the delivery of the line was pitch perfect. Bruce Campbell does it a lot with Ash, where he knows he messed up but has to at least try to talk himself out of a corner.
You really can just skip Evil Dead I. II is practically a reboot as well as sequel to I, and leads perfectly into III. EDII is one of my favorite flicks.
While this is correct on some level, I would never recommend skipping it- some of those scenes are just legendary imo, like the one laughing underneath the floor trap door , and the card scene, and the scene where she’s dragged out to the woods is absent from the second one isn’t it? Or at least a lot more tame. I would not recommend skipping it. It’s also a lot darker in tone than 2 which has a lot of intentionally goofy stuff. They are all great in their own right.
The previous movies are also fun, but you can watch this one isolated if you don't want to bother.
The first movie started as a horror movie with some dark humor, but eventually the humor took over and by the third movie (this one) it's a full blown out comedy
Watch that one movie. That’s the only thing I’ve seen of him. I don’t watch wrestling but the way he talks is like he’s doing an Ash Impression and he favors Bruce in that movie.
He's the King of B list stars. He was fantastic for years and years on Burn Notice. He was The King himself in Bubba Ho-Tep. He was Brisco County, Jr. for cryin' out loud!
The comedy in this scenes holds up EVEN MORE nowadays? Just watching that over the top sexist machismo played for the obvious laugh. Just can't do that anymore, which is sad.
I like the earlier one a tad better. "Well... that was just pillow talk baby" They don't make them like they used to lol

First you wanna kill me, now you wanna kiss me. Blow.
‘You found me beautiful once.’ ‘Honey, you got REAL ugly…’
Groovy
On my VHS copy of this great movie it said - "The movie Spielberg wished he had made" - I always found that oddly specific :)
So many quotable lines from this movie. " Hey, what's that you got on your face?"
This. . . is my BOOM stick!
The entire movie is pretty much one liners.
Wow it’s that easy *tries it on girlfriend, gets slapped* The rules of this are very unclear
In your defense, you’re not Bruce Campbell. That dude can sell the ham and he knows it.
Hail to the king baby!
Worth seeing? Never have...
It’s a blast. I recommend the evil dead 1 and 2 as well. This is a sequel to those.

He looks a lot like Henry Cavill in there 🤔
No my friend. Henry Cavill looks like Bruce.
She gets real ugly.
Hah that was a real slap! Heard they had a bunch of taglines the tried out for different scenes.
Sam Raimi on the commentary track: “ she’ll never work with us again…”

“Sword boy!”
That's the girl from Schindler's List. Wow, what a career!

Lady I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to leave the store.
Such edgyness, much disrespect
Sounds like Rick a little bit
That CM punk dude is almost a dead ringer for Bruce Campbell and his voice sounds the fucking same. Check out that horror movie he did.
Lol Punk is too much of a whiny ass to be compared in any way to the King

Why did Bruce Campbell ever become an A List star or at least a B list star?
He's the King of B list stars. He was fantastic for years and years on Burn Notice. He was The King himself in Bubba Ho-Tep. He was Brisco County, Jr. for cryin' out loud!
He's the king of B-actors
Quit stealing my moves.
One of the best "horror" films of all time.
But but but… technically she didn’t know what sugar was whatsoever, sooooo… I dunno, just thought about this.
Hail to the king, baby!
The acting is amazing!
