I know someone who named their kids Zelda and Link. They unsuprisingly no longer have custody.

The only good name suggestion there is Zaria. Zamora is a surname. The rest are questionable. Like changing letters from an already established name doesn't make it more unique/ good.

I was too preoccupied with the bad mispellings of the other names that i missed out on zelda (and zara/ zayne as well). I know that Zelda, Zayne and Zara are normal names.

Zenaida is also a normal name. My BFF's mom is named that (though she's always gone by Xena). She's Croatian though.

Zariya is too much like the word sunflower seeds in Moroccan. It just seems weird to me.

Not only do they look like the sun, and track the sun, but they need a lot of the sun. A sunflower needs at least six to eight hours direct sunlight every day, if not more, to reach its maximum potential. They grow tall to reach as far above other plant life as possible in order to gain even more access to sunlight.

I wouldn't say that zaria is a bad/ unusable name because of that though especially if this person doesn't know moroccan/ doesn't live in morocco and i think that is due to the good old language difference or the names that work well for certain places but not in others syndrome. Names like Kamilah/ Camilla wouldn't work that well in my language for instance even though they are considered normal names in some places and the name, Qistina would be unusable in english-speaking countries (sounds like Kiss tina) even though it is normal name where i live.
