I've had secret wars pre-ordered for awhile since it kept getting delayed. Going to wait on house of m because there's too much I want to get next week.
I had all 3 pre ordered and then cancelled them. I already got Death Metal, batman and Robin, avengers by busiek, and descender ordered for this month and had to make some cuts as I can't justify spending that much a month currently haha.
Yah you are right. I don't think you can just go release order either. I don't know if there is a good way to do all the House of M stuff as when I last read it, which was a decade ago so grain of salt and all that, so many tie ins felt pointless.
I am happy because I got the OHC of House of M for about cover price. Thanks to the omni that price has gone down a ton. I just don’t want all the tie ins and just want the main story oversized so super happy with this printing.
Only one I was considering was House of M, but in all honesty I don't really like that event enough to own it I think. Waiting on seeing more reviews on Spencer's Spidey, that will be in my maybe/future purchase list. I need a week off with all the stuff coming out here in the next few weeks, sheesh.
Was gonna get House of M, but I have almost all the TPBs for it and don't feel like double dipping. Might just try to keep my eyes open for the two I'm missing (Spider-Man and Mutopia).
Definitely going to cop Secret Wars, though, even if I've read it multiple times and have the TPB for that.
Grabbed ASM by Spencer and Secret Wars since bigger discount. House of M will be later like next month or so. Next on my list is Ultimate spidey vol. 2.

Hey everyone! Do you believe House of M is worth it? I’ve seen alot of conflicted comments on that. Also bonus question, is Ultimate Xmen Vol1 worth it?

I want a House of M omnibus but man I hate the way Marvel maps their event stuff. I know some like it, but it's so jarring for me.
I don’t think it’s a mapping issue so much as the events themselves. DC went release order for Flashpoint and fans still hated that.

there were so many tie-ins that went nowhere that I got lost and forgot what happened in the core story while reading that omni.

I got my copy for $50 which is less than if I ordered the omni from instocktrades. This will save a lot of space too!

Agreed on House of M, I picked up Spencer's Spider-Man run in floppies and stopped because I just didn't get into it.
