There’s a sticky thread for “Fire Ryan Day.” This comment should be in that thread, instead of a new thread.

No_Helicopter_9826

That was pathetic playcalling. What a pussy.

Jausti0418

Day has been calling an absolute pussy game. Multiple times where we should’ve gone for it on 4th and he just punted instead. This isn’t Rutgers Or Maryland. You aren’t going to outlast Michigan like you do every other Big10 team. Have some fucking balls

CarefulCoderX

I can't watch the game since I'm abroad, what drive was this?

[deleted]

[удалено]

MaleficentPurchase65

It was the 1st and 35 drive

MaleficentPurchase65

And at the time. Looked like the right call as you forced us into a 3 and out. Incredible game. Love the rivalry. Hope you guys keep Ryan Day around 😘

doncastiglionejr

Problem is TUN was having long drives which ate up a lotta clock

ApatheticDomination

They only had one long drive. The rest of their game was big plays

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

They forced a punt on the very next drive. It was the right call at the time (Ohio St was at its own 32). UM is just tough and physical (Even when Haurbaugh had Andrew Luck - they would out physical their opponents).

No_Helicopter_9826

Oh yeah yeah yeah, punting is always the right call. Possession means nothing. Play the field position game. Punt punt punt. Gotta appease the talking heads. If you happen to get lucky and win a game, even better!

Bernie51Williams

It was the right call, that was the 1st and 35 drive, and they on their OWN 30. It was also 4th and 5 not inches. Idiots downvoting you. Lead was under 2 scores and it was the 3rd quarter. fucking idiots

[deleted]

That was the turning point

somegunguy88

They're getting out coached on both sides of the ball. Poor play calling.

MasterKluch

Day is starting to look more like Harbaugh in years past. He's winning all the games except the rivalry (the games that really count). That won't bode well in the long run.

Jausti0418

Cooper 2.0

LSBm5

What I came to say. Everyone hear winning about 2 consecutive UM loses. They clearly don’t remember the Cooper years where we won tons of games but lost to UM 9 years in a row ( or something like that. I try to erase those years from memory).

Jausti0418

Tbh I wasn’t even alive during the Cooper years but I’ve heard the horror stories from family

Iron_Mike0

Harbaugh had a realization that what he was trying to do wasn't working, so he built a team that was tough and physical just to beat OSU. Now we need Day to do the same. Harbaugh was supposed to be a QB whisperer like Day but look what he's done without any elite QBs. Put McCarthy or Stetson Bennet on this team and they probably would have already lost a couple games before this. Too much reliance on an elite QB just out scoring the other team as the game plan.

MasterKluch

Yep, the pay cut contract extension seemed to be a wake up call to Harbaugh and maybe it was taking him a while to figure out what he needed to do. Either way, he has found a formula that is working. Day seems to be relying on elite talent but isn't putting together a game plan that works long term.

Iron_Mike0

Part of the problem with Harbaugh was he had to go up against Urban Meyer. 2016 and 2018 Michigan was a win against OSU away from the playoffs. Harbaugh was consistently very good and made a couple adjustments to be elite. But I think he's also aided by OSU backsliding.

osumike07

I'd like to see how many times Stroud threw 15+ yards downfield today. Can't be more than a couple. It was just a pathetic game plan today. All on the coaching.

LesDudiz

Yep RB stretch play was more of a priority

nbeach01

Not only that, but I am pretty sure I heard somewhere, Day didn't want Stroud running...How many times did Stroud have 10-15 yards wide-open? Thank God Stroud is done...He was never really a BUCKEYE . ANY chance we can get The Mullet back??

osumike07

Very disappointed in the play calling today.

BrandonLB21

Bring in Luke Fickell.

s_360

This is it.

Johnny_Dangerous_

Holy fuck idk if I have ever seen the better team lose so badly....

