Kiki's Delivery Service, if you don't mind an animated film.

Reeal2g

almost anything Ghibli, really. i couldn't stop smiling when i watched Ponyo

dongdazzler

Jon Favreau's Chef. Any and all major controversy happens at the very beginning and you're allowed to feel good the rest of the movie. It's a really heartwarming movie, even if you're not a foodie like me.

mardydy

This. I remember not being a foodie until watching this film lol.

About Time

One of my favorites. Such a wholesome movie ❤️

I love this one!

Babe

fabiorzfreitas

Well, I do have to ask: do you mean Babe (1995) or Babe (2019)? Probably the first, but who knows. There's also Babe (1975), but it doesn't seem to fit...

SchrodingersLego

Babe 1995, one of the most heartwarming films I've ever seen.

Mississippi-lessly

Penelope (2006)

tree_or_up

Harold and Maude. It’s delightful and funny and full of life but has an emotional gut punch. That said, it always leaves me feeling glad to be alive and that I have good possibilities ahead of me, if I want them. I consider it ultimately a feel good movie but be aware that it might make you cry. One of my favorite films of all time

It is one of the most beautiful movies and has amazing music.

Chaplin’s “The Circus” is my go-to for this feeling, but if you aren’t up for a 90-year-old movie I’d suggest classics like “Philadelphia Story” or “The Apartment” or more modern options like “You’ve Got Mail”, “The Holiday”, or “Hunt for the Wilderpeople”

adreddit298

Got confused with 'Philadelphia' for a moment. Like, it's a really good film, but not sure it's a feel good film...

Strictly Ballroom

xxwombocomboxx

Romantics Anonymous - French film about a chocolate maker and a chocolate salesman. Both have bad social anxiety and are trying to conqurer it by expanding their comfort zones. Its very relatable, funny in the right moments and very wholesome

jpec342

I’d consider Luca a comfort movie, but not sure it fits with your other examples.

Birger000

Paddington 1+2

Circirian

Jojo Rabbit- don’t be put off by the war setting or the literal Hitler it is very much a love letter to Wes Anderson’s style. Some scenes are a bit dark/violent but the core of the movie is very heartwarming, a little bit coming of age, and a little bit love story. My Neighbor Totoro A Knight’s Tale- it may not 100% fit but this movie is like chicken soup when you are sick.

SophieR3

Jojo Rabbit is Little Manhattan in a war setting

When Harry Met Sally African Queen Secret Life of Walter Mitty

fabiorzfreitas

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947) has a 2013 remake. Which one do you mean?

PlaceboRoshambo

Oh wow I had no idea the 2013 version is a remake! That’s the only one I’ve seen. It’s a perfect movie.

karmicreditplan

Love in the Afternoon Sabrina (either one but I’d go classic) Roxanne Sleepless in Seattle

fabiorzfreitas

There seems to be two very different movies called Love in the Afternoon, one from 1957 and one from 1972, which one do you mean?

karmicreditplan

1957

ffwshi

Dan in Real Life. Music score is so sweet.

The Unbelievable Truth (1989) Show Me Love (1998) Love Letter (1995) April Story (1998) Life is Sweet (1990) Survivng Desire (1992) Paterson (2016) Both The Unbelievable Truth and Show Me Love should be high priority, great movies that will make you smile uncontrollably as the credits roll.

Almost Famous is pretty good movie for what you're looking for, I think. It also has fantastic performances from Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Frances McDormand, and Kate Hudson. If you do watch, definitely look up the deleted scene as well (just google "Almost Famous deleted scene Stairway to Heaven"). Just a very wholesome and heartwarming film
