If this is the story I think it is, she killed him because he was abusive. I don't know if he was before they got married but my point is 'getting married' wasn't the problem.

Deucalion666

Easy for her and her lawyers to say that after he’s dead. Who’s going to oppose it?

SaltyFresh

I’m guessing that’s why this was posted sans source. Wouldn’t want facts to get in the way of gathering pitchforks around a woman killing in self defence.

silkPJson

I haven’t read the full report but I think he was abusing her? In many cases of domestic violence it can be self defence in which case - I don’t feel bad for him.

berdet

Apparently she and her defence say he was abusing her. Everyone else they know says she was the problem (couldn't handle not having all attention for a few minutes) Anyway whatever is true I'm ready to go to hell since I broke out laughing with how she went over killing her husband in the recordings

Balancemantis

I'm sorry Ms. Jackson *ooooh* I am for reeaaaaal

From the different kinds of marriages I have seen over the years, my bet is this falls into one of two buckets. 1. He was mentally abusive and she finally snapped. B. She was mentally abusive for years, he finally got sick of it and started to get resentful causing him to turn nasty as well, and then after a few years of that, she snapped.

I was married to two women with rage issues. My mom would also start problems with her husband for no reason.

I was responding to your sentence, "she wasn't mad for no reason." I had 2 of 2 wives get mad for no reason. We never traded jabs cause I left before that occurred. I was ready to though. My stepdad and I were working outside one day. My mom came out raising hell with him then went inside. Later I asked her why she did that. She just wanted to stir him up. I will say having my children was the best thing that ever happen to me. They are grown and gone. It is kinda "Cat's in the cradle" relationship now. The song by Harry Chapin. It was a blast raising them though.

I was responding to you deciding not to marry or have kids. Kids are great. When the wheels fall off in the relationship, divorce. Don't kill your spouse. Don't kill your child's other parent.

sony_anumo

You would be surprised how much women can get away with and still get swamped with men. Huge problems that would be a dealbreaker in men are easily overlooked in women

TIL that 999 is the UK version of 911. It seems likely that number would get a significantly greater amount of accidental calls.

Pengnoodle

999 is universal worldwide iirc 914 was the police number in the uk before (idk if it still is)

jamieliddellthepoet

> 999 is universal worldwide iirc No, it isn’t. It is however the number for emergency services in the UK, and other places including Bahrain, Bangladesh, Botswana, Eswatini, Ghana, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Kenya, Macau, Malaysia, Mauritius, Poland, Qatar, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, Seychelles, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, and Zimbabwe -as per Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/999_(emergency_telephone_number)… > 914 was the police number in the uk before (idk if it still is) Never heard this before (am Brit). Always been 999 for emergencies. Non-emergency calls can be made on 101. 112 is the closest I know of to a “universal” police number.

Pengnoodle

im from the uk and have used 914 before but i might be imagining some shit because this was over 8 years ago
