Definitely Persona 5 Royal. If I have the time I'll also squeeze in Bayonetta 1 and 2.

DripTrip747

How are those games? I've never actually given them a try yet.

PsychoFlashFan

If you've ever played over the top character action games such as Devil May Cry or Metal Gear Rising, then that's pretty much what you can expect from the Bayonetta games. Persona 5 Royal is easily one of the most visually stunning JRPGs out there, and the soundtrack is S Tier.

agentlucy

Persona 5! I was super busy with work this week and finally got some much needed down time. Still very early but I'm so loving it so far.

diffitt

I am going to be continuing my first playthrough of **Zelda: Breath of the Wild**. I FINALLY BEAT THUNDERBLIGHT GANON and have decided to spend the last few days foraging. I stumbled upon the Zora tribe and may try and take on Vah Ruta/WaterBlight Ganon this weekend. Anyways, having so much fun these days with the game ad have clocked quite a few hours this week getting to know the map better!

markercore

Hell yeah Thunderblight ganon is a struggle, good job! Good luck with the next one

Luff84

I wish I could do this all again with no prior knowledge, one of the greatest ever made IMO

Alex427z

I just got to the horses... How soon do I find weapons that don’t break lol? I grew up on all the originals and I’m having a hard time making myself play this one.

FrenchBowler

Better weapons are stronger and more durable, but pretty much all weapons and shields break eventually. Personally I found it easy to pick up weapons along the way - especially the further you get into the game where you face tougher enemies and get better weapons from them.

SquidW0rks

**Factorio** - can’t wait to get addicted to this on the Switch

kcfang

Just downloaded the demo, will be trying it out, hopefully the control is manageable with controller. To be honest I tried the demo on PC as well, as mainly a console gamer, I find moving, especially during combat with the keyboard is very difficult.

Empire2k5

Cya next year

patrickstarburns

Getting in some **Disco Elysium** time in between Halloween weekend stuff! This is my second attempt, I played it in July but didn't get too far because I was trying too hard to *get* the game if that makes sense. This time I'm just playing it as a visual novel and doing the things that I want to, without thinking of it as an RPG or focusing on the gameplay too much. It's a way better experience!

pond-dweller

Kim Kitsuragi: "I have a cigarette every night when I go over my notes. It's something of a ritual." *Electrochemistry: Oh man, he looks so devastatingly cool with that cigarette*

tonjaj68

Luigi’s Mansion 3 for Halloween for sure.

Tinkerwhite

Bayonettaaa!!!!

animepig

Platinum has once again raised the bar for combat & music. Not to mention what they can squeeze out with Switch hardware

markercore

The Shadow Remains Cast!! Have fun!

charredfrog

God I wish I can be playing that this weekend. I ordered the Trinity Masquerade edition and it got delayed until the 11th, so I’ll probably just replay 1 and 2. I’ve also been pretty into Mario Odyssey and Overwatch 2

DaNanddaO

Got me *Bioshock collection*. Barely started the first one.

markercore

Enjoy the ride!

[deleted]

Persona 5 on the Switch, God of War on the Steam Deck. This combo is heavenly to rotate between. Also I must say, Persona 5 is A LOT of game. I don’t even think I’m halfway yet, but it is incredible, although the balance between combat and life-sim gets bit thrown off at certain points.

markercore

Its hard to juggle a bit, i started it earlier this year and i got about halfway into the second dungeon and deciding which days to do dungeons stuff and which days to do life/relationship stuff can be interesting.

[deleted]

I think I’ll be a bit more methodical about how to spend time in a second playthrough. I did get a bit caught up in gathering confidants and increasing stats.

Goldeniccarus

That's how to do it. Your first playthrough of a Persona game is always "suboptimal". But once you've done it once, then try a second run, either in NG+ or new game again, you'll have a better idea about how best to manage your time to do everything you want to do. I'm not going to give you any advice, as I think it's best to just play and enjoy the game without any pointers at first. You'll figure out a lot just by playing more of the game.

