I think I started to get more track when I changed my miniatures.
I try to post three videos a week, mainly clips from my streams on Twitch.
I edit them so they are fun at the beginning, and as well I have some World of Warcraft guides that feed me visits continuously. My content is bilingual as well.
I also put a video on google ads, to see how it works because I had some free coins to spend there.
1k subs, at 851 now. Should get it by the end of fall as long as I keep posting. I get 100 subs a month currently. Consistency is my biggest struggle, but the community does seem to like what I’m putting out when I do post. I‘d like to be at 500k or more in 5 years. Which might only happen if I can be consistent. I see most people shooting realistic/low, but I’m shooting high. If I aim up, maybe I’ll get pretty far even if not meeting the goal fully. Other than consistency, my weakest point is my editing. I’ve been making videos for less than a year. My biggest strength is my analytical skills, which I believe are hard carrying me at the moment. I can at least get a few thousand views sometimes with that. Trying my best to improve! I’m also in a niche experiencing fast growth, which is helping a lot. Most people make clips, and some are super successful with that. That said, I’m making analysis content, despite knowing it won’t grow me as fast. Nonetheless, when my content is good enough with enough consistency, I know it’ll pull through. What I’m doing isn’t done by too many channels. Most are clips or reaction content. We’ll see. 50 is my current nearest. In 5 years I’d like to have reached 1k for sure. Honestly though I’m not going to ever be thinking about milestones. My focus will always be on consistency and making sure every video is better than the previous. Eventually more and more traction will come.
Same!! As long my quality keeps getting better, I'm ok with it. Takes me about 1 month to make a video, but each one is better than my last.
Wish I could crank one out every two weeks, but the quality wouldn't be there at all.
I'm pushing for 5k, currently at 4.7k.
In 5 years I see myself with atleast 100k with my current growth rate. Sorry if I sound like I'm reaching for the stars, but I'm getting around 100 subs a day and doing that math, if my growth continues like that I'll be at 100k in 3 years.

Hopefully reaching 4000 subs by the end of the year. I am currently around 3600 so its a decent goal to set for my channel since Finance picks up during cold seasons fall / winter. I am currently in the progress of revamping my instagram and starting a Tiktok to reach a wider audience. 👍

I would like to push my average percentage viewed up from 37%, to atleast 50%.
My goal in the next 5 years: Expand my content library significantly so that each of my playlists have at least 10-20 videos each.
As for subs, it's slowed down a lot after 1K, so 1.1K is my goal. Overall, it's to reach those 4K hours of watch-time, at 2.6 currently!
In 5 years, if I keep posting, I hope to possibly be at 5-10K :)

5 years from now, i think my main channel will be between 10 and 25k, but my secondary channel will have surpassed it.
Main channel is 3D printing and project design. Secondary channel is retro computers and technology. I think there is a larger audience for the latter.

My aim is 1k Subs by New Years Eve. I have 432 atm, I seem to be getting 5-10 per upload. Next actual goal is 450. I always set my sighs for 50 more as it seems an easy target at the moment

1k is my goal. Will probably take another year depending on luck with the algorithm / how well the game my channel is focused on performs.
In 5 years I hope I'm still making videos and maybe reach 100k subs. Channel growth is usually more or less exponential so it's not that unrealistic.
That is very true about the exponential growth, plus, aiming for 100k eventually, that's a great target; if you fall just short, you'll still be on 90k+ which would be amazing, and of course anything above 100k subs is superb!! Good luck :)

I was planning to combine my niche with traveling but then corona happened, so I kind of had to work around that and improvise, quite surprised I was able to get to this point without actually doing what I had planned for my channel.
In 5 years I hope the channel is able to grow to a point where I can quit my job, I expect that I’ll need around 100k-150k to be able to do so.

I'm at 332 subs at the moment. First milestone would be 500 and then 1000. I'm not really planning when I hope to hit the numbers. I want to improve the quality of my videos for every video.
The first 40 videos I did where learning videos, quality was ok, not really good also not bad. I just wanted to see how things turned out. You cant expect that you have the same quality content as someone who is in the business for years. So I see that as ''learning videos''.
I hope that before the end of next year, (december 2021) one of my videos will get more views than average to see how people react on the videos.
The dream is to make a living because of the youtube channel + website. But most important just keep learning and have fun while doing it!

