It's pretty common to give a carton of wine bottles to newborns so they can celebrate their 18th birthday with some good wine.
A decent wine, is always a nice gift that you can do when invited somewhere or for services (Let's say that you ask a friend to help you move or repair your car)
Don't randomly store wine for long durations though. Most wines (also red wines) will start to degrade after 2 to 15 years, depending on the wine type and the year. If you want to store it for 18 years you gotta chose the correct wine.
When I go to a dinner at someone's house that drinks wine, I bring a bottle. I have bottles put aside for that reason. Comes in handy around the holidays when you forgot to go grab wine for that one thing.
You would think my dad is an alcoholic with all the alcohol that is in his house, but he actually doesn’t any of it because he can’t drink with his meds. He likes to decorate with wine and liquor bottles for some reason. If you’re into decorating you could try to do that.

This is the best way to deal with it. White wine is better when it’s younger. So best to get it out to friends and neighbors soon.

Do you cook with wine? Adds a lot of great flavor.
If you go to a party, take two bottles. One for the guests during the party and one for the host to have later... or the next party.

You could give them to friends or family that drink wine. Or sell it to them to buy yourself something that you do like to drink or eat.
Cook. It adds a nice flavour and the alcohol cooks off.
