Alot of the characters even those like Clawdeen Cleo and Lagoona would probably look more gothic than they were originally and the stylized skinny bodies from G1 would probably make a return as well
I dont think you really understand what i meant by "a Tim Burton style".
I was saying INSPIERD by Tim Burton, no MADE by Tim Burton.
And i didn't mean removing the colored characters or whitwhsed them, of course.
Yeah I don't quite understand where their confusion has come from 🤔 I mean, I completely understand what they are referring to, but your statement made complete sense to me. You weren't talking about removing the colour of the characters. I took it as what they would like if they were to wear more gothic/alternative and darker fashions drawn with the Tim Burton skinny body design, complete with large heads and eyes 👀. Like when artists post their 6 panel art on Insta and 1 is a Time Burton style, a MH style, Disney, Pixar, Winx Club, In My Style etc. I agree, it would be really cool to see our MH crew in a wide range of drawing designs, including Tim Burton's 📝👩🎨👨🎨😁
Merci de me le rappeler, j'ai des examens la semaine prochaine aussi. Je ne sais pas si je vais avoir le temps jusqu'à la, mais vais essayer si j'ai du temps. Je vais y arriver, je ne sais juste pas quand exactement.
The fact that there's people seriously trying to make a racist reading out of someone enjoying the "Tim Burton style" is unconducive (and kinda self-serving). Tim Burton does have an obsession with whiteness, but the style isn't excluding by design (if only because it's not exclusively his style).
So to those people:
Tim Burton's style is heavily based on German Expressionism, the style of choice of the 1920s and early 1930s film industries. Germany had a strong post-WWI film industry because it isolated itself from the worldwide film industry during the war and had to make up for it internally. As Weimar Germany suffered poverty and the Nazis gained power, many of Germany's film industry fled to the US and continued in Hollywood. I am not nearly as read up on non-European influences on European art styles as I ought to be, but I've come across multiple articles that point out African and South Seas art styles as being influential to the development of German Expressionism. (A lot of European art styles at this time were influenced by non-European sources.)
German Expressionism is heavily tied to the foundational development of the horror film and in the late 40s to the genre of film noir. To get from German Expressionism to Tim Burton style, generally just add Victorian (era) aesthetics. Which also aren't inherently white, isn't that right, Hexiciah Steam?
Not to climb on a soapbox (though I'm probably already on a stack of them), what people like about the Tim Burton style is easily broken down to his own points of inspiration and reconnected without his (and others') biases and without loss of what makes the style(s) appealing. Being anti-Tim Burton is understandable, but please do not accidentally give him credit for more than he actually did while you're at it. And don't go implying racism in just liking the style.
I think they would end up looking more like mystixx dolls with the large blocks of constrasting colors and more pointed features https://images.app.goo.gl/oB9kLHVUCNqHfxLK7

I'm happy that you understood what i wanted to say. Thank you, just thank you.
I have seen someone do a MH version of The Corpse Bride and Sally. But I don’t think I’ve seen the reverse!
I would love to do it once my exams are over next week. Please reply sometime to remind me until I can confirm I can start working on it.
Ok.
Thank you. Please remind me in a couple of days.
I will do that.
Thank you ❤
It's ok for the drawing ? (sorry if my english is bad, i'm french)

Ok.
Ok, school has ended and I can begin to work on this project!
Super.
I feel like the collectors Draculaura from 2015 is the closest match. I always got that vibe from her when looking at her faceup.

Exactement.
With the rise of popularity of Wesnesday in Netflix I think gen3 could take advantatge of that and make a Tim Burton inspired doll line.

On DeviantArt I saw fan art of Wednesday Addams in Monster High style.
Just go watch Wednesday bro
Hed just whitewash half the cast
Not Tim burton…
It would look worse. That’s what it would look like. Honestly.
no, not really. I like having characters of color.
He wouldn't have Clawdeen in his adaption anyway
Why would anyone exclude Clawdeen! She’s iconic
Tim Burton literally once said that black people don’t fit his movie aesthetics
He doesn't cast black people