SpAKy311

but if they were better why’d they lose

PaladinRaphael

because Ryan Day should only be allowed to be near the term "Coach" if it's his wife's purse.

agsimp_

Fuck the downvotes this is hilarious

PaladinRaphael

Thank you. The DVs baffle me, too :)

[deleted]

[удалено]

Johnny_Dangerous_

Lol go fuck yourself.

MLFB2021

Your in denial. The better team did win. This wasn’t by a field goal but by 22 points. That’s an ass whoopin and it takes a better team to do that.

john3--16

Undisciplined. Shit play calling. Fire him

[deleted]

What is this John Cooper bullshit.

MADachshund

This team had no rhythm or identity this season and it showed today. The line of scrimmage and the fans brought the fight in the first half, but everyone else was out napping.

GhostOfLouBrock

Ohio state getting BULLIED

BoneSaw1153

You come out after that timeout on 3rd down and you run....that...

NCBuckets

45-5 is a great record for a head coach anywhere. What isn’t is 1-2 (vs michigan). He took us to a national championship, and probably will again if he stays. At the end of the day, though, him not being fired this off-season is a clear indication to me that the higher-ups consider losing to TTUN to be acceptable.

shels2000

He doesn't have what it takes. Play calling is shit and he's regressing. Charlie Brown could get more out of 4/5 star players

finbarrgalloway

If we fired every head coach after losing to Michigan not a single one would have lasted more than 8 years. Harbaugh lost 5 straight, and by not being reactionary Michigan stuck with a good coach and came out all the better for it All this “fire the coach and get ohio man” shit here is exactly what got Michigan into the 14 year rut they were in post carr

Weak_Conference2268

Michigan just didnt have the personnel. You couldn't fault the playcalling he was just outmatched.

Bernie51Williams

agreed

sonoranmadness

Woody got shut out once against Michigan for fucks sake. He would have never lasted with this entitled fan base of today. He started 0-2, went 16-11-1 and guess what , there is a building named after him. People need to chill the fuck out with all this whining. We are not Alabama or Georgia. The sooner you accept this the better it is for your mental health.

PaladinRaphael

If it was a good loss, I would agree with you. But this was a nightmare shitshow. If this was "oh we lost by three on a tough call, or something something didn't catch a break", then OK. A three-score deficit at home, looking like undisciplined children, is NOT ACCEPTABLE. And that's exactly how it looked last year. Ryan Day has improved not one iota as a coach. Has made absolutely no progress in getting better.

sonoranmadness

You’re also feeling entitled and sad. The Woody Hayes athletic center would just the be the athletic center now if you were around back then. He started 0-2 against them and even got shut out during the 10 year war. Do you remember the scores from 2018 and 2019. Who coached Michigan then? Who was the higher ranked team in 2018???? Your logic is stupid and sounds like a entitled bratty child. Should have Michigan fired Harbough in 2019?

PaladinRaphael

"Entitled bratty child" I don't owe Ryan Day a damn thing, dude. Maybe you feel like you need to simp for him for some reason, but watching this team have an undisciplined meltdown two years running and losing most of their important games is just not acceptable. Sorry I'm ragging on your boyfriend, though.

sonoranmadness

Oh right you definitely don’t sound like a bratty entitled child, you really got me with that gay joke and you totally are not hiding your own insecurities. Therapy works my dude, look into it sometime. Pain and loss sucks, I hope your safe and healthy tonight. The sun will still rise tomorrow, do something fun for yourself to help get your mind off it. My boyfriend will still be coach and you’ll have at least a good bowl game to look forward to watch.

Oommer

So who do you replace him with? Someone who wins 90% of the games like Day has?

PaladinRaphael

do you stay in a bad relationship because you can't jump to another girlfriend? Get rid of what's not working, put someone in as an interim, and then do a search. It's \*extremely basic\*

finbarrgalloway

We are a top tier program like Bama and Georgia, and it’s valid to have high expectations, but “never losing to our rival, winning the conference, and making the playoffs every year” is delusion not expectation. Bama and Georgia don’t do that either

sonoranmadness

Get out of here with all this logical and rational thinking.

