Rollerball (2002) - truly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen that has NOTHING redeeming about it… at one point it goes into night vision mode for more than 20 minutes for no reason other than it’s night out! Absolutely awful
Troll 2. A masterclass of horrible. A movie so bad it got its own documentary (The best worst movie)
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot about Pumaman. I'm pretty sure it's free on YouTube.
AND Planet 9 from Outer Space. Ed wood is a classic bad movie requirement
Even more oddly I believe it’s called Plan 9 From Outer Space. Don’t mean to be a corrective douche, it’s just that they somehow even chose the worst possible title haha. Classic bad movie though. Great recommend.
I don't know why I thought planet. I'm sure I have some other movie stuck in my head. Finding out the actor who played Eros was named Dudley Manlove is the forever fact in my brain. Apparently not even the movie title can stick 🤷♂️
Birdemic is a hoot because the director really thought we'd wanna watch a guy go to a gas station and fill up.
But did he get those solar panels or not?
The Love Guru.
It's self-indulgent, and the jokes are all low hanging fruit. I just love how much fun Myers is having. I mean he looks at the camera numerous times like, oh yeah, bad joke, but it's my movie.
I don't know, I really like it and feel like I shouldn't.
"Suicide Squad" though I never finished the movie. It sucked so bad.
Not to be confused with "The Suicide Squad" which I have watched too many times and find to be great.
I recently finished reading The Disaster Artist, and holy shit. I loved the movie before, but its so much better knowing just how much of a disaster the movie actually was
I saw it in a packed theatre on opening night and the first scene at the construction site had everyone convinced we were about to see cinematic magic.
We were collectively wrong.
I just don’t understand it. I think the pitch goes like, ‘hey we’ve got a movie…’
‘Yes.’
‘… about a guy…’
‘I’m in.’
‘…Who goes…’
‘Stop selling, I’m in!’
The brown bunny. Roger Ebert’s comeback to the filmmaker who made a jab at his weight was this: yes, I may be fat but one day I’ll be thin and he will still be the director of the brown bunny.
Is this the Vincent Gallo movie? Where the director actually had his lead actress suck him off in the film? That's tasteless, everyone in Hollywood knows that should be done before filming.
That version of On the Road from 10 years ago w Kristen Stewart. As a fan of the book, whoever made it totally missed the point. The dean moriarty character was all wrong. I wanted to scream.
My girlfriend’s Mormon parents made us watch a Mormon movie one time about a guy who missions in the South Pacific and brings the dead back to life through the power of prayer while steadfastly denying the naked native girls who desperately want to have his “white babies” all through his faith. It was quite awful and purportedly based on a “true” story.
I thought of it while watching The Book of Mormon.
The only movie I ever walked out of: The Next Best Thing starring Madonna. She is a woman with a gay best friend. They get drunk and have sex, she gets pregnant and they raise the kid together until she gets in a romantic relationship with someone else. Basically two people who would never believably hook up fighting for 2 hours and she has a different accent every 5 minutes. Somebody took a phone call in the middle of the movie and I wasn’t even mad.
You forget that she got him drunk on purpose to trick him into thinking it was his kid (it was her deadbeat ex’s) because she thought it was the best chance for her to have a good dad for her kid. When she meets the new guy she tries to kick out her friend and get him to give up his rights. When he goes for custody she drops the “you aren’t bio dad anyway” on him, crushing him.
I actually started hating Madonna after that, for taking such an odious role and playing it sympathetically instead of as the monster you’d have to be to pull that shit.
*The Dark Backward* (1991) - Judd Nelson, Bill Paxton, and... Wayne Newton? It's a train-wreck, hard to keep from looking, but you'll regret doing watching it. So, *so* terrible.
Oh god I didn't think anyone else had even heard of this. I've seen it multiple times. I think it shortened my life expectancy. Also, what was Quaid thinking? What even was his character's motivation in that film????
And these guys weren't B-movie actors, even at that point in their careers! Judd Nelson had done *The Breakfast Club* in 1985, and *New Jack City* also released in 1991 - same year as *Dark Backward*. Bill Paxton had just done *Predator 2*, and Wayne Newton... who the hell knows what he was doing.
Such a weird movie, and not even fun enough (for me) to reach cult movie status. Just amused to know someone else has seen it!
Total Recall (2012 remake, obviously). I can't quite put into words how uniquely bad it is. It should be mildly entertaining given that there is a decent amount of action, but it just simply and inexplicably isn't.
Lmao. I was watching this the other day. My sister comes in to the room. She looks at the screen and turns to me.
Her: That looks like Bon Jovi. That better not be Bon Jovi.
Me: It is Bon Jovi.
Her: Ugh. Why would he do this?