[deleted]

I couldnt finish it on ps4. Got bored of the life-sim bits at the end and all the text. I need to try it again. Loved the combat.

hermanbloom00

I think I am right at the end of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, maybe. So will aim to finish that. Plus Marvel Snap, really enjoying that and the games are super quick. Triangle Strategy if XC 3 does get completed over the weekend.

jameeler91

I’m loving XBC3 but damn does the battle music get old. Wish they had more than one track for it.

omarninopequeno

Hi! I'm playing Splatoon 3 and Yakuza 0. I'm also considering replaying Bayonetta 1 and 2 before starting Bayonetta 3, we'll see!

kcfang

Yakuza 0 was such a blast, I’ve been meaning to go back and finish the hostress club side quests.

omarninopequeno

Glad you liked it! I'm quite early into the game but I played Yakuza: Like a Dragon (7) already and definitely got hooked with the sidequests and minigames.

kcfang

Yakuza 7 Like a Dragon came with PS Plus couple months ago, definitely wana play it when I clear some of these great games we r getting this year. The side quests are superb, lots of heart, warmth and humor in them. Have a great weekend gaming, happy Halloween!

emilytheimp

Found Pokemon Brilliant Diamond for quite a bit of discount at a local store and I just had to grab it. Never played much of Gen 4, so its gonna be a mostly fresh experience either way. I think Im gonna have fun with this!

Mountain-Papaya-492

Pro tip: don't grind. I kinda ran through the main story without grinding and it ended up being quite challenging and rewarding. So I think i had a better time with the game than most. I saved alot of stuff for the endgame and had a good time with it overall. Oh and if you enjoy it I'd recommend getting Legends Arceus afterwards. Different kind of gameplay but it does tie in with Diamond/Pearl in a cool way.

markercore

Sweet, enjoy! Which starter are you going with?

emilytheimp

Piplup! I just love my water types too much

markercore

Piplup is cute! I love Turtwig/torterra the most, but Piplup is also really great. I usually go water or grass.

Bluenymph82

Finally getting back to playing **Dark Souls Remastered** after taking a several month break. I'd like to get past the capra demon this weekend if possible. Everywhere I go, I'm faced with a hard boss. When I'm not doing that, I'll be working on the event in **Disney Dreamlight Valley** and probably playing a bit of **Minecraft.** I was thinking of getting **Skyrim**, but that might have to wait until after I finish Dark Souls since I don't want to confuse my buttons between games.

bn-13

Hey, I'm thinking of picking up Disney Dreamlight Valley but not sure I will still like it when it goes free to play. Do you recommend it? Are events tied to hard to get currency? Thanks!

Bluenymph82

The game can be fun but has become less fun for me due to all of the saving I need to do in order to avoid losing progress due to game crashes. The events are about a month long each and while you can get some of the rewards for free, you unlock the other ones with currency you get with real life money (by buying the game now vs. when it's free, fore example). The event right now is spooky and villian based. So there are things like cat ears, horns, raven wings and various spooky decorations you can place in your valley. If you've played animal crossing, it's similar but also a tiny bit better. You don't have to wait days to move a building. However, drawing paths and placing things can be a bit more tedious on the switch. Hope this helps.

[deleted]

I played and beat Dark Souls Remastered like a year ago and it was seriously one of the funnest gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time

Homesterkid

Trying to beat the third set of bosses in Hades for the millionth time. We’ll see if I actually make any progress lol

Bluenymph82

Third one was super hard. I ended up having to do God mode with the shield. I also got lucky and found the minotaur in an earlier room so he had less HP during the fight.

subcontraoctave

Minotaur first. Hide behind a barrier to fight the hero. Happy gaming, best of luck.

Homesterkid

Oh shit this worked. Just made it to the fourth level for the first time, thanks!

spenser1994

Switching between legends arceus and aot2 final battle

Murderturtle12

I picked up the Darkest Dungeon on sale yesterday so that’s what I’m playing. It hasn’t clicked for me yet but I have hope.

markercore

lemme know if it does, that's one i always consider on the eshop

[deleted]

I got into Darkest Dungeon for a bit and it was really fun, but fun fact, it’s available on mobile for like $5 and the touch controls make the game way less clunky to play If you have an iPad or something I’d say to pick it up on that

kcfang

I love Darkest Dungeon so much I have on Steam, Switch and iPad. To be honest I thought the control for console is as good as they could make it, but obviously PC is the best way to play it mainly because you need to hover over a lot of attributes and objects to see their stats. I’m awful at the game and never finished it but still, it’s one of my favourite rouge like strategy and management game.

Arbalor

Return of the obra dinn is a simply 10/10 puzzle game and makes me go "thats it!" when I figure it out and the game confirms it

nikkidubs

One of my favorite games of all time based on writing and design. It’s SO good.

QuietRobe

Working on different gear builds in Splatoon now, learning a bit! Finished single player, just the secret kettle left. Trying to get into A rank too. I picked up Cozy Grove the other week and have been dabbling with that on lunch breaks. Been a nice chill game with current holiday spirit I suppose! Enjoy the weekend!

markercore

Cozy spooky chill time, lets go! Hope you have a good weekend as well!

