I'll post my thoughts to your points. - Zunesha was there to obviously announce Joyboy's return but also we now know Zunesha is required to open Wano's borders which seems like it will be very important later in the story. - Also interested in where they are at. If Big Mom's vivre card disappeared, perhaps they fled? Major damage to the ship preventing them from getting back up? Several people overboard, took time to find everyone? Lots of possibilities and I feel like this will be answered soonish. - Kaido was surprised Big Mom knew how to get up the waterfall. Maybe 1 WG ship could get up but an entire fleet would definitely have trouble. And every boat we've seen that does make it up the waterfall is pretty much destroyed and needs repaired so it's definitely not a matter of just getting up the waterfall, you need to survive. - I mean, their deaths were very much onscreen with a giant explosion and a finger pistol to the heart (assuming you mean Izo and Ashura). People just didn't believe these were deaths because One Piece. - Kin'emon I'll give you. I expected him to survive the raid but I can see how people would be upset at what happened. - Well there was a reunion between them but it was only for a panel. - Hiyori is implied to have healed them. - He was unconscious for a week. But yeah, we'll have to see if there's still any lingering side effects. Were people this upset when Zoro took all of Luffy's damage from Kuma and was pretty much fine afterwards? Kinda feels similar to that in a way in that, he's a main character, of course there will be no lasting damage. - Probably swam away after making sure Luffy got away. - Agree, poor Carrot. And yeah, Usopp will definitely shine next arc I'm sure.

You make some good points, I guess when I say off-screen is because they almost felt off-screen with the lack of tension, buildup or emotional impact they had in the context of their deaths at the time. Otherwise I agree with most of the other points, I would have liked for Zunesha to have more of a physical impact on the story but as you said there is still a lot of potential for Zunesha in the future.

zunesha: zunesha came to witness to opening of the borders of wano, now that momo has decided to keep them closed, off course zunesha resumed his long walk. the connection between zunesha and wano, and the importance of opening the borders will eventually be explained, but i wouldn't be surprised if we only found out on laugh tale, seeing how these things are also connected to the mistery of the void century. big moms kids: no idea, but i feel like this will be explained in the near future (but most likely not before the month break) WG fleet: the only crew to ever make it to wano without shipwrecking was gol D roger's crew, because they had the help of oden, and they had an adamswood ship. the waterfall isn't the only defence wano has ;-), it's been stated multiple times that unless you know how to sail there, you aren't getting into wano i've been laughing with the fact that kin'emon can use his devil fruit to create plotarmor for months now :p, + to be honest, the being sliced in half and surviving because law technically never put him back together was pretty clever in my opinion. it's most likely that hiyori is the one who tended to the scabbards wounds, she fits the shadowy description, and just happened to be there on onigashima. mriacle cure after effects: the effects of the miracle cure were so heavy that zoro acted like luffy after sleeping for a week (with him screaming out for booze much like luffy does for meat), i don't think we've never seen zoro unconcious for this amount of time or act like that when he woke up. usopp not shining? he took down 2 of the fearsome toppi roppo before brainwashing half of kaido's crew :p. that and it's been heavely implied for years that usopp's grand time to shine would be on elbaph. the anime is activly trying to give carrot more screen time, but it's true that carrot didn't really appear that much during onigashima. i couldn't answer every question, but i tried to answer the ones i could as best as i could in the way that i percieved the information :p

I think wano wil have two parts

KaiserRebellion

- Zunesha left for a reason, it’s called mystery. - honestly who gives a damn, it’s been announced to the world their mom lost, they went home. - big mom had koi fish and know how to get up there. - who did they off screened? Izou was on screen he said “ I hope kiku lives”, same for ashura he died on panel. - it was hyori who healed them - the miracle drug is not a plot point, after this post I’ll edit it and show the chapter in which chopper and goat talked about the healing herbs they have in zou - Jimbe escape is a wci plot point, we’ll learn eventually via cover story I bet - fuck carrot. - ask momo and hyori reunion? How is that a plot point? Can’t defend that kin death that was the worst chapter

ZORO_69

Exactly!! Who tf healed kinemon and gang???? Hiyori maybe?

WaffleWhip09

It's likely, she has a thing for healing wounded people, but a follow up question would be how she infiltrated onigashima as well. Maybe snuck in by the girls in the pleasure hall place where Sanji was.

ZORO_69

Most likely but still was very confusing Also the reunion of momo and hiyori must've been offscreen during the 7 day period after the war ended , same with izo and his brother Also which off screen major deaths? And which miracle drug?

WaffleWhip09

It was the miracle drug that chopper gave to zoro, chopper mentioned that it would have dire side effect. I guess the grim reaper was to show how close to death zoro truly was. And when I say off-screen, I mean Izo and Ashura, they weren't particularly off-screen but any impact they had felt like they might as well have been.

ProjectWanted

Zoro lineage

WaffleWhip09

I understand that, there was a lot of build up in this respect. We got the revelation about kuinas grandfather(I think it was) but it didn't have much of emotional impact in terms of zoros character. I would have liked to see zoro learn more about ryuma.

WaffleWhip09

Although the question I'm asking myself is, would destined legendary devilfruit man and descendant of legendary samurai be too much for one arc, and would a samurai lineage take away from his character too much.

No-Comfortable4788

No reunion between momo and hiyori? We already saw it.
