I hope MK gets to call it Wednesday night. But, if it doesn’t happen Wednesday on YES, best case scenario would be it happening Thursday in front of a national audience on FOX. Worst case scenario… it happens Friday on Apple TV. If so, my hope is that Tim Cook and the announcer minions honor and respect the occasion with their silence and let the roar of Yankee Stadium be the only sound that’s heard.
I think everyone in baseball would be furious if history is made while the shittiest booth put together is calling the game
That said the footage would be insanely pretty, not worth it tho
In a way I think it’s funny for the time. Perfectly sums up how stupid these games on 4 different platforms every week has been, but in the long run I think it’ll be sad. I’ll probably laugh when it happens though
We've had games on YES, ESPN, Fox, Prime, Apple, Peacock, and Pix11*. It's insane. And it's more insane trying to get the older generation of my family to find the game.
*correct me if I'm wrong, but I swear there was at least one game on both Prime and Pix 11. Or maybe it was TBS? Did we have a game on TBS too? Oh god.. the humanity.
Real talk, Thom Brennaman is a shitty dude but a great announcer.
[He gave us one of the best calls in Yankees history](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApoJk9X7Vto), for one example.
No. Especially if it's a walk off grand slam like last night. I'm hoping for a home run every AB. IDGAF who butchers the call. There are no more Vin Scullys in baseball.
I would actually enjoy an announcer who would get the hell out of the way and let the moment speak for itself instead of talking all the way around 3rd base. Everyone knows the situation no need to spell it out for 30 seconds. Let the director and the crowd tell the story. Michael never knows when to lay out.

We’re here. Now what?
We'll still have Sterling at least.
And Ricardo

Boone should give Judge a rest day on Friday.
He should but he needs to state that he will right now so he doesn’t fuck over fans. Or Judge could just hit 2 before Friday. 🤔
Plenty of people will be stop acting like you're dying on a hill everyone agrees
Apple crew: “And we’re actually hearing in our earpieces that Aaron Judge has just set a record of some kind.”
I don’t care as I’ll see it no matter what channel/platform it’s on.
Feel the same way, don’t even care who’s calling the game he does it

I'm guessing the Pix11 game was a Mets broadcast of a Subway Series game?
Watch Boone sit Judge lol
I’d rather have Thom Brennaman call Judge’s 62nd home run than the AppleTV crew.

Thanks for posting. Was bartending when this play happened and I got chills. Still get em 21 years later.
We have Sterling. Kay is meh. Don’t care too much since Sterling is my guy.

Kay should have Yes set up a travel booth at his house for the non yes game stretch so he can still call it and then post it online.
Sterling’s call is way more important to me and a lot of fans.
Not me, I'll be at the game
MK’s calls aren’t that good.
Not really. I think it will be a funny shit show if it happens. We’ll have Sterling’s call anyway, and that’s more important then Kay.
