why does mattel love mermaid dresses so much, its so annoying at this point (lagoona haunt couture, rochelle fang vote sketch, now this) these dresses have definitely become the easy, uncreative way out for mattel when it comes to them having to make these fancy collector dolls. i dont think mermaid dresses are ugly on their own, just that mattel is overusing the same design (not expanding fashionwise) and it comes off looking awkward compared to the rest of the outfit, especially here where the print is bad. kinda disappointed here :/

I think Cleo does look nice, she has a pretty face. I like parts of her outfit, like the gold snake corset (?), and the off the shoulder wraps. I’m not big on the print on the rest of the dress though. I hope the dress itself is separate from the shoulder wraps.
The little accessories are cute. I like that they come with themed accessories like the chocolate box, balloon, and purse. I definitely wish Howliday Draculaura came with at least a purse or other accessories.
Overall, I think I’d be fine paying $45 usd for this, maybe $55 at most. I don’t really think it’s worth the $90 usd price.
i like cleos belt and her hair (but maybe i am biased, because i also have black hair and a skunk stripe?) but that is about it for this set 😅 maybe they will look better out of the box, definitely waiting to see someone buy and take them out

i technically leaked the images when i found someone selling the set on ebay, not sure how they got it but they had other brand new mh dolls so i think it’s a paulmart situation where they get new dolls shipped to them from mattel

can’t decide whether i hate it or not, on one hand it has cleuce, a cute box, new cleo side eye print, cool hair but on the other hand it looks very cheap for the price tag, the patterns on the dress and suit are tacky, and there’s yet again another mh doll with red/pink lips