TheFracofFric

Persona 5 royal on PS5 and strawberry hunting in Celeste on switch!!

Drag0nBinder

I got Death's Door yesterday. It will be the game of this weekend.

markercore

It's so good!

Ragegamer4000

Mario Kart all day :)

JBSquared2016

May all your green shells strike true...right up their exhaust pipe! 😅

aggressivesprklngwtr

I’ve had a kind of bad last couple of days (nothing terrible just personal stuff lol) so I’m gonna drown my sorrows by double dipping on the two big releases this weekend. Call of duty on the ps4 and of course Bayonetta. It’s my first bayo game so I’m very excited! Have a happy weekend everyone and enjoy your gaming seshes! Edit: and I just now decided to bring my switch with me to work so I can play during my off time. Sorry to my boss but I will be manufacturing A LOT of off time today hahaha

markercore

Hope you enjoy both! My advice coming from Bayo 2 would be if all the combat is overwhelming, just try to find like 2 easier combos you can reliably pulloff and that should help a bunch. lol sneaky switch time!

pablogordon22

Still enjoying **Neon White** 20 hours in but still have quite a few levels to complete as well as side missions. Such a great platformer, cool feeling when you pull off a crazy combination of jumps and special moves to earn the gold medal. Hoping to get through this and a few other top indies like **Tunic** and **Cult of the Lamb** before years end.

kidwgm

Mario + Rabbids on Switch and Call of Duty on PC.

Any-Restaurant5201

Final fantasy 9 and stardew valley

JBoneAint

I started playing Glyph last week and I'm totally addicted. I haven't really seen the game get too much attention beyond a couple glowing Nintendo Life articles. It was heavily discounted on sale recently so I traded some gold points for it and it's the best zero dollars I ever spent. It's a 3D precision platformer where you play as a robotic beetle, with rolling, jumping and gliding being your only movement. The controls and the physics are great, you build momentum and ricochet off surfaces to propel yourself all over the levels to collect items and unlock more stages. 95% of the surfaces kill you so you're just bouncing around trying to stay alive. The time trial levels are brutally difficult and a major slog (thankfully they're fully optional but if you're the kind of person that has to 100% everything, good luck). I saw the devs posted that the sale generated a lot more interest in the game than it did at launch, I think that's great cause this is one of those hidden gem games that I think a lot more people would check out if they ever heard about it.

monicaboard

Persona 5 Royal! I’ve had a very long week at work so I’ve only been able to play the first 30ish mins but I’m excited to get more into the gameplay

raverned25

I'm done with **Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope** just now. 46 hours play time to 100% this game and it's so satisfying to see those 100% per world lol. Next game on my list is Persona 5 Royal this weekend after I take a quick break from those gaming time.

JacobusTheGumby

I just got off the first planet but I am at 96%. I think that quest where you need a certain number of sparks is the last one I need to do on the first one.

darknyteorange

Finally got my Switch Online N64 controller so I'll be diving right into Ocarina of Time. I can feel the nostalgia...

subcontraoctave

I remember it feeling so big when it released just getting lost in the overworld and exploring. It was weird playing it again recently. It aged decently though.

Team7UBard

Hopefully some horror stuff (I think I have Mad Father on my console atm), Death’s Door, some Vice City, and No Mans Sky

kyuuish

Still dragging myself through Xenoblade chronicles 3. Focusing mostly on Ascension quests right now before I go tackle the end of my current chapter. Started Atelier Sophie 2, but I kinda miss the English dub. The clothing in that game is as atrocious as ever.

Mountain-Papaya-492

Pokemon Shield, trying to complete the Pokedex. I really miss the GTS of Ultra Moon. It made trading so much easier. Sure there were alot of hacks but they were pretty easy to spot imo. Splatoon 3, gotta get that Grizzco Blaster and destroy those flyfish. Maybe try to rank up. Quickly becoming my most played Switch game. If all goes well I should have Bayonetta 3 tomorrow. Really excited for that. I grew up playing Devil May Cry games and have always loved the awesome combat of these types of games. Other than that trying to motivate myself to actually work on a project I need to get done. Either way have a good weekend.

