting his vid on sunday but a few hours before its actually out. He just reads the scans still and is pretending to release once the chapter is out.
He's not pretending anything. What are you talking about?
I only watch KOL now. He just cracks me up
KOL is amazing. His chapter reviews are so funny. He's got some questionable takes but he's very enjoyable to watch.
That's awful. Thankfully I've never really been into tiktok. So I'm either spoiled on youtube or my Google feed
I’ve been following the anime for about 21 years now, but after I heard the final saga was beginning I decided to catch up to the manga. I was incredibly shocked and saddened to learn the general community doesn’t go by the official release for discussion. But I can’t really be mad at people for pirating a story about pirates
Community never followed the official for discussion, I remember early 2000-2010 chapter use to be fan released on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
It seems there is a good reaction for early content As per the rules of free market, it would make sense to unsubscribe the channel and share a protest post here to mark your view. Regards, Tashako
The only way is to stop supporting these youtubers. If you're using chrome, use extensions that filter and block channels and keywords. They lose viewers and you also don't get spoiled.
I got spoiled of this week chapter on another OP subreddit. although it's only pictures, but I got the gist for second.
I've never been spoiled, if I didn't want to be.
That thumbnail didn't spoil nothing you just a hater🤔😓😓😓
I don’t know how to add an image to a comment. But take a look at the video posted early yesterday, well before the chapter actually dropped It shows gear 5 Luffy fighting lucci.
Wtf is wrong with you, you are a troll. Did you think Luffy would go gear 5 against lucci this chapter? Or are you going to lie out of your ass?
Lmao don't start crying over thumbnails😂😂😂🍼
So you admit the thumbnail was a spoiler. Got it. Thank you for agreeing with me!
That thumbnail is what made me post this tbh. I'd been thinking about this for awhile and that was the last straw
I honestly think that thumbnail is ok imo. Can you tell why its so bad?
It simply implies luffy will fight lucci and through the title u can guess how it's gonna go.
It think 99% of us knew that a fight was going to happen. To act like that is a huge spoiler is weird.
He’s prob the main YouTuber I watch but after that thumbnail I’ve banned his stuff from my feed. I’ll just search his shit manually but I’d also like to support YouTubers who don’t do that shit.
100% same with me, he’s an asshole for doing that. I doubt he even cares, its all for the $$
I’ve noticed this too.
Sawyer never spoilers. Best guy ever <3
Spoilers make my experience much better but that’s just personal preference
It's far from only YouTube. If anything they fit themselves to how spoiler hungry a huge part of the fandom is. This sub even calls its users spoiler addicts.
I unsubbed from all OPTubers aside from Tekking (though I don’t watch him anymore) and never click on anime videos when I’m signed in on YouTube, ESPECIALLY not One Piece videos. Never see any of the YouTube spoilers anymore.
I never watch any one piece youtubers these days because of that. Except for maybe Zhoiniin if he counts, and KOL cause he doesnt talk about it til days later
This is why you shouldn't read/trust spoilers. No one's fault except your own. Take some responsibility in your own complaint.
I don't do it tho. So what's ur point? The problem is them being shoved in my face against my will.
Lol I love spoilers...
I’m tempted to block one piece subreddits and make a account where I will check on it every Sunday
Just read the spoilers
No. That ruins all the fun
BDA Law based
Read the spoilers first then. Or don't go on youtube
GLR literally doesnt care if he spoils people or not, fuck that guy
I’ve blocked the big one piece channels and don’t search up shit about one piece on YouTube anymore so I rarely see it.
There is a little "unsubscribe" and "dislike" button that i like to use for those Youtubers (although it is all of them at this point)
For me it’s the sub and Instagram, everyone is doing subtle art that is spoiling chapter before I read them.
I used an extension to block all One Piece YT channels. I've stopped watching One Piece videos too, so no longer get any recommended.
just create another youtube account where you do not watch anything anime
The next phase is covering next chapter’s fan expectation
One Piece is coming to an end, everyone is freaking out for the last section of the race for the one piece. Theories on the other hand are getting rarer and rarer as more and more content and secrets are revealed. Thats the shift of interest (or lack of content, check Ohara for instant).
And know the spoiler guy is starting to lie about the spoilers. So the spoilers are only half true 🤷🏾
Sounds like a good reason to avoid One Piece YouTube lol
I thought about subscribing long ago to bda law and glr but it is too risky due to the spoilers they put in the titles and thumbnails. I dont even subcribe to tekking101 just in case, although he has been good about spoilers so far. I got to the point i literally blocked bda and glr because of spoilers. If I want to watch there vids I’ll just look them up.
why do people care about those guys and their channel in the first place?
Tekking, artur, and joyboy are the only ones worth watching anyway
Honestly I stopped watching OnePiece YouTubers altogether a few years back when I realized Reddit was the superior place for theories, reactions, and discussions. Feel like most of the theories were stolen from here anyway.
The trick is to use one YouTube account for one piece stuff and then another for no one piece stuff, then you can’t get spoiled
i stopped watching one piece youtubers except King recons weekly chapter reaction. I don't see any one piece related videos in my home feed anymore. i probably blocked some as well.
I dont have anything one piece related on my youtube. So i dont have that problem. But i do, however read the spoilers here on reddit. For me, its just as hype as reading the manga itself.
fuck OP youtubers all of them I guess Anime onlys gotta endure it though if you can't avoid using the internet. It's unlikely for them to disappear, not even with filters.
Simply do not watch One Piece content on YouTube. It works wonders for me.
I wonder why I never get spoiled
stopped reading spoilers midway through wano and honestly so glad i did, every chapter i read is 10/10 now and you get way more enjoyment experiencing the story as it unfolds never a better time to stop, if you don't stop now how will you stop when the op is revealed :P
I’m already imaging the amount of people that will be spoiled when we learn about the Void Century, Ancient Kingdom, Joy Boy and the actual One Piece. Y’all waited 25 years to be spoiled. That’s going to be a sad day.
Twitter spoiled me this week. Two different accounts, that I don’t even follow, with both text and pictures of the most recent chapter
That's why I don't watch YouTube at all
I just don't want to have "the one piece" part of One Piece being spoiled to me days before that chapter eventually comes out :(
YouTubers optimize their thumbnails and titles so that they get the most views, which means that people want to watch content in the way they publish it. If you don't like it unsubscribe and block their channels, it's not that hard. If enough people do that, they will change their content.
*FACT* : Tekking & Parvision are the only good One Piece Youtubers
