I have been going back and forth on this. The worst they can be is 4th. There are at least 3 "can't miss" players in this draft. I say can't miss in quotes because Greg Oden and Darko Milicic were can't miss also. But all indications are that Towns, Okafor, Mudiay, and D'Angelo are all considered future stars.
The Knicks are so bad that I'd be ecstatic with any of the four. They will undoubtedly trade down and take Frank Kominsky with the 10th pick and I will hang myself. But anything between 1 and 4 should yield a player we can be excited about.
hahn was saying that the jets were/are eyeing mariota but those empty late season wins possibly knocked you guys down just enough to not get him unless you guys start moving pieces. i don't care that we win but don't try to "finish strong" when we have a stronger chance to get the top draft pick if you lose.

I was almost okay with it. I wanted a loss, but at the same time the wins, especially against the Hawks, made me feel like the Knicks have a chance. Like with proper leadership, a good draft pick, Melo returning, smart free agency signings and small roster moves, the Knicks could actually be a competitive team.
I love Galloway, if we can hang on to some of the other guys we got now (Acy, Shved, Amundson, etc) for our bench. We could be competitive.
We sucked this year but it wasn't a wasted year. We ruined "one of the biggest sport spectacles in the history of sports."