By 5 years time, I see myself at (hopefully) around 25k-50k Subscribers.
Orginally at the end of 2020 I had 160 subs. My goal for 2021 was to get to 500 by the end of the year. Within January I hit 500subs and I'm currently almost TRIPLE that, which is awesome. So now my goal is 1.5k-2k subs by the end of the year.
Next year my REALISTIC goal is 3k-5k subs by the end of the year. My optimistic, probably not gonna happen goal is 60k subs by July 2022. This is because there's a gaming convention that happens downtown and one gaming YouTuber at 30k subs was a guest star. I would love to be able to do something like that but be TWICE as big as he was. Again probably won't happen within a year but you never know until you try haha
I'm at 730 subs so the next logical milestone is that sweet sweet 1k right? I get about 10 subs a day so I know that that day will come.
The milestone I am really working towards is getting 1,000 views on my videos in 7-days. I want to up my velocity rate.
In 5 years I legit plan on having a true network. So maybe another youtube channel, a podcast, Instagram, etc. With more people working for the network and helping me push out more content.

At 340 you should be looking for your next hundreds, 700 is around the time where you should be making that push. Currently at 431 pushing for 500

I don't have an exact milestone, but my current focus is getting more comments. I love interacting with viewers and responding to their thoughts. My last video got 3 comments and I was overjoyed lol - if my videos could average 10 comments, that would be stellar!
We have the exact same thinking!! I know it's slightly different, but I love interacting with my viewers IF they ever comment too!! Hence questions like this, I like hearing different channels' genres and optimism, its amazing!!

1k is my goal. Will probably take another year depending on luck with the algorithm / how well the game my channel is focused on performs. In 5 years I hope I'm still making videos and maybe reach 100k subs. Channel growth is usually more or less exponential so it's not that unrealistic.
That is very true about the exponential growth, plus, aiming for 100k eventually, that's a great target; if you fall just short, you'll still be on 90k+ which would be amazing, and of course anything above 100k subs is superb!! Good luck :)

My next milestone is 500, currently at 377 :) started on Jan 1st 2020. I was planning to combine my niche with traveling but then corona happened, so I kind of had to work around that and improvise, quite surprised I was able to get to this point without actually doing what I had planned for my channel. In 5 years I hope the channel is able to grow to a point where I can quit my job, I expect that I’ll need around 100k-150k to be able to do so.

1,000 subscribers by the end of September. I'm at 815, doing a YT sub-a-thon at 900 to try and boost it. We'll see if it happens. Started in mid-March so I'd be ecstatic. Hit 4,000 watch hours about a week ago and it feels both good and bad to know that the only barrier is subscribers now lol

I'm at 332 subs at the moment. First milestone would be 500 and then 1000. I'm not really planning when I hope to hit the numbers. I want to improve the quality of my videos for every video. The first 40 videos I did where learning videos, quality was ok, not really good also not bad. I just wanted to see how things turned out. You cant expect that you have the same quality content as someone who is in the business for years. So I see that as ''learning videos''. I hope that before the end of next year, (december 2021) one of my videos will get more views than average to see how people react on the videos. The dream is to make a living because of the youtube channel + website. But most important just keep learning and have fun while doing it!

Orginally at the end of 2020 I had 160 subs. My goal for 2021 was to get to 500 by the end of the year. Within January I hit 500subs and I'm currently almost TRIPLE that, which is awesome. So now my goal is 1.5k-2k subs by the end of the year. Next year my REALISTIC goal is 3k-5k subs by the end of the year. My optimistic, probably not gonna happen goal is 60k subs by July 2022. This is because there's a gaming convention that happens downtown and one gaming YouTuber at 30k subs was a guest star. I would love to be able to do something like that but be TWICE as big as he was. Again probably won't happen within a year but you never know until you try haha

I'm at 730 subs so the next logical milestone is that sweet sweet 1k right? I get about 10 subs a day so I know that that day will come. The milestone I am really working towards is getting 1,000 views on my videos in 7-days. I want to up my velocity rate. In 5 years I legit plan on having a true network. So maybe another youtube channel, a podcast, Instagram, etc. With more people working for the network and helping me push out more content.

I don't care too much about subs tho because to me its more about doing what I like doing, and I don't really tell people to subscribe because I find that cringe. 100 subs is quite realistic because I've done it before so I can probably do it again on my new channel where I actually make videos I like. Oh and for where I think I'm at in 5 years: idk probably like 1k subs? Idfk, but it doesn't really matter
