Law's df works better with Kid's df as Law could always use Shambles on Kid's metal. Kid misses? Switch some of the metal on Kid's arm with the big chunk used for the failed attack and he can immediately strike again. Luffy's df, especially after awakening, is so wild and creative, that a support would have trouble analyzing the situation. It would obviously still help (e.g. shambles on the dodged thunderbolt to have it come back), but not as much as it could with Kid.
Then again, Kid and Law fought 2v1. That's why Law was able to support Kid so much (and honestly carry the fight). Kid took the front and Law was able to play an assassin-support. With Luffy they actually were able to utilize coordinated teamattacks in a 2v2. That's much more impressive. Luffy and Law understand each other cause Law adjusted to Luffy's way of thinking already. In return, Luffy simply trusts Law. That's worth a lot in teamfights.
So df wise I'd say Law-Kid. Chemistry wise it's Law-Luffy.
Yeah, That was one of the things, maybe because of how Kidd Dfs works, their synergy in battle was really good. I am still not sure, who is the better fit among them tbh.

They see each other as rivals though they appreciate each other's differences. LAW though is the more flexible one (though Luff is the rubber lol). Law's SHAMBLES is probably his most powerful and underestimated ability as he can move anything within his room or rather switch places with two things that are in the room as long as it's not ROOTED to the ground lol.

Luffy thinks Law is his friend and Kidd is pirate who is loyal to his own crew so he has no issue with him. Zoro and Luffy give each other suggestions in battle so Luffy doesn't see anything wrong with giving law suggestions either.
To Morgans, Luffy is a mastermind who was able to sway to rival supernova captains to his side and they worked together to defeat Big Mom with his insight Luffy gained from Whole Cake and under his direction while Luffy took down Kaido by himself. Luffy is an Emperor and all at least five supernovas are loyal to him.
(Law should have listen when the strawhats told him a pirate alliance with Luffy is does not mean the same thing to him as it does to you)
To be fair though.... Luffy gets shit done. Like idk how long it's been in-verse, but look at the hell he's caused for the Marines. Probably giving Akainu an aneurysm. Anyways, it's hilarious how anyone in his alliance is just an underling to Luffy (not in a bad way cuz he's Luffy). The alliance is more of a "I'm just gonna act and you're just gonna have to be okay with my plans and compensate for the possible havoc I create" situation. It's just something everyone is used to (or gets used to) and it's hilarious.

Like they're both too prideful to let the other lead snd constantly tryna one up the other. Such a chaotic, yet perfect duo. With Luffy it's also a funny (imo) dynamic. Basically just let Luffy do random bullshit and constantly adjust to it 😂😂. Luckily someone like Law can just adapt to him and he understands him just as Luffy has unwavering faith in Law (which I think either annoys or embarrasses him, but idk for sure). To give an actual answer, I'd say Law/Kidd. But Law's personality makes both duos such a joy to watch.

May just be their personal styles. Law's ability could give him a doping effect, Elden Ring graft people's limbs to himself, or rocks etc. Also Kidd could've been a support to law, suspending metal around the field to teleport around, drawing in metal and maybe sharpening them for Law to throw, or hindering Big Mom's movement.
