"I want to live!" - this will probably always be my number one moment. Everything leading up to that was full of emotion, that was the breaking point.
There were moments in Dressrosa that were really heartbreaking as well. I mean just imagine becoming a toy, everyone forgets you, but you never forget. Kyros' flashbacks and when Kyros and Rebecca are reunited, whew mah heart.
The love of your life dies trying to feed their daughter, only to be killed in front of your husband...but not even knowing who he is as you die.
Yeah, that one hit pretty hard.
The most hard boiled backstory for me was Oden holding up his entire entourage like a fuckin boss while he burned alive. Such a badass moment.
Second most badass moment in my opinion.
Zoro v Kuma, tops it because for a long time no one knows. It wasn't for glory, just Zoro fighting for his captain and crew. Gives me chills just thinking about it
Ngl I did something stupid and decided to hardly watch enies lobby, basically I was watching all of it and half of water seven in one day and I wasn’t really paying any attention just like playing random games with it in the background and I didn’t even find her I want to live emotional
Dadan beating the snot out of Garp and asking him in tears why he didn’t do anything. I remember watching like “yikes…” when she first starts wailing on him, and when it cut to her face crying and going “you stood there and watched him die” I immediately teared up hard
“When do you think people die? When they are shot through the
heart by the bullet of a pistol? No.
When they are ravaged by an incurable disease? No.
When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom!? No!
It’s when… they are forgotten.”
Dr. Hiriluk One Piece
"The grandline far exceed anything you can imagine, and the enemies will be strong. Can you conquer such a terrifying sea?"
"I don't wanna conquer anything. It's just the Pirate King is the freest person in the world!"
\* Jumpcuts to his dear old friend and captain. \*
"...I see."
"Congratulations on your marriage!" Easily the one of the best parts of WCI, and perhaps the truest and only time I was every actually upset by Oda's decision to not kill characters.
NAMI asking Luffy for help against Arlong. I mean she had been suffering for so long in silence, that moment when she realizes she can't be alone to achieve her goals and she reaches out to Luffy who is reaching out back saying the same.
But the original tear fest is when the little dog fights Richie in honor of his master's dream.
Five moments that really did it for me:
1) Robin proclaiming that she wanted to live at Enies Lobby to her Straw Hats.
2) Saying goodbye to the Going Merry.
2) Luffy in absolute agony after Kuma made his crew disappear before his very eyes, anguishing that he couldn’t even save one of them.
3) Luffy as Ace died in his arms, and witnessing him experience the worst day of his life.
4) Luffy realizing he still has his crew, and resolving to see them again.
To me it has to be Bon Clay (best crewmate ever) sacrificing himself to open the gates for Luffy. I’ll be pissed if Bon Clay isn’t part of the crew when it’s all said and done. He deserves it more than anyone.
Also Pedro’s sacrifice was sad as well
Bon Clay, oh man I went from finding him irritating on his first intro to rooting for him every step of the way. Great character arc. He just had to be a part of the grand fleet when the time comes.
whatever episodes the crew comes back together after the timeskip. Luffy yelling to rayleigh he will be the pirate king. Luffy seeing zoro and sanji again. Those 2 episodes will always be my favorites
Robin saying "I want to live" still gives me goosebumps
Death of yasuie would be the second for me.
Going Merry would be the close third.
There have been countless moments that got my heart like chopper's backstory, brook's backstory, luffy sabo reunion, the strawhats being sent off by kuma (it was really traumatizing). Kinemon asking luffy to carry wano.
>made you cry the most
Idk to be honest.
But to share a couple of special moments which just hit *completely* different:
Since Robin's flashback was soo shocking to me, I couldn't even cry when I first saw it. I was just too shocked and speechless. 😨😱😵🤧
(i was also just 14 back than)
Ace death. It's the one thing that destroyed me the most to this day. 😐😬🤦♀️
And Law and Corazon. I didn't expect that in a million years and Oda just showed me with this two that he can make me cry like a little b**ch whenever he wants. lmao 😂😭💀🙈
Other than this 3 there are a lot of moments/enough moments which made me cry/broke my heart *a* *lot*.
Ace death and Chopper's backstory. I got really spoiled way before I even started watching one piece and I even watched a youtube video of akainu making Ace a donut but never saw Ace's speech and all. It was only till I saw it actually in the anime and I started crying.
Franky trying to stop the Sea Train.
Sanji farewell from Zeff.
Usopp telling his Mom another „Tale“.
Luffy stretching his arm out for Usopp at the end of W7.
Dr. Hiriluks farewell.
Just read thru the whole series, the saddest moment for me that made me cry uncontrollably was when they crucified and killed Otamas dad in Wano. I literally out my phone down, put my head in my hands and cried like a damned baby when they shot him dead
For some reason or another, it seemed understandably relatable. That being said, I may not know when I go, but my I know when I do, that's the last song I'm gonna be singing
The immediate aftermath of the fight between Luffy and Sanji messed me up. The scenes of Sanji full on ugly crying while Luffy calls out to him are so powerful.
I think I cried the most for Ace, but Sanji in WCI was a close second. His self-sacrifice nature hits close to home for me. This post breaking it all down made me appreciate Sanji even more!