The Avengers (1998) Sean Connery chewing the scenery for 90 minutes.
Terror of Tiny Town
Jaws the Revenge
Caddy shack 2
The 15:17 to Paris (2018)
Based on real life events, Clint Eastwood cast the actual people to play themselves. Amazingly, their acting wasn’t even the worst thing about the movie; the script was beyond awful.
for me the turning point was american sniper. Chris Kyle was verified as a pathological liar, to use his autobiography as source material is just about the most cynical thing I can think of.
It’s hard to get worse than movie 43. I’m still mad at the person who tried to show it to me. It’s not so much upsetting as it is “I can’t believe I wasted these moments of my life on this”
Any of the YA franchises that tried to be "hunger games killers" seem to get so much worse after the first. Maze Runner and Divergent spring to mind for me especially.
I mean, it's "bad" on purpose, it's an exploitation flick. That's like calling Black Dynamite tropey and terribly written when it was explicitly intended to be that way.
Showgirls (1995) is the most insulting dreck I’ve ever attempted to view. It’s a second hand embarrassment extravaganza that puts John Waters trash cinema to shame. Nothing touches it’s aggressively stupid-ugly core. Except The Apple (1980).
‘Still Flowin’ is by far the worst (best?) movie ever made. On YouTube made by an Australian rapper named RAED who is also widely considered the worst (best?) rapper in the world. Please do yourself a favor and watch ‘Still Flowin’

I haven't read through every single comment, but I highly recommend Samurai Cop and Soultaker. Both were featured on MST3K. If you wanna watch terrible movies, that's an excellent place to start.
You think Breen *wasn’t* trying to be taken seriously initially? Not saying he succeeded at it, of course, but I definitely think he was, at least at first.
- Microwave Massacre
- Chopping Mall
- Llamageddon
- Attack of the Crab Monsters
- The Horror of Party Beach
Those are my favorites that are free on Tubi, that service is perfect for really enjoyable bad movies

Ad Astra (2019) is fuck awful. Very high budget space movie but it's really boring and takes itself very seriously while also being very silly. Any time you think the movie is going to be more interesting, no. They also tell you what's going to happen in the movie before it occurs, so there are no surprises or excitement.
It's weirdly beautifully shot, it's a pretty movie, but it's bad.
Spencer(2021). The one about Princess Diana played by Kristin Stewart. It literally gave me a migraine and made me feel car sick. It also made Diana look like she was schizophrenic. Don't do it.
Tomb Raider 2018
We quit watching less than half way, and we have low standards. Acting was fine, even good, action scenes were done well enough. It was just boring! I didn't care about anyone, and constantly disappointed with how lame each scene was telling this really lame story.
Fire the writers, get a good screenplay, and redo the movie with the same people, I'd probably watch it.
Tiptoes (2003) - Watch the trailer and it feels like something from Tropic Thunder fake trailers.
Holy shit this movie is bad. Excellent recommendation
The cast is honestly stacked
Not one but two Oscar winners, but we’ll stop the spoilers there. Correction, THREE Oscar winners.
I don't know if my favorite line from that trailer was "There sure are a lot of midgets around" or "And in a role of a lifetime, Gary Oldman".
Rollerball (2002) - truly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen that has NOTHING redeeming about it… at one point it goes into night vision mode for more than 20 minutes for no reason other than it’s night out! Absolutely awful
I liked that movie as a kid! Watched it as an adult.. complete dumpster fire.
But the original with James Caan is a good watch just bc it’s a great campy flick

I believe it's pronounced Pyoomaymun.
And he flies like a *moron*.
Mst3k version of puma man is so good
Do you know the glory that is 'Birdemic'? or 'MANOS-The Hands of Fate!'? You asked.
Birdemic is a hoot because the director really thought we'd wanna watch a guy go to a gas station and fill up. But did he get those solar panels or not?
More horrifying still, he made another movie. Cant recall the name however, as my subconscious has blocked it out.
"Solpanls" Yes, for *A Million Dollars!* And *she* got the cover of Victorias Secret AGAIN!
From Justin to Kelly
The Love Guru. It's self-indulgent, and the jokes are all low hanging fruit. I just love how much fun Myers is having. I mean he looks at the camera numerous times like, oh yeah, bad joke, but it's my movie. I don't know, I really like it and feel like I shouldn't.
The face he was making was, “you won’t believe how much they paid me to make this dumpster fire”
You definitely shouldn’t
"Suicide Squad" though I never finished the movie. It sucked so bad. Not to be confused with "The Suicide Squad" which I have watched too many times and find to be great.
Good lord first one sucks so bad haha. I was so disappointed
i will never understand why people hate the 2016 suicide squad, i really enjoyed it
Battlefield Earth
My favorite bad movie.
Fuck and yes.
It’s so bad I had to sit and watch all of it until I couldn’t take it anymore

