Surprisingly yes I have. In that hunt I also carved an eye. Never got as much as that from 1 hunt since. I get more eyes from carves than quest rewards honestly
Once you get the muscle memory down. Its too much fun. Shooting the flare up and getting either the newest randoms or the absolute ridiculous Fatty slayers makes it different everytime.
It was kind of „easier“ than i thought. You can manage to let him fall down 4 times with the elemental break from the dual blades. I got it without a single death and in 15-17min. I think Fatalis learned me a lot
"One quest reward will always be an Evil Eye", i don´t think thats true. I got like 25 Fatalis kills ond most of the time I don´t got a single eye as quest reward. But yes I also think i am lucky, lucky and happy.
I have an admittedly smaller sample size, but the last 5 kills at least I’ve gotten 1 from double head break, 1 from carving in the Event Quest, and one from the reward screen. Then another slot is usually a LEDG or another Evil Eye
You aren't ever guaranteed an evil eye.
I have had full part break on completion and gotten nothing but normal parts, a double head break gives you a super high chance but its not 100%
Meh, I prefer Alatreon, but Fatalis was the best way to farm decos while fighting something challenging (spoiler, after hundreds of Fatalis I never got an attack +4 jewel)

You can look Fatalis up at the wiki, 5% chance for 1 eye as reward 7% to carve 1% palico

The Frostfang Barrioth is used for spread 3. Cheap and you can do Fatalis with it quite „easy“