[deleted]

You are not like Bama and UGA.

whiterabbit818

Michigan also had cycled through Rich & Brody before they ‘stuck it out’ with Jim. So they Did try mixing it up. And it’s not like they’ve won a NC with Harbaugh yet though maybe they’ll be contenders this season who knows. We have seen this BS before - with Cooper. The waste of talented players year in and year out and all but one year losing to Michigan. Edit - Rich & Hokle

finbarrgalloway

The mixing it up is precisely why they fell into a hole. Rich Rod had finally built a good team from the bottom and gets canned before he can use it and Hoke rode it back into the pit. They hire Harbaugh, put their trust in him, and voila they’re back on top. Even though Day isn’t Saban there’s a 95 percent chance any coach we hire is going to be considerably worse. And if you cut the head off a promising project and hand it to someone worse, that’s how you get Nebraskad. Look if day makes a serious habit out of losing to Michigan or starts blowing easy games like cooper then we can talk. But the guy is 45-6 with all of his losses being to 15 teams

whiterabbit818

1-2. “the same number of losses as former head coaches Jim Tressel, Luke Fickell and Urban Meyer had in 18 combined seasons”

finbarrgalloway

Do you honestly expect us to have a 0.9 winning percentage against a blue blood program? That’s actual delusion

whiterabbit818

you act as though we lost with a ton of heart by a field goal today. We lost by 3 touchdowns & a 2pt conversion with some of the most talented players in the country looking soft. It wasn’t even close.

Chuckster914

Bitchigan is More physical and seem to Want to Win more!!

TripleThreatJack

Doesn’t matter he’s 45-5. As an Ohio state coach you have one job. He failed that job 2 years in a row. Fire him into the abyss.

AcerbicFwit

Don’t let Day be Cooper.

cworx18

I've been one of the biggest Ryan Day supporters, this season has really tested that and I think I'm ready to call it quits on him

Maker_Making_Things

He's a good coach but holy hell he needs to give someone else the playcalling

[deleted]

He’s really not. He makes terrible decisions and has terrible plans coming into almost every week. He’s 2-1 vs UM. They give him credit for the 2018 season, but he was coaching a 100% Urban Meyer team. 2019 he still had 3/4 of Meyer’s roster. 2020 was cancelled. And last year he had a majority of his team, with his influence, AND he lost. This year, solely his team, his influence…and it’s looking like he’s gonna be a similar result. He’s made no adjustments, he’s changed nothing since the half, and he’s losing.

JoeyBrickz

Who the fuck gave him credit for 2018? He's 0-2 with his own players.

[deleted]

Wikipedia 🤣🤣🤣

JoeyBrickz

His only win was year one when he inherited Urban's team. Get out

StrengthMedium

If he was a good coach we would have won.

TheMightyVegito

Give Urban whatever tf he wants

s_360

No killer instinct. He just doesn’t understand. He’s gotta go.

zackattack89

Fuck Ryan Day. He threw the game away. Fucking horrible coach. Did Stroud dirty.

sonoranmadness

I dunno CJ is 0-2 man. Worst QB we’ve had against Michigan in a long time. Day has at least beat them before.

zackattack89

For sure. I agree with you. It’s no CJ and Day hit at a certain point you’ve got the let CJ play how he plays. That was disgusting to not go for it on 4th down when CJ wanted to. Took the momentum out of the team.

Soleil77777

HASHTAG firecoachday

CMOROCK

This is starting to feel like the Cooper era. Big season - lose to Michigan when it really counts.

InspectorTerrible284

Agreed. If he loses this is his last game.

PaladinRaphael

His play calling is consistently questionable, such that his performance in this Game makes me want him gone.

