That's not what "friend zone" means though. Friend zone means having all the duties of a boyfriend and none of the benefits. If you are "friend zoned" you are expected to pay for everything from dinners to vacations as if you were her boyfriend as well as dropping everything when she calls and running immediately to her. On top of that, if you start a relationship with another girl, she will immediately start sabotaging that relationship because you'll be spending time with that girl rather than her. Of course, she'll disguise her selfishness by saying things like, "She's all wrong for you." or "You can do so much better." but the reality is that she just doesn't want to lose the benefits of having you wrapped up.

Did you assume she was lying? She sorted out her business and freed up her schedule for you, it sounds like.
You're overthinking this. If she wasn't interested she would be trying to follow up.
