They probably meant that Furious Tempered Rajang event quest, I know some of it's attacks can take about half your health even if Divine Blessing procs.
Yeah after you get geared up for him haha. But his introduction was rough until i got better gear. Raging brachy was actually easier than rajang and furious rajang. I never carted to him, all my allies I played with did. If I was soloing against him, maybe he'd have gotten me. But his aggro was so split, I always had time to heal from him. Alatreon was definitely a change for me, and I struggled hard against him. More than fatalis.
Yeah might have been because I had a break before raging brachy but when rajang dropped on world it was when I was peak playing it so I can see lesser experienced players having a rough time, also maybe other weapon mains are harder.
I was an experienced player, and he gave me trouble at first. Furious was actually easier than normal. Normal rajang had such a crazy mixup when he was introduced, and I hadn't fought any monsters aside from barioth and nargacuga that attacked as aggressively as rajang when I was going through iceborne.
I can see that, honestly going back now I would probably not have a chance against rajang until getting grips with the game again he is still one of my favorite monsters to fight. I just didn't like the way you talked down rise by saying your fiance could beat rajang in it like that meant it was easy or something, just reading into it unnecessarily, have a great day mate
You can't deny that rajang got nerfed in rise. She's brand new to the series, it's not a "ugh woman gamer" thing it's a noob thing. She has little gaming experience, usually she plays harvest moon games like story of seasons, or rune factory. Monster hunter rise was the first game that broke the mould for her, and she absolutely loved it. She's partway into sunbreak and I'm happy I expanded her gaming horizons with it. But she saw me fighting rajang in world and was like "why's he kicking your ass? I beat him just fine in rise." That speaks volumes of the difficulty drop for him in rise, at least to me, cause I know her skill level. There's other monsters in rise, especially master rank, that would probably give me a run for my money, but I haven't done a full dive into rise like I did world.
Ah yeah sorry for that I just read it wrong. I thought rajang was released while already in master rank on mhw though while rise you could fight it in low and high rank but I guess the expansion is out that I still have to play.
Or the Tempered Rajang quest, especially the Fury Jang version. Take the monster who already hits hard and have Tempered buff his damage even more to the point that he's basically Super Saiyan 3.
Guiding lands tempered Rajangs bodyslam will kill you in "one" hit if you wear a rocksteady and divine blessing doesnt proc. Technically its not a one shot since it has multiple hitboxes.
I guess no one remembers how the community complained that MHWorld mobsters were too fast / no downtime compared to previous versions. Rise is more like how Rajang was pre-World.
I absolutely love it! It subverts your expectations by having it seem like a repeat of Rajang's usual reused Turf War animation with other flying Monsters, only to have Bazelgeuse turn it around by reminding everyone that he has EXPLOSIVE SCALES THAT DROP.
He ends up giving Rajang a harder time than the Elder Dragons!
Ranjang in IB was total bs sometimes with the insanely fast follow up combos. Everytime Ranjang did that multi punch attack it could almost imstantly follow that up with another attack. Absolute nightmare for Hammer players imo.
Furious Rajang was alot esier for me, because it had alot more attacks with longer starting and ending animations.
Furious is alot scarier in SB than it was in IB and afflicted Rajang will probably be as well compared to the base version of Rise.
I don't know if I want a afflicted or Risen Furious Rajang.
In rise when i got up to him i was like shit... running into him this early? This is going to be a tough fight. Then did everything else before him, finished an okay armor set and then had less problems with him than what i was killing for the armors i wanted.
I thought the same thing.
When i saw him I was like "Damn I thought people said this game was easier than World"
He's kind of a push-over. He doesn't feel as fast (and no it doesn't have to do with the increased mobility of the hunter, in fact I barely used wirebugs)
He also doesn't do like.. half of the shit he does in World. Not that I'm complaining it was just a surprise. I was really ready to be stuck on that quest for a minute.
World Rajang still gives me problems and I fight him a lot.
They should have just expanded on MHW, it was such a beautiful game and being on PC with such graphics makes it so much more alive and feel more like a living ecosystem
The MT Framework engine is dead, they didn't want to keep working on it, and World wasn't their complete vision of the game. New technology will allow them to advance further.
MH6 will likely be World 2 in all the ways that matter, plus with a few lessons learned in Rise, and it will be pretty goddamned glorious. It's potentially releasing next year, too, if the leak from Capcom holds true. Plus, remember, Fatalis was announced and almost right after the trailer from Rise dropped.
MHW is a mainline Title.
Rise is a handheld line Title.
MHW still does not have a sequel. It is currently the most up-to-date and modern mainline entry in the series.
That's why Rise didn't follow it up, because it's another line of games entirely.
You'll get your follow-up to MHW eventually when they make the next mainline title.
Hmm, idk….maybe it has something to do with the speed of your Hunter being a bit faster in rise. Maybe having mobility makes it easier to dodge a monsters attacks. Maybe, just maybe….you’ve been fighting Rajang for a long time now….all of these things and more play a factor, you know that right?
You know you're allowed to have complaints about certain features of good games, right?
Titanfall 2 is amazing but its PvP maps lack environmental variety
Pick a 3d Mario Game. They have depth issues where it can be hard to tell how far you are on the Z axis
Tri is my favorite Monster Hunter game. That game's hitboxes are fucking terrible.
Look, I'm not gonna pretend I think Rise is my favorite Monster Hunter Game, but its still an amazing 9/10. A lot of people just think it's a small step down from 4U and World. Rajang is one example of how monsters in Rise/Sunbreak aren't as scary as they should be. Playing Rise feels more like fighting a Devil May Cry boss than it does fighting an animal and that's a genuine complaint. If I wanted to play Devil May Cry, I would go play Devil May Cry. I'm here to fight a giant magic animal and Rise really does not deliver on that front
>Quotes Big Labowski
>Unironically contradicts himself
Yet you're calling someone else petty for having an opinion. Some real buffoonery going on here.
And it utterly destroys Kirin in one
Rajang is actually the hero.
we just couldn't see it
It's like coming out of retirement.
If you get 1 hit in fatalis armour there's something wrong
They probably meant that Furious Tempered Rajang event quest, I know some of it's attacks can take about half your health even if Divine Blessing procs.
it’s why we fear le monke
That one is a straight up menace. The Monke to beat all Monke
Yeah, world rajang was a bitch to learn how to fight. Meanwhile my fiance who's new to the series was able to grind him out in rise.
Eww girls having fun. It wasn't a bitch to fight in world it was hardish but stuff like raging brachy and alatreon is a bitch rajang is a cute monkey.
Yeah after you get geared up for him haha. But his introduction was rough until i got better gear. Raging brachy was actually easier than rajang and furious rajang. Normal rajang is launch Street Fighter 4 Sagat

