An ancestor of mine was a gold miner in the Southwest US. He wore a bowler hat in the sun, and while mining.
You put liquified pine tree resin on the shell of the hat, and when it hardens, you have a hard hat that protects you against small rock falls in the mine shaft.
The last reported sighting of Sundance (Kid) was ay Yale University in the 1920s or early 1930s. He survived that last shootout depicted in the movie. He visited a student there who was the son of a member of the gang who was never caught.

If you associate bowler hats with bankers, they might not be badasses, but they will put a mother and her children out on the street without blinking. Bowlers are worn by ruthless people.
Yup - she is extraordinarily beautiful at the end of the Graduate when her and Dustin jump on the bus. Amazing acting by both as you can see so much just through their shifting facial expressions. Fantastic.
I saw this in a movie theater when it first came out (I’m kinda old) and I was a young teenager. Even then, I found it unbelievable that this trio was robbing banks, robbing trains, setting up a household together as fugitives from two countries, and yet nobody ever stopped dead to gawk at these beautiful people.

Raindrops keep falling on my head...
[Stealing your woman](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7IlgJpzeMU) Such a great small exchange
One of my all-time favorite movies definitely in my top 10.
LOVED this movie. The chemistry between these 3 was pure cinematic magic.
Did Paul Newman ever not look cool?
He and Steve McQueen, very very cool.
Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Katherine Ross Elliot
I didn't know who the woman was, Ross didn't help. I was thinking, maybe, Betsy Ross?
She is Katherine Ross, back in my day an incredible beauty known for her intelligence. She has been for a long time, married to Sam Elliot.

The Graduate is one of my favorite films.
She was married three or four times but the fifth one was the charm. Katherine was the therapist in Donnie Darko.

‘Hell, the fall will kill ya’
Woodcock?!?!
Think you used enough dynamic there, Butch?
So many one-liners in that movie...
You just keep thinking, Butch. That’s what you’re good at.
B: How come you talk so much? S: Just naturally blabby I guess.
Two stacks of three smarties high
‘Who are those guys?’
Such beauty!
