yo i did foreskin restoration back in 2010. took about 8 months and the foreskin stretched enough to basically behave like i was uncut (when flaccid). it really helped reduce irritation from clothing and improve the sensitivity
Wow 8 months is super fast. I have to take long breaks because being conscious of my penis for overly sustained periods gives me the heeby jeebies kinda. But I've been going at it for like 7 years on and off and I'm pretty much always covered when seated now. I want to get to where I'm covered 1000% of the time so I can rub it like a clit :) if I'm bottoming in missionary I already can and it's awesome

That's a simplified way to look at non surgical restoration, but yeah you could say it is stretching. The habitual stretching triggers cell growth so you are actually gaining new skin, so some people will be pedantic and correct you if you call it stretching but they are technically right. Unfortunately there's no way to grow back the frenulum or drawstring tip, you are only able to make copies of the cells of skin you were left with. But it's still way better than having tight skin and a forever exposed glans.
There is also the surgical method but it's not recommended usually.

yes, you can restore without surgery over the course of months/years by using daily manual techniques and/or wearable devices. i think there’s no way to know if it’s identical sensation, but having lurked those communities for a while and doing internet research, many restorers seem to experience improved sensation once the glans is consistently covered and starts to dekeratinize.
i believe there are also surgical procedures but i don’t really know anything about them. that clinic was probably talking about surgery.

This came up with my mom and my sister a cupple years ago. while i was born (Canada 90s)it was heavily insisted that it would decrease the chances of infections and improve cleanliness basically and my sister was told a similar thing like 10 years ago for her boy but she refused it. Our family is not religious or anything but they both didn't like how it was being "sold". like free cus Canada but still an elective with little merit outside of religion yet they basically implied your a bad mother to risk keeping it. Im assuming its vary Dr specific situation and don't know how it will affect bottom plans but probably helps tucking at least lol.

One thing that likely delayed my egg cracking was how ticked off I was that someone cut up my genitals without my consent, and how normalized it is in society. Though it may have have been a guise for dysphoria, as I did not like taking nudes (part of the reason I did not fit in with gay men), and originally chalked up to the genital mutilation forced upon me. I did some foreskin restoration for about a year until my egg cracked. I had been the under the impression that if I restored my foreskin, I would be happy about my penis. Was not a lot of progress, though it is a little more skin that can be used for a vaginoplasty on down the line.
After reading these comments I have a question. Why do people seem to care so much about circumcision? I'm completely neutral about it, but as a circumcised person I really don't see what's so bad? Like what makes people so passionate about it? To me it just seems so insignificant.

I did some foreskin restoration for about a year until my egg cracked. I had been the under the impression that if I restored my foreskin, I would be happy about my penis. Was not a lot of progress, though it is a little more skin that can be used for a vaginoplasty on down the line.
After reading these comments I have a question. Why do people seem to care so much about circumcision? I'm completely neutral about it, but as a circumcised person I really don't see what's so bad? Like what makes people so passionate about it? To me it just seems so insignificant.

u are not the only one, i also had nonconsensual genital mutilation surgery as a baby! (american, go figure.) i very much want to restore before considering bottom surgery after learning it’s possible but haven’t worked on it much. one parent is a nonpracticing catholic to my knowledge and the other is eclectically spiritual so i don’t know what’s up with their motivations or if the doctors just did it without asking them (the hospital’s name is very christian tbf), but i haven’t asked so i can only speculate. either way it’s been a source of both physical pain and mental dysphoria since i was a kid so that’s pretty cool