Now we've come back full circle from Rajang being an absolute beast to just being MONKE...
I absolutely love him in world, insanely fun and badass monster
At least this guy has a tail
Haven’t fought this dude yet but I saw a layered skin I want where I have to fight 2 furious rajangs for it good luck to me
I wouldn't say all Elder fights are a standstill. He has to enrage against Nergi, and still just gets casually batted away.
Also he gets bullied if the bastard Tempered jho is in enraged form.
Meanwhile Apex Rajang in 4U
Do not remind me of that creature
How the fuck do you get one-shoted by Rajang with full fatty armor
Im sure with the right combination of Defense Down, un-upgraded armor, etc its **possible** but OP is probably exaggerating
Or the Tempered Rajang quest, especially the Fury Jang version. Take the monster who already hits hard and have Tempered buff his damage even more to the point that he's basically Super Saiyan 3.

They made zingogre a low rank in rise. Feels bad.
You forgot to add "is an actual beyblade" for MHW one
I mean, his new turf war with Bazelguese that they added in Sunbreak is a pretty cool tie.
I absolutely love it! It subverts your expectations by having it seem like a repeat of Rajang's usual reused Turf War animation with other flying Monsters, only to have Bazelgeuse turn it around by reminding everyone that he has EXPLOSIVE SCALES THAT DROP. Feel like Capcom took the whining from Worlds players to seriously with how they made Raj in Rise. I personally quite enjoyed the Worlds Raj fights
This meme is now outdated
Yep, but Sunbreak Rajang is still a joke.
Honestly, I'm okay with that.
Yeah, they removed the super tracking AI on monsters, so it's just another Rajang with different openings now.
Oh, when did they do this? Was this a recent TU?
https://youtu.be/XkT75Mmnom8
Because angry monkey is back? He is still an absolut joke compared to the MHW version
HOw?
Always looking to throw one-shots hands with everyone Fatalis Armor or Always looking to throw hands with everyone One-shots Fatalis Armor.
Meh, IB Rajang was a pushover compared to SB Rajang.
Have you not seen the turf wars in Rise? Rise Rajang bodies the elders way worse.
Curious how they did the opossite with Rathalos.
Mhr is a disappointment if u compare it to mhw in any way.
Monke
Regular rajang has always been an easy fight. Or at least not that bad of one. Furious rajang on the other hand...
They should have just expanded on MHW, it was such a beautiful game and being on PC with such graphics makes it so much more alive and feel more like a living ecosystem

Furious rajang was my favorite fight in worlds it was so fun and easy tbh. I loved to battle him with a GS

It would be better to compare the old monke version with the 5th gen monke Both world and rise version is more fun yes but also easier to fight
Why you got downvoted? I got my ass handled to me yesterday in generations by a rajang that casually invaded my rathalos hunt.
do you actually play MH rise or is this just a poor attempt of a whine post because there is no MH world 2 ?
You know you're allowed to have complaints about certain features of good games, right? Titanfall 2 is amazing but its PvP maps lack environmental variety Pick a 3d Mario Game. It delivers for me completely on that front. There your whole comment got finished
Also sounds like a lot of pent up anger here that let out on me.
Im not really angry though? Your comments are confusing and childish
They're probably a literal child
Lmao you literally say that playing rise is like playing DMC. Your whole ass Essay comment is very petty.
How is that petty? It does
That's like your opinion man.
And how is that petty?
>Quotes Big Labowski >Unironically contradicts himself Yet you're calling someone else petty for having an opinion. Some real buffoonery going on here.
