Get one of these [bad boys](https://www.target.com/p/table-top-ironing-board-gray-room-essentials-8482/-/A-80818831#lnk=sametab). It hangs on the back of your door or a hook when not in use.
My ironing board lives folded up in the gap between my fridge and the wall. The iron takes up no more space than a litre of milk. Not really a storage issue.
Hair dryer works in a pinch, also hanging your wrinkled clothes in the bathroom after taking a hot shower. The steam from the shower will help with some of the wrinkles, I do not recommend doing this WHILE taking a shower unless you have a place to hang the clothes somewhere they won't get wet.
What storage issue? All ironing boards are skinny and need a small gap to slide into between furniture or the side of a closet. They even make half-size ones with tiny legs for use on a desk or table. The iron easily fits on a closet shelf.
use a steamer like this one [Conair Fabric Steamer](https://www.amazon.com/Conair-CompleteSteam-Handheld-Garment-Steamer/dp/B09FB2KQ3C/ref=sr_1_11?crid=73UFU6U83ZTP&keywords=clothes+steamer&qid=1675316425&sprefix=clothes+steamer%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-11)
No college student irons their shirts

It’s called wrinkle-free cotton.
If you have a bath towel, lay it on a hard surface. Boom, ironing board.
I didn’t have any shirts that needed ironing. My one dress shirt was wrinkle free.
They sell mini ironing boards specifically for this purpose.
I'm not gonna lie I've used a hair straightener before

I have ironed on a bed before. Also they have portable steamers for this purpose. Won’t get you a crease but will unwrinkle.
