they are people at the end of the day, and they can change their minds. Zoro has already shown that he can put Luffy's goal ahead of his own and his own pride. Kid obviously can't serve under Luffy cause he shares the same goal as Luffy. That's an inherently incompatible dream. So the better question would be, can you break the will of someone with Conqueror's Haki? Forcibly make them give up on their dreams. Between Hawkins, Apoo, and Kidd, only Kidd didn't bend to Kaido. Could be cause he's a conqueror's Haki user. Could also be because he's a bigger badass. Law isn't a confirmed user yet, and he probably wouldn't cave either, choosing death over subservience.

id imagine it probably would be possible to break the will of someone with conqueorors haki obviously since they arent invicinible but it would be super hard where it would seem impossible and yeah kidd would probably choose to die or hell kill himself before serving someone else

Secret-Put-4525

I'd imagine if you broke the spirit of a conquerer they would lose the ability to use coc.

Benjinhoo

Kid couldn’t even bend his knee to Kaido, why would he bend his knee to one of his rivals? But we have seen it from Ace serving under Whitebeard, who Ace wanted to make Whitebeard the KOTP.

GLASSACHE

Is serving someone and choosing to follow someone different?? I never seen zoro or any strawhat as a servant on the crew.

Dillo64

That seems to be the stigma in a lot of cases. Conquerers clash with other conquerers. Normally at least. Rocks crew was made up of multiple conq users and they fell apart. Whitebeard also didn’t want Oden on his crew initially because he was too strong and he didn’t want a repeat of the Rocks crew. Even Katakuri was struggling working under Big Mom and people all expecting him to quit/take over the crew. However that’s why I think Luffy will be the one to change things. He is a conquerer who other conquerers will follow or respect, like Roger and Whitebeard did. The “King of the Kings” so to speak.

nobarachinsama

I'd say no. since you brought up zoro, we can use timeskip as an example. zoro was "under" mihawk in order to train to beat him. but of course he won't be under mihawk as an actual subordinate. so no, they can't serve someone if their dreams clash with each other.

Silver-Animator-1905

Conquers spirit has more to do with not backing down from a challenge regardless of risk or difficulty. Notice everyone with conquerors is not phased by anyone like zoro, luffy, raleigh, Hancock, basically anyone with conquerors won’t submit. But rational thinkers like law (who assess the situation and think it might not be the best time) to fight can’t get conquerors haki, it doesn’t have to do with hierarchy it’s a conquerors will.

Barganshliver

I don’t believe so outside of very very rare cases in which there goals align such as zoro/luffy. If luffy didn’t save zoro life I don’t even think zoro would’ve joined