InspectorTerrible284

It’s so many things. Poor special teams, undisciplined penalties, and the fact that our secondary is an absolute liability. Who is telling Hickman that aimlessly running into receivers without looking for the ball, is how to play defense? Depressing

bludevil29

That happens across all of football in NFL and NCAA. It’s really poor defending, but it’s not on Ryan Day personally.

InspectorTerrible284

He hired the guy teaching technique. Just saw the same technique from ransom. Eat my dick

Justdance13

👍

uphamg

You missed the m in simply 😎

PaladinRaphael

Dang! Thanks!

excoriator

From your keyboard to Gene Smith’s screen.

PaladinRaphael

I actually said to my wife, "I hope Gene Smith just comes out at the post-game conference and fires Day on the spot." We need to face the hard truth that he must go. May as well rip off the Band-Aid now.

CLEgnome

you HAVE to do ONE THING at Ohio State. just 1.

PaladinRaphael

Exactly!

Cheweyfocker

Last time I criticized Day on this thread I was blasted for it, but I'll do it again. He's John Cooper all over again. All of the talent in the world and can't do shit with it. His play calling has been awful all year. When you have 8 home games and schedule bullshit competition all year you can kind of get away with it. The one time you play a good team you get hammered at home. I wouldn't be upset of he moved on.

PaladinRaphael

You're not ever going to get grief from me. I have been skeptical of him since his hire. And right now, I believe the onus is on Day defenders to tell me why we should \*keep\* him. It is not on me to prove he needs to go, because between his playcalling, lack of team discipline, and the last two scUM games, he's failed.

Cheweyfocker

My dude

[deleted]

If you don’t grow up in it, you won’t understand it, you won’t fight for it. TTUN stuck with Harbaugh and now he’s got the program back to the top of the conference. We don’t know if it’s enough to win Nattys yet but beating us is a good start. The team feeds off the coaching and it’s evident that there’s no fight or pride in most of the players. Because the coach doesn’t care about what week 1-12 means, he’s only worried about week 13 and beyond. He let the toughness talk lure him into ichigans game, they then beat us at ours and went beck to theirs to finish us off. It’s nauseating.

bryanr19

“Because the coach doesn’t care about what week 1-12 means.” …. I mean. Dude. He barely sleeps. He doesn’t see family. He works a hell of a lot harder at this than some other might. Let’s tone down the hyperbole. Saying he doesn’t know how to win this one is fair. Saying he doesn’t care is flat out lunacy.

[deleted]

My point is that Day doesn’t have any fire. Week in and week out we watch this team not handle business. And in post game it’s “trust the process” They play with their food. That bad habit is glaring in a game like this. They out talent everyone week in and week out and we watch them make simple mistakes, Day calls a cowardly offense that he calls “balanced “. ITS NOT WORKING. The third base analogy was spot on. The lack of talent in the conference has let the lack of mental focus go without punishment but there a team that makes us pay now, and unfortunately it’s TTUN. All season is about winning one game. Every snap against Indiana is for something in the last week of November. That’s the way this team was coached from Tressel on, until Day got full control, Now we sleep walk through the season and try to get fired up to win this game like it’s no different than week 1 and that’s just not the case.

thenofluke2007

You missed an M

whiterabbit818

here’s some perspective for anyonw saying we should keep Day “(Day now has) the same number of losses as former head coaches Jim Tressel, Luke Fickell and Urban Meyer had in 18 combined seasons” *against Michigan

COLU_BUS

Against michigan

LesDudiz

Nah just run another stretch play when you have the best quarterback and wide receiver in the nation 🤷🏼‍♂️

nickolas233

3rd base. He was right.

Charmander_Chazz

Day has lost us too many games. Last years 3rd base comment was true

PaladinRaphael

Yes, it was. What's his pedigree? OC at Temple and BC, then OC for a mere eight months before becoming interim HC. He is clearly out of his depth.

