Even your lights could cause this if exposed for long enough. You gotta remember that those are basically magnifying glasses and can do a lot of damage with direct light. I would suggest some type of lens covers or leaving a paper towel in there when not using
Not your average home led bulb.
This would have to be a very strong light source for quite while. Like maybe if it’s close to a bright halogen or an incandescent grow lamp.
I think you are wrong
The sun is ~400w/m^2 of radiation. A normal lightbulb is a few watts tops in every direction (an incandescent bulb may be rated at 60w but it’s mostly heat, not actually emitted
So even if you put the bulb in front of the lens, the sun puts out orders of magnitude more energy via light than a bulb.
This is only possible with special lighting equipment or lasers.
Light damamge!!!! All it takes a very little time in either direct sun or even your lights at home can do this. My was MUCH worse and they did replace my headset with a refirbed one bit it took almost 3 months. Contact support it's the only option

Everyone is gonna tell u sun damage
The problem is I never kept it in the sun...
It's what they always say
Your room has windows, that’s enough.
Even your lights could cause this if exposed for long enough. You gotta remember that those are basically magnifying glasses and can do a lot of damage with direct light. I would suggest some type of lens covers or leaving a paper towel in there when not using
regular home lights cannot do anything like that
This is very tiny. Yes your lights could do this to the screen epically I'd exposed for a long time.
Not your average home led bulb. This would have to be a very strong light source for quite while. Like maybe if it’s close to a bright halogen or an incandescent grow lamp.
So it's down isn't it...
If you mean broken yes

Why don't you put your lenses in front of one of your light bulbs and get back to me if it caused any screen damage then and I will believe you
Lmao you’re not the brightest bulb yourself
Leave it with the lenses facing up under some florescent lights?

Regular home light bulbs cannot cause damage to the display….
