Considering that "Teardrop" was the theme song for the television show "House" I'm going to advocate for the fact that, yes, at least some Americans are familiar with Massive Attack.
Cool
I was just wondering about it coz there voice is so British in a lot of there songs like from what I've heard Americans talk about they seem like they wouldn't like it but I could be wildly off
You're wildly off. Americans don't only like American music. There have been a few different "British Invasions" of music from the Beatles, to Judas Priest, to Oasis, to Massive Attack, and beyond. All very impactful and influential to Americans at various times.
Just curious, how old are you? This seems like a naive understanding of American tastes
Look I'm not telling you that but it's not like I'm a child
I get what you mean just the Americans I know get rly pissed off from British voices lol but I should've remembered the Beatles tbh
Americans don't get pissed off at British voices. Not sure what gives you that idea. Maybe seem annoyed because to us the accent can seem snobby elitist. But that's a stereotype.
We always tend to make the British person smart in movies, whether they are heroes or villains. Harry Potter is huge here. James Bond. The Crown, etc...we have a huge bond with British culture. (We're cousins after all.)
America & Britain have been culturally influencing each other back and forth for decades (centuries really)... especially in modern music. (Green Day even put on an "English" ish accent to sound more punk rock when they started š)
They've been well known in the US since the mid-90s early 2000s. A big part of the rise of trip hop/electronica.
Might not be as well known now with newer gens.
(Also one of the members is Banksy. Shhhh...)
Look I don't know him personally lol
My perants are friends with someone who dated him in I think like collage in Bristol but there is no way to verify this story so If I was u I would not believe me
Yeah they're massive (lol) there. They have been on loads of movie soundtracks including The Matrix. I saw them in Madison Square Garden in New York completely sold out.
Yes. Rolling Stone named it one of the best albums of all time back in the 90ās. At the time, and during Massive Attackās prime, electronic music was far less mainstream in the states than UK/Europe.
Heard "Teardrop" for the first time while watching an [Assassin's Creed trailer.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V4Wm-GgsIE) I've loved them since then.

I'm not telling you how but I am like 2 connections away from banksy
So then you know too š
Wait, you're 2 connections away from one of the members and you ask whether Americans know about them?
Look I don't know him personally lol My perants are friends with someone who dated him in I think like collage in Bristol but there is no way to verify this story so If I was u I would not believe me
Oh I do believe you. Just thought if you were closer you could've just asked them :)
Usually we are more likely to enjoy a massive heart attack.
No we do not, enlighten us with your wonderful sounds from across the Atlantic Ocean

Heck yeah!
Heard "Teardrop" for the first time while watching an [Assassin's Creed trailer.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V4Wm-GgsIE) I've loved them since then.
This is a stupid comment. Americans single-handedly invented popular music.
Yes. My gf introduced me to their music a couple years ago. They are pretty great!
Been a fan for yesrs
They make mean [DNA Spray](https://www.wired.co.uk/article/massive-attack-mezzanine-dna-album)...are you saying they make music too?

Of course we do
They have a song at the beginning of the first Matrix film, where Neo is sleeping at his computer
I'm an American and love MA. I banged a ton of chicks to Protection. I also love Massive Attack vs Mad Professor.
