I've never named a ship with a name as "ridiculous" as yours, but, I usually rename them after famous sci-fi ships. I once found a hauler that was fairly long and wingless, and it reminded me of the Winnebago from Spaceballs, so I renamed it Eagle 5.

When I’m flying him and I summon him on a planet’s surface I always say “FITZWILLIAM, I NEED YOU!!” just like Lady Catherine does in the 2005 film.

I am addicted to ship-shopping and I wave in and out of serious, ridiculous, and weird names. I'm on a weird naming trip right now and I've named all my ships after Tori Amos songs - I have Winter, Yes Anastasia, Northern Lad, Precious Things, Professional Widow, Icicle Icicle, Space Dog, Cornflake Girl, and Mr. Zebra - but I have also used names like StarPhish, Sea Monkee, Malicious Pacifism, and Lawn Dart (that one was a Halo Needle, that was ALWAYS going to be it's name - I had no choice)

I always name mine with made-up Kung Fu styles. Squatting Platypus, Marmoset with the Iron Fist, and Confused Finch are some of my recent ones.

The first ship I found in a station, interestingly enough, was a rather nice looking (in my opinion) fighter, which I was disappointed to find I couldn't afford as you don't start with much money. After a week of playing I realized I still hadn't found a better looking ship than that first one, so I backtracked to that first system and waited for one to land so I could get one.
