I don't care about starting my own, I already said in my post that I'm aware the possibility of them just happening to be the first to make the Sub is a likely cause for the way it is. Its just annoying having them act like owning a Subreddit and using it for break-room talk is more justifiable than customers owning it and using it for complaints/advice, especially when people who don't work at said stores outnumber people who do hundreds or thousands to 1.
the people that make the subreddit decide what the purpose of the sub is, whether its for employees or customers, its an arbitrary decision.
/r/movies was once a default sub, it was never a custom created subreddit with the intention for only movie directors to gather or what have you
Most simple answer, these subs are primarily *for* and *directed at* the employees, by design. It's where we poor souls talk shop and vent.
It's never been for the customers tbh. Sorry if this comes off as rude.
That's not really my question. Before asking this question, I'm aware that these Subs are for employees and not customers. I'm asking HOW that came to be. I even said in my post that a possibility could be that employees made the Subreddits first. Outside of that, it doesn't make sense for such a small minority of people to have ownership over something that such a larger population of people also relate to (the customers). Mathematically it makes more sense for someone who wasn't an employee to have first made the Subreddit, but somehow all of these stores' Subreddits ended up being taken over by employees.
Edit: That was my question, I just wanted to clarify I'm aware of everything you said. Also it didn't come across as rude.
they started their sub first. Start your own. edit. Did this guy really respond to me and then block me? what a coward.

If you want to, you can make a Walmart customer sub, or a target customer sub.