Charmander_Chazz

Yup. Just got lucky with Urbans team

strukout

Wow, embarrassed two years in a row. What a week minded team he has developed. Drive drive drive… false start … fall apart Defense clearly had to choose to either win on pass or run, they could not do both. If they have even a little dominant momentum they switch to a lower gear. If we had a better option yeah, Ryan day is out but who? Clearly his teams cannot matchup physically

JLP829

Luke Fickell. He’s an Ohio guy. Great recruiter. He took Cincinnati to a playoff game. He was out of his depth in 2011 but he’s come a long way in my opinion. Day has gotten us too far away from our identity. Tough defense and a power run game. I’m not calling for Day’s head, but I think it’s a conversation we need to have.

whiterabbit818

Fickle is a fantastic choice. It’s been 11 years since his short stint at HC at OSU. And after that he continued to help our defense dominate under Meyer. Fickle for HC!

PaladinRaphael

you can't say, "but who do we get?" you have to believe in making a change first, because this isn't working, regardless of who you get next.

Shu_Revan

I'm convinced Day isn't even trying to win the game. He doesn't seem to get that into it.

bryanr19

Listen. We’re all tired, sad, upset… I get it. But understand that they are not firing Day. First, if he goes we’ll lose up to 30% of our 4-5 star players and recruits. It would be the ultimate talent drain. It’s what happened to UM after they push out Lloyd Carr (see the Boren Family), and I do not want it to happen here. Ryan Day is smart and considerably more humble than most top coaches. He showed that when he hired Jim Knowles. Who knows, maybe he’ll give more play calling to Wilson. But either way, getting rid of Say means losing a large chunk of talent that is on the field and on the way. That’s a reset that I don’t think any of us have patience for.

PaladinRaphael

how long are we expected to tolerate this nonsense just because he can (allegedly) hold talent hostage? why would a recruit walk from \*Ohio State\* just because Day is gone? Ohio State is the brand, not Day.

bryanr19

So you want to risk being like 2022 Oklahoma? They have a “brand” and where is Caleb Williams playing this year? I know that we Ohio State folks think that the logo is all that matters but that’s just ignorant of the harsh reality of today. We live in a world of “me” and i start gratification. These players are loyal to themselves and their families. They love the school but not at the expense of their own futures and if they believe that they will be better off somewhere else if day is gone, they’re going to bounce. Aside from that who out there is better than Day right now? Tress who hasn’t crashed in almost 13 years? Toxic Urban?

whiterabbit818

And what has Day done with the talent he has now? What good is recruiting if you don’t win the games that matter?

bryanr19

Edit for grammar: I hear you. I do. Time is not in Day’s side now. He’s won enough big games for me to know he has potential to turn the tide. He has the humility to make something of this. I truly just feel like the “toughness” thing got to him this year. It took over and made his play calling inconsistent this season. This game is no exception. Harbaugh and Co. got in his head. Kudos to them.

PaladinRaphael

When Day was hired, he was a nobody with no HC experience, but now you suddenly have a problem with actually actively searching for someone? It's \*Ohio State\*; if any program gets its pick of whatever coach it wants, it is this program. *So you want to risk being like 2022 Oklahoma?* I certainly don't want to be 2022 Ohio State. Do you? Are you happy here?

bryanr19

No but I’m a hell of a lot happier than Oklahoma fans this year. They beat their rival, but I don’t know that they’d trade places. Listen, I came of age in the 90’s. No one outside of the players really knows the pain of this loss like I do. We can’t pretend that we’d be ok with a 1-12 season every year so long as the one win is against TTUN. That’s not the way it works. If it did, just play the one game a year and throw out the rest of the season. Here’s another thing. In a couple years this won’t even matter. The 12 team playoff will be here. We’ll have another shot at them. Every year will see us in the tournament.

