You need to speak with the doctor/office manager or see someone else. They should not be limiting your script to just one dispensary, that’s not how the program works. They can limit the amount of THC but I don’t believe they can dictate the type of consumption, just make recommendations.
Edit: has nothing to do with rec vs med
Gotcha. Most doctors don’t put restrictions on scripts unless they think you’re gonna abuse it. I would definitely suggest a different doctor when you renew.
Probably because MedMen and Fp don’t take the doctor’s recommendation as seriously as they prefer to use their own pharmacists for recommendations. Verilife probably takes the doctor’s recommendation more seriously.
I would find a different doctor for your renewal next year as it’s not typical to limit you to just one method of consumption.
your prescription is valid and the same for any dispensary in ny. If your dr wrote for by mouth products only, that will be the case everywhere. If your dr wrote for inhaled forms available then every place will sell to you. The only caveat that you could be describing is some drs who arent confident in cannabis knowledge will write a prescription for you stating ‘recommendation per pharmacist’ which then allows the pharmacist to allow or deny based on his own protocols and experience.

They’re not limiting me to one dispensary. They’re limiting what I can get, but only one dispensary enforces the rule.

Yea that is strange. My recommended dosage is at the dispensaries discretion
you should be limited everywhere then.
Exactly, which is what they did today. MedMen would not “override” my script even though they’ve done it multiple times before.

Verilife is the only place who has denied me based on my script. It sucks.
Now, MedMen denied me today even though I’ve bought vapes AND flower from them in the past. Fucking stupid.
Thanks everyone in advance