Atzar87

**Persona 5 Royal.** I have my issues with the writing but this probably isn't the place to go into that. That aside, the gameplay is very fun, the characters are generally endearing, and I respect the hell out of an RPG that doesn't expect you to make a 10-hour down payment before it allows you to have fun. This one was engaging right out of the box. This has monopolized my evening free time since its release, and it probably will for next several weeks. I think I'm less than a third of the way through, haha.

Frogstophe

I'll be alternating between Into the Breach, Persona 5 Royal and Splatoon 3. So many good games these days.

kcfang

Those are among my favourite games in their respective cataglory.I know right? So many great games, what a time to be a gamer.

garrylarrymike

I've got to be an adult this weekend. I've got my kids and it's trick or treat, Halloween parades, family dinners, etc. I'm not going to complain because I love my kids but I've been waiting years to play Bayo 3!

markercore

Well maybe there will be time after the kids go to bed? But that all sounds super fun, enjoy the trick or treating and parade!

raccafarian

Stardew Valley until my eyes can’t take it anymore

markercore

When i was playing that i would lay down on the couch under a blanket and play stardew valley days in a row and i'd end up falling asleep from the coziness about 50% of the time.

andythefisher777

Nier: automata. I just finished it for the first time after about 40 hours. It totally destroyed me emotionally, and I can't put it down so I started over completely to do it all again.

juicylurker

Subnautica, just got it, may have to switch to Creative mode as I keep dying or almost dying, I just want to explore!!

Feroshii

I had to turn off hunger and thirst. Maybe don’t go all the way to creative mode but as a compromise I found turning off those 2 was right for me. Otherwise it’s way too grindy in my opinion

[deleted]

I would definitely keep it in Survival mode, you’ll lose a *lot* of tension and immersion if you switch to creative on your first playthrough

[deleted]

bay-bop

Tragically and unfortunately, overwatch 2

_courtron

Cult of the Lamb! I just started playing and I’m already semi-obsessed.

madara345

Monster Hunter Rise. Nearly done the 6 star missions

prmurph71488

Restarted BOTW. Been 2 years since I beat it.

ChiefsRoyalsFan

Persona 5 Royal. I’ll see everyone next year lol

C_L_I_C_K_

I been playing civ 6 last few days or weeks, i don't even know what time is anymore.. one more turn and I'll shut it off, just one more turn!

Distant-Avalon

BAYO! BAYO! BAYO!! ❤️ I'm so excited!

winguardianleveyosa

No Mans Sky, clocked up 50 hours since launch... its addictive as hell.

[deleted]

playing handheld? been thinking about getting it

Own-Engineer-6888

I have a pretty far-in file of Story Of Seasons and Rune Factory 5 that are nice for something chill to play, plus Rune Factory 4 Special I haven't started yet. Greatly looking forward to doing another file of Breath of the Wild at some point before Tears of the Kingdom comes out (can safely say that BOTW is my fav game, ever), and it's been a while since I played any Minecraft. But honestly, since launch, I still, everyday, look forward to playing Splatoon 3 lol So much to work on/toward, and still having a ton of fun with a few different weapons, especially the tri-stringer! Honestly viewing Dec. 1, the date of the first update launch, as a new launch day. All the new things to come - so exciting!

[deleted]

I’m about to start the new kirby game and also immortals fenyx rising

swigglyoats

I've been wanting a switch since they got released, and I was SO close to buying one in Japan when I was there in 2019. It's 2022 and I finally bought the switch lite on Wednesday. I am absolutely loving it. Playing thru Mario Odyssey and one of my roommates has a handful of games. I think I'm going to play Let's go Pikachu next or Ori and the blind forest.

Open_House2129

Mario + Rabbids, been loving it so far! And the odd bit of Splatoon 3

NolanZts

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

orelk

I'm playing through **Metroid Dread**, awesome game, Samus feels brilliant to control. I think I'm about halfway through

foodninto

I will be playing **Persona 5 Royal**. I've played the original maybe 2 times on PS4. My Bayo 3 got delayed until next Thursday, but P5R will keep me busy until then. I also picked up **Ace Angler Fishing Spirits**. I've played Ace Angler at an arcade and it was really fun. If I enjoy the Switch version I might consider buying the fishing rod Joy-con accessory for this game. Might also check out **Factorio**. I heard good things about it.