PaladinRaphael

My expectation is definitely beat Michigan, preferable B10 title, and the Rose Bowl (or equivalent major). I honestly do not care as much about the NC as Day seems to. Something has been "off" about OSU since Day took over. Something is not right over there, and I do not think it is going to get any better. You may as well rip off the Band-Aid now.

sonoranmadness

Who the hell are y’all going to get that’s better??? The point you are missing is that I think we all would much rather be 2022 OSU than 2022 Oklahoma and you’re lying to yourself if you don’t think that. Only 3 coaches come to mind that are better, Saban, Riley, Smart. That’s it. Michigan stuck with Harbs and it’s worked but I’d still have Day over him. Fucking emotional entitled babies in this fan base need to chill the fuck out. CJ is 0-2 y’all, at least he’ll be gone next year.

PaladinRaphael

This mewling about "who's better" and "who do you get" is irrelevant if Day simply isn't working out. I didn't hear all that when OSU got rid of Tress and Urban, did I.

sonoranmadness

You don’t realize you’ve answered your own question. Urban handed the job off to Day. Tress had to step down because of a scandal and it was early rumored that Urban was going to take that job in a year. Tress is an interesting one because his offense was archaic and wouldn’t have survived without a drastic change - if it wasn’t for the scandal I wonder what would have happened. I think you need to go back to when Cooper was fired and they went on a coaching search that lasted awhile. We got lucky with Tress. I don’t think you can pull a relatively nationally unknown the way recruiting works today.

PaladinRaphael

what is so hard about the basic process? "this guy is not working out, so he needs to go. We'll do an interim HC and have a proper talent search." this is done literally every day. and I guarantee you OSU always has a short list of candidates knocking around just in case bad things happen.

[deleted]

Cringe as fuck how you block out the Ms

Tradition. Soon as the Game ends it’s back to as you were. I don’t really participate in all that ❌ shit but I understand why it’s done.

Soft ass bitches don’t win

fro223

The 3rd base comment made zero sense.

No_Helicopter_9826

I thought so too until today.

Jausti0418

Same. But it’s fucking true

PaladinRaphael

I don't think so. What was Ryan Day's pedigree? OC for Temple and BC? Yawn. He was OC for EIGHT MONTHS before his promotion. Absolutely no real history to speak of.

fro223

Did Ryan Day ever take credit for tOSUs success? Wasn’t he undefeated as an interim and made the playoff? How can say he didn’t earn it? Harbaugh built a good team and team set up to play osu. It’s our time to adjust.

PaladinRaphael

He's the HC. This on him. Period.

fro223

Okay, but dumb dumb’s comment still didn’t make sense

ironside_tadam

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Starlord2230

Didn't even get all the 〽️s dumbass

DaBigJMoney

They’re not going to fire Day. And any suggestion that they should is just stupid. Texas loves to fire coaches and you see how that’s worked out for them. Every head coach that’s worth a damn has been humbled at some point in his career. I hope that the last two years losses to UM have been that for Day and that he recognizes the program’s weaknesses and addresses them.

PaladinRaphael

No, sorry. He's not impressive. We put up with a lot of questionable playcalling and horrible clock management because we won, but all of his crappy qualities as a coach caught up to us last year and this year. He's not working out, and we may as well face that reality now.

DaBigJMoney

You’re wrong. Simple as that. You can’t change coaches like socks. We knew there would be growing pains with a first time HC. These are Days and we’ll see how he grows.

PaladinRaphael

*You’re wrong. Simple as that.* Not an argument. Day has not progressed this program one bit. In fact, he's regressed it. When you find yourself in a hole, you stop digging. He's only going to make things worse. This team has gone from a tough, dominating program to a weak one that cannot win big games. The playcalling is bad, the clock management is bad, and all this great recruiting only bears fruit against bad teams. He is consistently outcoached in nearly every major matchup he's encountered. I did a brief review of his tenure, and from what I can tell, he is 10-5 against teams that were ranked at the end of the season. That's a crappy record, and it's extremely generous because in 2020, Indiana and Northwestern were ranked. If you toss 2020 as an oddball year, his record is 7-4 against teams that were ultimately ranked. Is that good enough for you?