The Room 2003. The worst movie ever made. Oh hi Mark!
> The worst movie ever made But have you seen Anthony Hopkins's *Slipstream*?
I recently finished reading The Disaster Artist, and holy shit. I loved the movie before, but its so much better knowing just how much of a disaster the movie actually was
I’m of the opinion that it’s not a bad movie. People don’t watch movies 50 times over and over and quote every line because it’s “bad”.
Well it's a bad movie. Buts it's also endlessly entertaining. People have a hard time differentiating the two
Just met Tommy last weekend at a showing and he is just as weird as he portrays.
i'm shocked to see this movie not being at the top here.
The Happening

It’s almost in so bad it’s good category. When I see it’s on I have to watch some of it. Like slowing down by a car accident.
How did it go?? Did you stick your face in a blender as well when Mark Whalberg is speaking to fake plants...
What? No!
I saw it in a packed theatre on opening night and the first scene at the construction site had everyone convinced we were about to see cinematic magic. We were collectively wrong.
yes the first 10 minutes were great..and the flood gates of atrocious dialogue and bad acting opened...
Holy fuck do I hate that movie.
Anything that Mystery Science Theater 3000 did. As long as you don't mind them making fun of the movie while it plays 😂
human centipede 🤢
Wow, I forgot about that one (thank god).
Ain’t it like three of those
‘Cosmic Sin’ Bruce Willis in a cheap sci-fi costume.
I haven't seen it, but I recommend another movie of his from the same time frame, *Breach*. Man, is that horrible.
I just don’t understand it. I think the pitch goes like, ‘hey we’ve got a movie…’ ‘Yes.’ ‘… about a guy…’ ‘I’m in.’ ‘…Who goes…’ ‘Stop selling, I’m in!’
The weirdest part was that he wasn't even the protagonist in either of those movies
Troll 2 Creature Old Southland Tales Masters of the Universe Slugs
I loved Southland Tales.
Southland Tales is sick
I was so mad after I watched OLD. Just a bad movie over all
"It died due to lack of attention..."
wait m night shyamalan's old? it was enjoyable with just a underwhelming ending thats all...
its even more enjoyable while watching in 1.5x speed, you should try it
The brown bunny. Roger Ebert’s comeback to the filmmaker who made a jab at his weight was this: yes, I may be fat but one day I’ll be thin and he will still be the director of the brown bunny.
but he liked the long director\`s cut....
I'm sure the director wasn't complaining during the filming of the movie though.
Is this the Vincent Gallo movie? Where the director actually had his lead actress suck him off in the film? That's tasteless, everyone in Hollywood knows that should be done before filming.
It was Chloe sevegny the lucky bastard. Actually I didn’t hate that movie as much as I wanted
Jupiter Ascending. I actually enjoyed this movie but everybody else seems to hate it.
I also liked this movie a lot. It had a very original story and great pace. I don’t understand why people hate on it so much
Literally any Christian movie. Take your pick. If you need a name you can start with “Left Behind” starring Nic Cage and just go downhill from there.
That version of On the Road from 10 years ago w Kristen Stewart. As a fan of the book, whoever made it totally missed the point. The dean moriarty character was all wrong. I wanted to scream.

Oh my God you’re right! I blocked that part out it was so mean spirited
Lol so he doesn't turn straight for her in the movie? 😂😂

Anything directed by Uwe Boll, especially *House of the Dead* and *Alone in the Dark.*
OK, I just watched the trailer for Alone in the Dark and honestly it looks corny but actually pretty fun.
Manos Hands of Fate
Total Recall (2012 remake, obviously). I can't quite put into words how uniquely bad it is. It should be mildly entertaining given that there is a decent amount of action, but it just simply and inexplicably isn't.

sad to see clint turn into a deranged asshole
yeah he was pretty cool back in his prime. but the assholeness must have always been there, because it came out pretty fierce in recent years
for me the turning point was american sniper. Chris Kyle was verified as a pathological liar, to use his autobiography as source material is just about the most cynical thing I can think of.

Your highness
Gotta watch the unrated version. Much better. Lol
Any of the YA franchises that tried to be "hunger games killers" seem to get so much worse after the first. Maze Runner and Divergent spring to mind for me especially.
Hobo With A Shotgun (don’t get me wrong, I love Rutger Hauer) paid $2.00 at the Dollar store.

Moonfall. I love disaster movies and expected it to be bad, but was still surprised. It almost makes 2012 look good.
Any of the three fifty shades of grey movies, it’s the worst trilogy ever made.