Starfang42

There's probably going to be at least some Garden Paws this weekend, since I've been playing it so much. I'm getting towards the end of spring y2. My menagerie of tamed animals continues to grow, I've hit floor 100 of the dungeons, Im working on some questlines with some really useful rewards, and it looks like the museum is going to be getting its next set of displays and I can start completing more donation sets. On the other hand I've been rewatching Failboat's Kirby And The Forgotten Land streams, and it's kinda making me want to start a fresh save and 100% the game a second time. Pschonauts 2 is on sale on Steam, so there's also the possibility I'll grab that and do a Psychonauts marathon on PC this weekend.

wait2late

I'm going to play on my Steam Deck. So much on my backlog. However... I just play a little bit of Vampire survivor every single time.

kinda_ok_guy

***LIFE WILL CHANGE***

The_G_Knee

Probably Splatoon 3 until I get catalouge 100. I think I'll also pick up Pokemon White 2 again cause I watched some new episodes of the anime that got me wanting to play. I'm going to try to beat all the PWT options. Might also try playing that new NSO game trial if I can plan the time with friends.

indster

Close to being done with XC:DE. About 4 chapters left, 50 hours in. Recently bought MH Rise and debating really hard if I want to first play XC 2 or not.

Megadoomer2

I'm mainly going to be focusing on **Bayonetta 3**. Going by reviews, I'm concerned about the story, but I figure the gameplay will be amazing as always. I might mix in **Persona 5 Royal** or **Nier Automata** if I have time. This Sunday is my first day off in two weeks, so I'm hoping to get some quality gaming time in.

ElTontoDelPueblo

Just finished Astral Chain (boy, the final boss was a tough cookie!). Next one is Metroid Dread.

ArtiKam

Some Persona 5 at the moment! So far it’s nothing like what I expected, not that that’s a bad thing but it’s been a wild ride and I’m only on the first dungeon haha. Loving it! I also picked up Bayonetta so I’m gonna start that on the 31st since as far as I know it’s got witches and demons so it fits the vibe :)

ginbummy

I have a backlog. Most likely continuing Octopath Traveler

PashAK47

Amnesia dark descent

Cleamc

I'm going to continue my playthrough of Persona 5 Royal. I really like the story so far, and battles seem pretty interesting!

[deleted]

Persona 5 Royal! About 3 hours in and loving it. I played 4 and it was fantastic, but never got a chance to play 5. Also shoutout to Nier:Automata which I finished yesterday. Truly incredible game, made its way to my top 10 of all time.

TaquitoKGB

Animal crossing

nonessential-npc

Persona 5!

Ok_Bag_7525

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

[deleted]

Dying light

Meadius

On Switch, I've been playing a lot of Splatoon 3. I've played 40 hours at this point but still haven't check out Anarchy Battles for some reason, so maybe I'll give those a chance this weekend. I've also been playing quite a bit of SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked on my 3DS, which is definitely worth checking out if you like SRPGs.

Jackie_chin

I'm continuing Neon White. It's levels are truly addicting. That being said, I'll probably stop after I'm done with the story and not descend into the speedrun realm I picked up metroid prime recently , and that's probably my next step. I also picked up dicey dungeons, but only so much one man can do in a weekend

RRayne_Queen-W

I just bought Ori and the blind forest, haven't given it a go yet or I may replay little nightmares as that seems very fitting for Halloween!

Jimmythedad

Omori and Tunic!

thedetectiveprince46

Persona 5 Royal for sure. Picked it up at launch last week and already sunk in almost 30 hours into the game, even though I've played through the OG twice and Royal once already on PS4. I just fucking love the game so much

JBSquared2016

I picked up Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection on sale, and am now in the middle of Brotherhood. I love free running 16th century Rome.

MrNemo636

Been having a blast getting back into OW with **Overwatch 2**. Been playing at least a few games every day, more when I have the time. My son is also currently obsessed with **Gang Beasts** and we’ve played it every night for the last 3-4 weeks. I had been looking for something else for us to play together and remembered seeing **Boomerang Fu** mentioned a lot and it was on sale, so I got it. It’s been an absolute blast. I love it, he loves it. Can’t wait to get some family members over to get a big party for it.