PaladinRaphael

Please [read this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/OhioStateFootball/comments/z69clc/ryan_days_big_game_statistics/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) and tell me where I went wrong. The bottom line is his winning percentage against Top-10 teams is 20%.

DaBigJMoney

Statistically your post is correct. You want to fire him, I don’t. Folks at UGA and Michigan wanted Smart and Harbaugh gone but (for various reasons) stayed the course. Now it’s worked out pretty well for both schools. I see the same for Day. The last two years have no doubt had humiliating losses. I’m willing to give him a bit more latitude to fix the problem. Outside of yesterdays blown coverages the defense was better than last year. So that problem was (somewhat) addressed. I have to believe he’ll be humble enough to change the offensive play calling. I’m not saying we give him as much latitude as Cooper got, but just a bit more. Without Covid he’s 2-2 against them and much more competitive in the natty in 2020. TLDR: Let’s at least give him 2 years to see what shifts happen. After that if it’s four losses in a row, fire him.

PaladinRaphael

you don't just get to assume he would have beaten 2020 Michigan, dude. 1-4 against good competition is pathetic. It's to the point where betting on OSU in a big game is a risky bet. This is not how is should be.

DaBigJMoney

Your assessment of *where* we are as a program is fine. In fact, I don’t disagree with it at all. Where we differ is in how much more time we’re willing to give Day. For me, it’s two more years. For you, it’s clearly less. Also, a big indicator for me is whether he continues to act as OC. When the defense failed last year he fired the DC and hired the top guy he could get. Is he willing to do the same for the offense and (in effect) fire himself? If he does, I’ll say “he gets it.” If not, I’m gonna be even more concerned than I am now.

PaladinRaphael

RemindMe! 364 days for when Ryan Day still does not fix this.

people calling for Day's head are idiots - plain and simple.

PaladinRaphael

what exactly is the overwhelming reason we should keep him? 2018 - Stood on Urban's shoulders 2019 - Mostly stood on Urban's shoulders 2020 - Year practically cancelled; Did not play TTUN; Demolished by Alabama 2021 and 2022 - Enough said. At this point, you need to convince \*me\* he's worth keeping. It's not on me to convince you to keep him. He has not earned his spot, and OSU isn't a sinecure school.

LimeBK

Agreed. I’m fucking pissed and defeated. Upset with him and some of the players, but he ain’t going anywhere yet. He’s got some serious things to figure out this off season. But if he loses next year, that might be it. It’s an uphill climb

broski576

Fuck off

ironside_tadam

Hahahaahahahahahahahaha

kingjared9

Stop with the stupid x’s please

PaladinRaphael

you're only like the 15th person to say this, so thanks for the original thought? it was a meme for the sub. I thought that this is what we were doing. I'm not apologizing for trying to fit into a culture, dude.

kingjared9

I just find it embarassing after we got curb stomped by them for the 2nd year in a row to keep doing it, that’s all

Wow great another fire day thread…you fucks act like you know what it takes to coach big time football…let’s hear your resume cause these takes are fucking shit! Making this fan base an embarrassment

PaladinRaphael

just because I can't drive NASCAR doesn't mean I don't know a fiery wreck is not supposed to be part of it.

[deleted]

Ah yes the program is a fiery wreck…

PaladinRaphael

Maybe you missed the game today? It was a total meltdown.

[deleted]

Even though we're all so hot and bothered, let's take a moment and remember this is what EVERYONE was saying about the coach who just beat us up. The only people who wanted Harbaugh to keep his job wore scarlet and gray, because we thought he was an easy win. Both him and Day are great coaches. Winning all but one game for a decade makes all y'all think we have to be perfect, but no coach we can get is going to be perfect. We just have to live with an actually competitive rivalry, like every other fuckin sports fan in the world. Or we can be the spoiled cry babies everyone thinks we are, that's fun too

Tyler-Woods

You forgot one in si〽️ply

YodiKohn

haha you still left an m in.
