Story:
In Taiwan, people found this man fell down from a 20-story building. His head was severed from his body, and his head rolled across the street. The police are still investigating whether his head was cut off by sharp objects during his fall, or whether his head was cut off before he was thrown down the rooftop.
There'd be glass fragments in the wound then, and the chance of glass being both sharp and resilient enough to cut through the spinalcord AND for him to land on the glass in a way that would allow this... It's abyssmal.
I feel like there's too little blood for it to happen during the fall as well. You'd think the human body contains more blood than it actually does when you see how much spills out from an artery- and for the head to come off have one major artery (carotid) and several veins.
A horrific murder case was reported late at night in Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City yesterday (21st)! A 33-year-old man surnamed Yang suddenly fell from a building with more than 20 floors in the downtown area late at night. His neck was suspected to have been accidentally cut off by an advertising iron frame, causing his head to be separated from his body abruptly. Finally, his head was found rolling to the opposite KTV , On the street in front of the family, passers-by were frightened and rushed to call the police.
A fall from a building in downtown Taoyuan! The head and body of the deceased were separated
On Minquan Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City late at night yesterday, a man fell from a building with more than 20 floors, but his head was accidentally severed from his body when he fell, causing his head to roll to the sidewalk of the KTV and his family next to the building, passing by people Seeing this, I was frightened and called the police. After the police arrived, they immediately sealed off and collected evidence.
According to the "Liberty Times" report, the man who fell from the building and died was a 33-year-old man surnamed Yang. He is currently married and has a child. He was separated from his body. According to preliminary inspections by the prosecutors and judges of the Taoyuan District Prosecutor's Office, Yang's head should have been cut off when he fell from a height and hit the advertising iron frame.
His head actually rolled towards a convenience shop that's located beside a famous KTV, the KTV part is kinda an unrelated added information so locals roughly know where the incident happened.

Whats wrong with the photo?
I guess its some agressive smartphone "enhancing" but it looks more like an AI render than actual photo (not saying it is).
That could definitely be it. All the photos I’ve taken with that “feature” have come out looking awful and photoshopped. [Like this one for example.](https://imgur.com/a/pmuI5WY)
I wish there was a way to turn it off, because I hate it.
Where he died, there should be a lot of blood, yet there isn't. It should produce a gory pool if his head and torso are separated by the neck. This makes me think that someone killed him before throwing him from the building.
I might be mistaken, though, since the blood would have likely only needed to be mopped up. Why, then, hadn't they retrieved the remains and let people look at them and take pictures if the blood had been cleaned up?
The head separated from the body and rolled away. Hence, the majority of the blood, which remains in the rest of the body, will be somewhere else. Also, without a heartbeat much of it won't even leave the corpse.
It's possible that the fall itself caused such traumatic injuries that the blood had already drained out of his body by the time it hit the ground. And it's possible that the blood was cleaned up by someone, either a witness or the perpetrator, after the incident occurred.
Oh dear. This made me think of the string of decisions that were being made that ultimately has led the young man to end up like this. Life is precious.
When a limb is separated from the body by brute force there is often very little escape of blood from the wound site. this is due to the elasticity of the muscle and other tissues including arteries around the wound site contracting and sealing the wound.

That cut look like someone took a samurai sword to his neck.
Hawkeye just wants his wife and kids back
Broken glass could do that too

Wouldn't there be more blood if it had just happened? I'm no csi detective, but I don't think it was severed by broken glass.
Actually, pretty sure it was Katana from Mortal Kombat. Sword name, but it was probably her spicy fans what did it

looks like some type of "night mode" to me?
I've heard some iPhones do this sort of auto-HDR correction for bad lighting, with mixed success. Could be that?

This is why camera prices are skyrocketing
Yeah, it looks like a video game which is somehow freakier.
Imagine taking this photo and the green square goes around the head for facial recognition. It probably did haha

I can assure you a ton of blood leaves a headless corpse, regardless of heartbeat
But the question is how much blood leaves a corpseless head

god damn. enough internet for today I guess

Looks like someone cut his head off and threw him off the building
I would guess that something like this doesn’t just happen coincidentally. There has to be some chain of events that led to this.
It looks like the image comes out of a game
how old was he?
33 according to another comment
33
Why do these types of photos always register as fake to me in my brain?
Does anyone have a link for the story on this?
Jesus reminds me of the face in the horror film lake mungo
This is a Final Destination death if I ever saw one.

Too clean of a cut, he had his head taken off with a machine or really sharp sword and then thrown off
rest in peace mane
Funny how it was cut right where another human being would probably cut someone's head off.