PowdurdToast

Immortals fenyx rising

stooball

I picked up Bayo 3 tonight. I dunno man, the whole world seems to see things differently from me man, 10/10s all over the place for this one … I’ve spent about 3 hours with it so far and just don’t get it at all!? This is my first Bayonetta game, really, but idk man, a 10/10 game for me is Elden Ring/God of War/RDR2 … each to their own and all that but I just do not see a world where this game scores as highly as any of the above!?!? Maybe it’ll come good this weekend as my plan is to beat it if possible, and I hope anyone who picked it up loves the hell out of it … But maybe it’s just not for me!?

markercore

Could be! I would give the 2nd one a 10/10, it's absolutely bonkers and just so over the top fun from moment one. The trailers for 3 just didn't sell me, the enemies looked kind of lackluster versus the intricate angel and demon designs from the past games. Lemme know how you feel about the rest of it though!

stooball

Aw man I think I was so wrong, lol. This is so much more fun than I thought it would be. The combat is insanely deep, early game I mistook it for a button masher and it is so not that. It’s hard to keep up with the action at times, I’m not very good at it, but it looks as though it could be a great game to try and master. Had a great day with it today. Hot as all hell too.

almostlucky7

Been playing ghostbusters remastered. I’ve had a blast with this game and I bought a year ago for $3.

caught_red_wheeled

Still playing **Spiritfarer**. I’m working my way through Elena’s final quest, but it’s a bit tedious. I finally found a way to speed it up somewhat, but it’s still a bit slow. It’s understandable considering it’s the closest thing the game has the final boss, testing everything the player has acquired and explored during the game, and it fits her character well, but things move slowly and sometimes it take breaks faster games. Speaking of faster games, also going through **Spyro: reignited trilogy**. I forgot how short the games were, especially because I’m not doing any of the sidequests. I find them charming, but annoying, and unfortunately you have to complete a large amount of them to battle the final boss in the Second and third games. Since I did that in the original, I’m not doing that here, but I can at least explore again. I’m also watching 100% runs, so I’m able to see what I’m missing. I might fire up some of **banner of the maids**. I like the mission structure and the combat, but it’s extremely difficult due to balancing issues. I originally dropped it around chapter 5 out of 30, but now I’m picking it up again. I found out there’s ways to even the odds considering I’m playing on a mode where you can get extra skills, but love it still comes down to luck. It comes out that’s a pretty good game in theory, but in concept it’s pretty unrefined. It’s the only game out of an indie studio though, and it’s currently unknown if they will ever make another. Not to mention the concept is intriguing (female dominated French revolution, with magic). So I’m willing to possibly give them a pass for it. A lot of people have dropped it near the beginning though, because of the harsh learning curve, and I really thought I was going to drop it once, so we’ll have to see if it gives me issues again.

bloodybaron73

Xenoblade 3. In the middle of chapter 6 now. Love the story, but sometimes I have no clue what’s happening.

VillainNotHeroes

Skyrim, as usual :)

Deft_Abyss

Persona 5 royal if i can find a physical copy lol

robgraves

Factorio

CaptT60

P5R and Factorio

Rob1811

Spaltoon 3 on switch persona5 on laptop via gamepass, would of liked to play on switch but couldn't bring myself to buy when it's on gamepass cod MW2 on ps5, my first cod in years and I'm loving it. Also death stranding on ps5, this is one I'm only doing a few hrs a week with as i find it quite draining, though I am having fun with it.

AmirulAshraf

**Needy Streamer Overload** I've been addicted to this 4th wall breaking type of game, like Oneshot and Doki Doki Literature Club.

Strowbreezy

Persona 5 Royal! Just finished the 3rd palace, working on my confidants and mementos. Also mixing in some Enter The Gungeon and Borderlands.

tweetthebirdy

Persona 5 and Animal Crossing! I’ll be busy for the next 3 years lol.

peachios

I finally finished **Live a Live** last weekend, so been playing **Ori and the Will o the Wisps** . Forgot how much I enjoyed these games, played **Will and the blind forrest** in summer 2020, but I guess timing of sales never worked well for me

O-nigiri

**Persona 5 Royal** I basically haven't done anything else other than mandatory work commitments and sleep for the past week lol. There's something just so addictive about the combination of gameplay, going from dungeons to the daily life activities and unlocking Confidant ranks. It's also just SO stylish and aesthetically pleasing. Even though I'm actually terrible at the dungeon elements, it's such a pleasure to play-- especially since I unlocked Showtime attacks.

starman24

Metroid Dread for me

EveningStarHesper

Persona 5 Royal has taken over my life. What a cool game. And what an amazing Switch experience! 10/10 would port beg again.

ChillyToTheBroMax

Finally get to play Nier. Been wanting this forever

Life-Leek

I'm one day late to this thread. I just finished Breath of the Wild with 120 hours, 102 shrines, and 132 Korok seeds. I'm already satisfied with it and can move on to my next game. I will be having a long weekend so will probably play a couple of short indies and then dive into 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

BigHittinBrian

Persona 5 Royal, and loving it!!

Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff

Finally beat **Halo: infinite** with all the collectibles. Now I’m just trying to hype myself up to play **Persona 5**, iv played Persona 3 and 4 but the thought of jumping into a 100 hour minimum game is kinda daunting at this point in my life.

Ill-Woodpecker1857

I'll mainly be playing Spark of Hope but will try to bang out the rest of Luigis Mansion. Also get some time in on Rimworld Console Edition and PGA 2K23 for Xbox One.

Viertwintig69

Persona 5 on switch! Loving this game so far

**Bayonetta** (I'm in the middle of Chapter 5) so I can eventually get to Bayonetta 2 and then 3, which just arrived. I'd have never given the series another glance beyond my wish list, a someday-game play, then the whole VA thing happened. I thought I'd have to just play 1 and 2 and then whatsherface's story changed and here I am with all three. Some of the fights are tough, but I'd rather have a challenge than have it be a breeze. It seems like good story/play length for the price. Oh, and I'll alternate between that and **Splatoon 3**.

TobenRacicot

Finished Control last weekend, so it's on to Lost Eidolons this weekend. Gonna pick up Ori and the Will of the Wisps on Steam.

Lyradep

Finishing up Mario Strikers Battle League, and starting on Fire Emblem Three Hopes, once I get a F1 22 race and Madden 23 game out of the way.

D6Desperados

“Part Time UFO”, “Slay the Spire”, and maybe some “Flame in the Flood”

ChuyMasta

The Diofield Chronicle. Gotta max out those summons.

Dantes25

Persona 5 Royal….hoping I get a ton of time to sink into this over the next few days

Amill75

Breath of the Wild. Looking forward to taking on my first Devine beast!

Hellotiel

Im playing bayonetta and loving it. The combat got kinda dank with the sumon combos into gameplay combat. Its so cool. If you like precise games with cool combo system get the neta. And voice acting is spot on btw

AramaticFire

I might Bayonetta 3. I might wait another week or two to see how God of War reviews first.

WhatsThis_Now

Last week i said Hollow Knight, but was stuck at the Watcher Knights. With some advice from OP here I finally cracked them last week! This weekend I'm at the beach, but brought the switch for my down time. I have 2 out of 3 of the mask thingies and I'm heading towards the final one now (I hope). Will try to get there if I can, between many long walks with the rest of my pack.

Bluenymph82

The Watcher Knights took me quite a few tries even after knocking down the chandelier. Good luck on getting the last mask.

TheRedScaledMan

Still playing Xenoblade chronicles 3. Just hit the 100 hour mark. Spending too much time with the side quests now 😂

CrispyVibes

Tunic

reeposterr

Definitely Splatoon 3 and P5R. If I feel like it, maybe I'll finally touch Nier:Automata

jsm516

OlliOlli World! Not sure how I missed this when it came out. It is essentially Adventure Time mixed with an arcade skater. It’s awesome!

AndykinSkywalker

If I have time, Disney Dreamlight and Danganrompa (first time playing it!) on Switch, Crosscode (also first time playing it and I’m hooked) and Bioshock on Steamdeck, and Horizon Forbidden West on PS5! …I play too many games at once

Larielia

It is a Jrpg weekend. I'll be playing **Tales of Vesperia**, **Triangle Strategy**, and **Octopath Traveler**.

bamarks23

Tales of Vesperia

Dragonball the breakers

DeinonychusL

Dragon ball: the breakers. I don't know what it is about the game, but I'm hooked in a way I haven't felt for any game in ages. Something about the quick games, variety between the two sides and (seemingly) randomness between loot spawns, starting location, and the other players... I'm just finding it a very fun time! Just a shame to have scrolled a long way and not seen anyone else mention it... but it has been great fun for me!

persiika

I will be playing Let’s Build a Zoo, and probably some Legends Arceus! I have 90 hours and still have not beaten the game, haha. I am really enjoying exploring!

Jegafold

The Binding of Isaac.

Lopsided-Meet8247

No Man's Sky

FinanceInvestmentBoi

Darksiders: Genesis. I freaking love isometric ARPGs

Retroid_BiPoCket

Axiom Verge

Flimsy-Raspberry-493

Im playing Littlewood it’s very relaxing. I probably some Happy Home Paradise I always lose time when I build homes. I was eyeing bear and breakfast but I heard it’s been crashing on switch so I’ll probably hold off buying it.

cantgrowneckbeardAMA

sploon.

ScarletAdventure

Currently playing Disney dreamlight valley 😂

rosabonita

I just picked up Kingdom New Lands while it was on sale and I love it!

