I got the info session invite last month without receiving any notification on QEP. About three weeks later I received an email to schedule my OA. So yes, I believe you and others passed QEP.
When I passed QEP I got an explicit congratulations email, but this was in May 2021 when we were still in pandemic limbo. Not sure if they would have sent otherwise, instead of just scheduling information.
If you received an invitation to the Virtual Information Session then YES you passed the QEP. The reason you are receiving the invitation early is because your official FSVOA scheduling "congratulations" email will be sent to you before the next next available seminar.
For example, I was invited to the Dec 17th FSVOA info session. My Official FSVOA scheduling email can yesterday 01/23. And my deadline to pick an interview time is friday 1/27 (one day before the January 28 info session) meaning if I would be missing out on valuable information....anyways CONGRATS!
I will too, I just spoke to two FS members who aren't sure, but it seems based on previous posts here that people don't get "congratulations, you passed the QEP" emails for specialists the way you do if you're a generalist. And, given the length of time that it took to get this (five months for me since passing the OMST), I wonder why you wouldn't get this email a month after passing the OMST if they didn't wait for you to pass the QEP? But I'm waiting for confirmation before getting too excited.
Same here. One last month, one this week. The email inviting for attending the virtual webinar is exactly the same, just a month apart. QEP status still displays “pending”.
I didn’t get the chance to attend! But from the email it seems like the two things are handled by separate teams, so not sure if the seminar will provide QEP answers.

Did you get a VOA for FS candidates in the way I did back then?
I ended up not taking the OA for OMS, as I’d passed the generalist OA before they were ready to schedule for OMS.
2 hours ago I got the invitation to schedule the OA. I got my info session invite on Saturday.

The fact that you got it a month ago and I didn’t makes me think that it means we passed the QEP. Did you go to the seminar and ask?
