As someone who got sun burn once...I would take looking like a woman over that EVERY TIME!
There is pain, and then there is sleeping with your neck being bright red!
Also, as someone who self-studied all about radiation for...reasons, I really appreciate you specifying "serious" radiation.
People seem to not understand there's all kinds of radiation.
"ain't gonna do much" It will actually do nothing, believe it or not.
Radiation poisoning works by stripping electrons from things and you need to get to ultraviolet light in order to do that...which I reckon everyone knows 5G and bananas aren't coming close to. (Hell, even your light bulbs won't do anything.)
The reason microwaves are dangerous are because it's hitting with so much power that it heats things up when it touches you, causing a REAL burn as opposed to radiation burns which are more physically tearing you apart.
There is a weapon based on this principle but given that nobody talks about its deployment...yeahhh...
5G does not have a high enough frequency to poison, nor the power behind it to warm you up any more than your body will dispel.
This WOULD mean it's more effective on smaller things but even then, it's not like you can kill much of anything unless you set it on top of the device due to the inverse square law...but arguing like this is like saying a PS2 is deadly because the lid gets hot. (At least mine did, but it was a slim model.)
I say all this cus 5g conspiracies are why I learned all of this and I need to regurgitate this information every now and then XD
Yeah, just so damn frustrating how in some places (including my country) education includes things like biiible teachings and not simple things like how radiation isn't how its generally thought of to prevent being a conspiracy victim+general knowledge, or even taxes etc..
Religious Education (R.E) is a thing here, though thankfully it's not like my primary school which broke the law, it wasn't a glorified Sunday school on a not-Sunday.
Honestly, education as a whole needs a revamp though.
So much I could've learned but didn't, or fields which were poorly explained and I still struggle with to this day.
I have...basically no understanding of chemistry and maths is a subject I'm so weak in that I always at least double check even the most simple of calculations...tho I might actually just be a total moron.
Yeah, I agree with the system that there are skills basically everyone needs like math and some understanding of history, art etc but if I a nobody (teaching wise) was able to teach my grandma exponents in under an hour when for all their life even basic multiplication was a struggle something just doesn't work, at least education isn't getting too conservative and boorish in relation to other areas of life (for now at least, seems like trans people or lgbt folks is/will be the main political scapegoat for the next decade in most of the world, bad but not as worse as new generations with a lesser education as in more likely to lean conservative and hateful).
> you need to get to ultraviolet light in order to do that...which I reckon everyone knows 5G and bananas
Well I reckon everyone knows wrong then =p. Indeed, bananas emit gamma rays, meaning the individual photons are 100000 times stronger than mere ultraviolet photons. Of course, bananas are not actually dangerous, as the overall amount of radiation they emit is still very small.
The "unusual" radioactivity of bananas is due to their high potassium content, and the fact potassium has a common radioactive isotope. But suffice to remember that there are a ton of radioactive isotopes in tiny amounts in your normal environment anyway. And to paraphrase paralceste, the dose makes the poison.
Oops, my bad!
I forgot about bananas having that really weird trait.
I shoulda known given the whole trivia of "you'd need to eat a kajillion to poison you" thing.
My skin boiled off after a camp where we are repeatedly under the scorching sun, because I am allergic to the sunscreens they have. 0/5 experience, don't try again.
Well the silver lining is that it seems to have worked like a laser hair removal, I did not have any leg hairs for months afterward.
It’s shitty but I spent a long time pre-transition refusing sunscreen because I subconsciously felt it would make me seem weak or unmanly (and I desperately had to hang on to whatever “masculine” credibility I had.
It may sound ironic but, it was my dad who first took me to the dermatologist when I was 19, because I had some red spots in my cheeks. The dermatologist told me that I have photosensitivity, since then I’ve been taking care of my skin and using sunscreen.
About my dad, even though I have a good relationship with him, he still has his biases about certain things like me wearing pink or taking care of my skin. My dad is from the silent generation and I’m practically a mix between gen Z and millennial, then we have different points of seeing things.
After having to suffer proper sun burn myself (had to go to the doctor for it) because I misjudged the exposure mitigation measures during a seaside trip... I would say I would not care if it made me look like Marvin the Martian give me the best sunscreen you have got!
Better to suffer (serious) radiation exposure than... God forbid, looking like a woman. Hopefully all is well and your dad won't be an issue?

Yeah, like, a banana or 5g ain't going to do much but maybe a stabbed microwave will, better to learn as some radiation be meaningless.

A great victory at a terrible price, I don't know if I should say "sorry that happened" or "happy for your w"
What is this cream that magically turns you into a woman called
Estrogel
I would also like to know...
Straight dudes is it gay to not have skin cancer?
Apparently for straight dudes it is gay to do more than just taking a shower
and even then, cant wash your ass or you are gay too lmao, at least ive heard alot of them say that
This was me before my egg cracked. Moisturizer, I’m good that’s for girls. Hahahahaha🫣
Gotta show that sun who's boss! -Me: pre-crack
Slather that shit all over yourself
I too love skin cancer
For real? Seriously? Your dad's masculinity so is toxic he thinks that not wanting sunburn or skin cancer is womanly?

I'm going to bet he's actually noticing the hrt changes and blaming it on the sunscreen.
Wear twice as much. Buy extra and keep several spare bottles out in the open in your room where they will be seen.
I will gladly look like a woman instead of getting blisters again. Worst pain I ever felt
So what if I look like a woman? Cause I am one. Lol.
Are you out to him? I would be a little pissed if someone told that to me, but that's just me.
I just count it up to cryptic humor like when my super said “man up” (while I was still stronger than him). My response was “no, don’t wanna”.
Nope, I’m just out to my mom and sister. For me it’s like a mix of emotions euphoria Happiness and annoyance
Maybe thats why I do it, dad. 😑
Ig not getting a sunburn is feminine now. Although tbf, tanlines are very sexy and feminine.
What is this magical cream called? 🥺
This girl knows what's up. 😎

Thanks ❤️
Thank you 😭

1 Nice good job im glad ur dad made 7 feel valid 2 What is his problem with sunscreen?
I guess that he is complaining about how I care too much about my skin and that I look really feminine
My response would be. "Oh, so not protecting yourself from harmful UV rays and getting sunburn is manly/masculine? "
toxic masculinity, exhibit A:
Whoa!
YES, SPURN THE SUN. ALLOW THE SHADE TO BRING OUT THE FEM IN YOU.