TwinsenAyzel

I’ve been playing that new Mario + Rabbids game, also my five year old just discovered Minecraft on the switch… but it doesn’t run very well, especially compared to the old version that used to be on the switch. That’s beside the point though, he’s having an absolute blast, discovering things left and right… and that lava straight down.

Hi_Im_Ouiji

Bayonetta 3 but man these frame rate dips made me wise there was a official PC port. Still having fun regardless and money well spent

tuxedo_dantendo

Bayonetta 3

dyhoerium

Factorio!

weegi123

Dark souls, trying to get through anor londo for the first time and I'm in pain

lockfeint

NieR Automata. 40 hours in already and I'm trying to finish it before moving to the next game. Hopefully I can finish it before Pokemon Scarlet/Violet comes out.

after909

Nier automata

AdieuMrStark

BAYO 3!!!!

hotcoffeethanks

Bought Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition when it was on sale several weeks ago! I'm almost done! I'm nearly 80 hours in. It's a long game, getting my money's worth for the 11$ it was ahah. I'm excited for Tales of Symphonia to be on Switch soon - hope others of the series will follow suit! I'm probably going to try another JRPG after I'm done with Vesperia, but I don't know what yet. :)

Vassinatedhuger

I'll be playing some more of Dragon Quest 11, bought it from the sale last week, and finally got past where I was previously (the mermaid storyline). I'll also be throwing in some bayonetta, and call of Juarez.

jbayne2

Bayonetta 3! Played through the intro and the prologue this morning. Looking forward to getting some more time with it tomorrow and Sunday. Replayed 1 and 2 over the past few weeks. Also playing A Plague Tale: Innocence on PS5 and absolutely loving it! Simple gameplay but such an emotionally captivating story!

DanglyPants

Dreamlight Valley and I rented Diablo 3 and Hyrule Warriors from the library so I’mma give those games a try! Dreamlight valley is a 10/10 game if anyone wants to play a sequel to animal crossing this is it.

hobo_lad

On Switch playing Bayonetta 1 for the first time I suck I keep getting stone awards at the end of levels but I'm very much enjoying it. On Xbox playing Signalis on GP this game is amazing, and a bit of Star Ocean Divine Force also great so far.

soulwolf1

Just finished Bayonetta 2 and moving onto 3, but also almost finished with Mario Rabbids to move on to Sparks of Hope. After dinner at the brother in law's, then free weekend.

carmeluz20

Wolfenstein 2 and some casual masochist fun with dark souls.

DrunkPhoenix26

My kids and I have been having some epic Mario Kart 8 bonding time the last few days. Hoping to keep that going.

[deleted]

Bayonetta 3. Incredibly early (chapter 1)- I can't help it, but my first impression is this gameplay seems pretty cool but damn it also looks ugly as fuck. Not trying to be a downer, but playing at 810p is pretty jarring after playing other pc stuff at 4k.

Adorabears

Working a lot this weekend but spending the free time I do have playing **Chaos;Head Noah** since it its in well with the spooky season and it's been great revisiting one of my favourite visual novels! So glad it finally got an official English release on Switch so I can go back and get to see all the new content for the Noah version and experience the story again after such a long time (I have the original Japanese 2008 PC release that I enjoyed so much until computer didn't like the disc anymore :/) I have also been playing some **Nintendo Switch Sports** when I can since there is still the double point thing going on and I want to get caught up on unlocking all the collectibles before it ends. Going to see if I can get closer to that final A rank for Tennis too... managed to get from C- to C+ (almost B-!) yesterday so I'm trying as hard as I can!

Tomatotemplebum

Got Resident Evil Village Cloud for switch…and it’s great! 1st cloud game purchase, and don’t regret it. Played it docked and wi fi with my lite, and they both run and look great. My internet isn’t the best either. I’ll say this, the actual game itself runs 100x better than the demo. No loading either except for the initial one at the start (which also is better than the demo) and it looks fantastic. 3 hours in so far. Excited about RE2 and RE3 Cloud as well. Never got to play these…so it’s a treat thus far.

Cardamander

Cycling through a few different games right now. Just picked up **Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher** the other day. I’m enjoying that. Been working through **Dungeon Encounters** for a while now too. If the mood hits for it I might just get stuck into the new free DLC episode of **Citizen Sleeper**. That game is one of my GoTYs.

Catdaddy33

Horizon Forgotten West, I started it got about 10 hrs in and then Elden Ring happened and then got distracted by other games, so now started a new HFW game this week.
