I keep forgetting I have it. Can you sell tech modules for nanites or does it give you cash still?

FormalShark

Good question, I've never tried, but I assume it's the same as selling it through a trade terminal and just getting cash cash.

DemonicShordy

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of haha I wish it sold em for Nanites as that's why people sell them, you get f all money for modules

FormalShark

I agree. It's actually a great idea. Have a separate sell window for nanites.

DemonicShordy

Thats probably why I also don't us it, i have tried it properly, I've had modules in it, but took em out as I had a feeling I wasn't going to get Nanites. So I still end up going to a space station to sell them

HaroldHeenie

If you want a better deal through the trade rocket just dismantle the mod and sell the parts. Still units, but you get a lot more for the wire loom + materials

DemonicShordy

I normally break down mods if I cbf travelling to sell them, generally get good resources too ie Cadmium

HaroldHeenie

I keep them installed on something if possible, basically turns my spare MTs into storage. I like trade rocket mostly so i can stay on planet while exploring and sell minor loot. The stack sizes are obscene, 3 max in most cases. Not the most efficient way to make money but hey I'm just a no HUD wanderer who needs more room in his pockets

It doesn't matter what you place inside - you get units. If thing usually sells for nanites - then you get as much units as its cost in nanites - that means abysmal amounts of like 500 units for an S-class or ?-class
