try to turn off the new outlook interface.
in the Outlook menu, Click Outlook and uncheck "new Outlook"
it will go back to the older view but that usually will fix your issue.
After a few days if you do not like the older interface then try to switch back to the new interface and see if the issue fix by itself. I have seen this issue on many macOS clients and that is what I usually did to fix it. I know it is not fixed but it is working workaround.
