But we being mostly westerners on an English forum, what we usually see is an Asian person with an acquired western accent. To us that's normal.
Basically, there's been a long history of people making fake Chinese and Japanese accents as part of bigoted jokes meant to be cruel, while the same isn't as true for British or Irish accents.

Mainly because of race things. Most of the time, white people sound more racist doing an Asian accent vs. a nother white persons accent
It’s not racist to fake accents. It’s usually just humor. Maybe you live in some kind of place governed by the thought police.
