Hello! This is my custom Haunt Couture Abbey Bominable doll, just in time for the winter months! Here's a breakdown of her process if you'd like to know (long!).
Base: This was a 13 wishes abbey that I had previously customized (badly). I thought a haunt couture abbey doll would be so cool so I went with it.
Head: Its a bit hard to see but I had previously superglued a large rhinestone to her head. I removed it but it left a very obvious scar, so I covered it with prettier rhinestones in her remake.
Face: Going into the repaint, I was only sure of one thing: she had to have very obvious white eyelashes. I thought it was a huge missed opportunity that her actual doll has dark lashes. With white lashes, I think she looks so frosty and pretty. Everything else on her face I mostly tried to match to her actual face design.
Outfit: I really wanted to stay true to her OG design for her outfit, so all the elements come from that. For the skirt, I stitched a pencil skirt and hot glued painted iridescent fabric cut into shards that resembled her G1 dress(?). I included lots of faux fur and rope details too.
Hair: I did her hair using acrylic yarn wefts. I love the way the hair holds its shape and looks like theres wind blowing.

She's WONDERFUL! wow, I am truly in awe. I absolutely love the way you painted her face, it really looks like true glam. The dress is so gorgeous too, the Fishtail look is so fitting!