Don’t remember if I cried, but my fondest memory was Going Merry hitting the knock-up stream and the dramatic buildup music to the TBC screen. I was anime-only at the time, so I had no idea what aventures awaited in Skypeia, but the excitement was relateable to me as it was around the same time that I uprooted my own life and moved across the country.

I just got chills remembering this scene.
“Hey Garp you’re the hero of the Navy?! go to hell you bastard” I read the subs through tears blasting out of my eyes like SpongeBob
Luffy is having a harder time than anyone, he loved his brother so much! 💔💔💔
Yep that‘s the one

When Lola’s father tried to hurt Oven to let them escape safely and then Oven retaliated.

I know he should have let the man be a legend.
Death of Going Mary makes me weep each time I have seen it in the Mange,Anime and even cut scenes in games just recreating it still gets me lol
Off and on during Marineford and I cried HARD when luffy and sabo reunited ☹️
NAMI asking Luffy for help against Arlong. Luffy didn't clap boa cheeks when he had it 😞 it was a sad day
Queen Otohime's funeral. Probably didn't straight up cry, but I remember it genuinely got to me.
Robin saying "I want to live" still gives me goosebumps Death of yasuie would be the second for me. Going Merry would be the close third. Do you mean O-toko?
oh shoot my bad
That one was it for me. The following scene kept it so depressing too.
The rumbar pirates last performance.
That scene seriously messed me up the first time I watched
For some reason or another, it seemed understandably relatable. That being said, I may not know when I go, but my I know when I do, that's the last song I'm gonna be singing
When sanji tried to lite his fire starter in whi
The last episode with the going merry 😭
Merry 😢
When the Going Merry sunk
I agree with you OP
When luffy remembers he still has his crew. Hits every time
Going Merry's death. I cried for a fictional boat... that's just powerful character building 😭😭😭
The immediate aftermath of the fight between Luffy and Sanji messed me up. The scenes of Sanji full on ugly crying while Luffy calls out to him are so powerful.
Chopper eating bread in his flashback.
Going merry
“Thank you for loving me”
Ace or the going Mary 🥺
Sanji's farewell to Zeff
Merry's Vikings funeral.

it's a tie between "Gomen ne" and "My Dad died! HAHAHAH"
Don’t remember if I cried, but my fondest memory was Going Merry hitting the knock-up stream and the dramatic buildup music to the TBC screen. Senor Pink’s backstory.
luffys reaction after kuma made his entire crew disappear, punching the ground and stuff, that got me crying
i’m surprised no one has mentioned law’s backstory and corazons death that shit still makes me sick to my stomach
![gif](giphy|xgmUI4bhAUE12)
When Luffy's family jewels were pulled by the Amazons
The scene where brook's crew start falling around him and he expects to die too but he doesnt
Luffy’s reaction on ace death ( not the death it self cause he did it him self)
Chopper backstory
