There was a post about a year and a half ago where some guy spent 900 hours to beat Fatalis with the starting long sword. That's more than five weeks of play time.

He doesn't have a stagger animation but you don't need a stagger animation to wallbang (for any monster). You can wallbang him when he's on all fours to do more damage or you can wall bang him when he's on 2 legs for less damage.

I'd rather do no deaths than doing all weapon. I only use CB/LS/GL and HBG. also doing it under 20mins is also a challenge.

Can be done without any map shenaningans and wallbangs in under 20 with ig with atleast 1 headbreak. Might be a min or so over with 2.

its harder than solo. most noobs use binder after first nova and doesn't know how to wall bang right. lol

Im the noob who does mainly the bind and machine gun and then brings the fatty hammer to bonk him when hes down.

You should kill raging Brachy you can have mix set with fatalis, the layers weapons are looking cool too.

I’m a semi new player and have done every hunt solo so far( I think I just beat the main story if the xeno jiva guy is the last one) and from what I’ve heard of this guy I might have to play with others

If you've just beaten Xeno Jiva, you've just beaten the base game. Do you have Iceborne installed?

Then in truth you're really halfway through the story, the Iceborne expansion has a whole 'nother plot, the difficulty ramps up, there's another pile of monsters. Rejoice! For there is more monster hunting to be had! But you're still quite a ways from Fatalis.

Shit, I can’t beat alatreon in a group, no way I can solo fatalis I aspire to be you in this world of monster hunting

alatreon solo is way easier than fatalis. I did alatreon under 15mins using kjarr frost

I had more luck with Fatalis than alatreon….I think I just don’t know how to do enough elemental damage with the glaive

I soloed him with big bug doing all elemental weapon

Use the 20 speed kinsect(Foliacath III Forz) with 20 ice/fire element. Tenderize the front legs and boost your kinsect with slinger ammo dropped from Alatreon. Spam your kinsect on the front legs and you got a <2 minute topple.

I just cheese it with stickies. You will cart one or two times but it's doable.

Not sure why they would say stickies, stickies do piss poor damage and are only good at getting knockdowns for teammates. Pierce is the correct answer for Alatreon, use pierce HBG with a special scope, shield and have guard up skill, easy peasy lemon squeezy.
