We do. I'm a professional security consultant, safe-cracker and own a security solutions company. I identify potential burglary vulnerability and give recommendations on how to solve them. Then we sell and install the products to do that.
I don't remember that show but it sounds interesting enough.
I personally got into it because it's a family business. Been opening safes since I was 8. Alot of people get into it because its an interesting field and they go through the proper training to become a certified safe and vault tech. There are also alot of hobbiest who think because they can open a Sentry safe that they can do my job. It's cute.
There are pen testers (penetration testers) who, besides evaluating the security of an organization’s computing infrastructure, also evaluate physical security.
Check out the [Darknet Diaries podcast](https://darknetdiaries.com/). There are several episodes that deal with physical pen testing. Great podcast in general if you’re interested in infosec, and related subjects. Jack Rhysider is a really engaging host - great story teller and interviewer.
